Khushi's POV

It has been more than 8 hours and Saumya still hasn't returned. Where is she? Did she get kidnapped? No! This can't happen. Should I call the cops? No... I shouldn't get them involved. I should call di, she can tell me where Saumya is after all her guards would tell di everything. I quickly dial di's number but before di could pick up, I cut the call as I see an upset Saumya at the door.

I rush up to her and hug her to calm her down, but she cries continuously.

Me (letting go of the hug and cupping her) - What happened Saumya?

Saumya (upset) - di...di... I did something I shouldn't have... I ... am so ashamed of myself...

Me (upset) - What did you do Saumya? My sister can never do anything wrong...

Saumya (upset) - Di, I...

Before Saumya could finish her sentence, mum slaps me across my face, while dad stares at mum while she is slapping me.

Mum (crying) - Did... I raise you to be like this Khushi? I can't believe what I just saw and heard...

Dad (upset) - Garima, trust your daughter...she isn't like that

Mum (upset) - I do Sashiji... but the proof is against her... did you go to ASR's house yesterday?

How did mum find out?

What is she talking about?

Me (upset) - m..mum..what are you talking about?

Mum angrily throws paper on my face and she points to a headline that states, "ASR's new mistress," and it contains photos of me and him.

Mum (angry) - What is this?

Me (shocked) - Ho...w? He... said...he was... (turning to mum)... I am...sorry mum, that you had to see this... but this isn't real mum.. Trust me...

Mum (upset) - I know it isn't Khushi...but why is this happening?

Me (angry) - I will be back...

I angrily head towards the exit but mum holds me back.

Mum (annoyed) - Don't make the same mistake twice Khushi... don't make the same mistake again...

Saumya (upset) - yes di, and this has to be a misunderstanding, bhaiya would never do that...

Me (angry) - Stop taking that laadgovernor's side... he can do it... I will not spare him.

Mum lets go of my arm and I rush towards the car while Saumya comes behind me. The journey towards that laadgovernor's house was very silent with me muttering some swear words under my breath.

At Raizada Mansion

ASR's POV

I check the news with a smirk, this is what that Khushi gets for messing with ASR. Suddenly, di comes running up to me and stares at me with anger.

Di (angry) - What's this choote?

Me (smirking) - It's called tit for tat... di

Di (angry) - Is this a way to behave with a female? You can't play with someone's character like that...

Me (annoyed) - And she can play with people's hopes and feelings... why did she even pretend to help us, when she didn't want to? Why did she give me hope... that... she could be the girl... that ASR would fall for...

Di (angry) - How much do you know her? She helped me because in return I promised her ... her sister's safety...she didn't give you hope... it was you who gave yourself false hope...

Me (angry) - No di...

Voice (angry) - MR ASR! What the hell is this?

Khushi comes inside the mansion with bloodshot eyes, while I smirk but my smirk soon vanishes when I see Saumya coming in with sadness and disappointment in her eyes.

Khushi (angry and throws the paper at me) - What is this?

Me (annoyed) - Are you blind? It's a paper...

Khushi (annoyed) - What does it say on the paper, Mr ASR? It says I am your mistress...

Me (smirking) - The truth hurts, doesn't it...

Khushi (annoyed) - I am not your mistress... and what truth are you talking about?

Me (angry) - I know you aren't my mistress but the world doesn't know that...

Saumya (upset) - How could you do this bhaiya? How could you play with a female's dignity? I thought you were a nice guy bhaiya... I looked up to you bhaiya...

I look at Saumya with guilt, I can't see disappointment for me in her eyes. As I am about to explain to Saumya, Rudra comes and says...

Rudra (upset) - Look Sumo... I mean Saumya...my brother always has a reason for things...he wouldn't have done anything on purpose...

Khushi (shocked) - You are taking his side, Rudra... I thought of you as a younger brother... but you... you showed me your true colours today...

Saumya (upset) - let it be di... all boys are like that...

Me (shocked) - No Saum...Saumya, let me...

Di (angry) - THAT'S IT! I don't want to hear anyone...yes Saumya and yes Khushiji what choote has done is stupid... he shouldn't have done that... and Rudra there is no good reason behind what your brother did... he did it because he was hurt when Khushiji refused to help us and I support Khushiji... she has every right to say no... but choote... you don't know the meaning of no...there is only one solution to this...

Rudra/Saumya (upset) - What?

Di (upset) - MARRIAGE!

Me (angry) - Marriage and with her... not possible di...

Di (angry) - You have to...and you don't get a choice choote...you ruined her reputation and played with her dignity... it's time that you redeem it...

I was about to shout back to say no, but Khushi says something shocking before me.

Khushi (upset) - If it's the only way for me to get my respect back then... I... am ready...

Me (angry) - What? I am not though, I can't just marry some stranger... di, this is about my life... let me make a decision ...

Di (angry) - You already made a decision before... to.. Hurt Khushiji... and now you have to bear the consequence...this is not just about your life but about Khushiji's...

Not having any other choice, I agree with this marriage but I will think of a way to sort this issue out. I will not marry this girl, even if she is the last girl on this planet.

Khushi (annoyed) - even I won't marry you even if you were the last guy on the planet.

How did she do that? Does she read mind?

I ignore her and I leave towards the study room.
