3rd Point Perspective

As Khushi goes inside the house she sees her mum shouting at her father.

Garima - Where did this girl go? Doesn't she know it's already 7 pm and she has to be home by 6 pm? Call the police!

Sashi - Relax she will be home soon and if she isn't home within an hour we will call the police.

While trying to calm his upset wife, the guy notices a figure standing near the door having tears in her eyes while looking at them with love. As soon as Khushi sees her dad looking at her, she runs towards him and gives him a warm hug. While the mum also joins it making it a family hug. Suddenly a chubby girl pouts and says, ' how can you have a family hug without me?' and then rushes to join the hug but Garima immediately lets go of the hug before the girl could join the hug.

Garima (angry) - Where were you miss KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA!!?

Khushi - mum chill I was just ... (thinking of a lie) planning a trip with Carly and then we lost track of time.

Garima (looking at her suspiciously) - Oh really... (Khushi nods) I called Carly half an hour ago and she told me that she last saw you at 5 pm.

Khushi (looking down) - Ummm.... mum... We had a fight before that's why I went to the park nearby to cool down and didn't see the time. I lied because I thought you will be upset with me

Garima (still worried) - hmmm... It's okay, go freshen up and meet us for dinner.

Khushi - Ok mum

Khushi goes to her bedroom and sees that her messy bedroom for once in actually clean. 

Suddenly a voice came saying, 'I did it.' Khushi could recognise the voice from anywhere after all it was her only sister Saumya, the same chubby girl that wanted to join the hug.

Khushi - why?

Saumya - Di (sister) you know na how I have a thing to make sure everything is perfect and clean.

Khushi - yes I know, you have been having that since we came to Australia which was around 7 years ago.

Saumya - Ok di... go change and di, you're welcome.

By the time Khushi could say thank you, Saumya had left.

Khushi's POV

Even Though Saumya isn't my real sister I feel connected to her as if she is somehow blood-related to her. I am so glad I have a sister like her. She is the best.

3rd Point Perspective

After half an hour Khushi came down and saw that her dad was helping her mum to arrange the dinner for the family while Saumya is talking to her classmate about an assignment that is due the next day. Khushi goes towards to help her parents when her mum says.

Garima (smiling) - It's ok Khushi ... I and your dad will set up everything, 

Sashi (concerned) - Could you ask Saumya to join us for dinner?

Khushi goes towards Saumya and sees her blushing while talking on the phone.

Khushi (taps her shoulder) - Saumya who are you talking to?

Saumya gets shocked and immediately cuts the call but not before muttering a bye to the caller and then turns around.

Saumya - I am... Just.... (blushing)..... Di lets go have dinner.

Khushi (holding her by her elbow) - Who is it?

Saumya - I was talking to my classmate Reyaan

Khushi - is he just your classmate? Or...

Saumya (interpreting her) - no di he is just a classmate

Khushi - Why were you blushing?

Before Saumya could answer their mother called them for dinner. The dinner went with Gaurima ignoring Saumya's existence as always while Sashi joking around with both of his daughters. Khushi was enjoying her dinner with her family members but at the same time, she couldn't stop herself from thinking about the stranger.
