No one's POV

Saumya runs towards the ambulance as fast as she can and she sees her father being taken away by the paramedics in a stretcher while her mum and sister are crying seeing the scene. Rudra comes behind Saumya with her stuff and sees her standing away from the family and crying. He unknowingly puts his hand on her shoulder and she immediately starts crying while hugging him. Rudra hugs her back to calm her down and in that process, Saumya's stuff which was in Rudra's hand falls down gaining the attention of Garima and Khushi. Garima looks at Saumya disgusted while Khushi rushes up to her sister and takes Saumya from Rudra's arms and hugs her.

Khushi (crying) - It's alrig...alright Saumya... he will be fine...

Saumya (crying) - What... happened to him?

Khushi (upset and letting go of the hug and wiping Saumya's tears) - He had a heart attack... he was sitting...

Garima (interrupting Khushi) - Why do you care? What were you doing when he needed you the most? Oh wait, you were romancing with that guy... you have always been bad luck in my family... because of you... we had to leave India... now because of you, he got the heart attack...you are bad luck... get lost from this family.

Khushi, Saumya and Rudra were all stunned seeing Garima yelling at Saumya like that. She has never talked to Saumya, she has always ignored her presence and for the first time, she is yelling at Saumya. Khushi comes back into reality and looks at her mum with anger, no one can yell at her sister like that and Saumya is innocent.

Khushi (angry) - Mum, don't say anything to Saumya she was just...

Garima (angry) - Don't talk to me like that Khushi... don't forget that I am your biological mother, and the girl you are standing up for is not even blood-related. You are coming with me...

Garima drags Khushi towards the car and forcefully makes her drive to the hospital while Saumya cries at her fate. Why does this always happen to me? When I finally decided to stand up, all my hopes come crashing down?

Rudra (holding her shoulder) - Don't cry Saumya... it's fine... I will take you to the hospital...

Saumya (upset) - No Rudra, bhaiya must me worried about you... plus I don't even know which hospital they went to ... I will wait for them here...

Rudra (holding her hand and pulling her towards the car) - The door is locked and I will not let my friend stand at night by herself waiting for her parents ... we will sit in the car... but I am not leaving you alone... do you understand?

Saumya (upset) - No Rudra, why are you doing this for me? You should go home... bhaiya...

Rudra (annoyed) - Stop being so stubborn... I will call Arnav and let him know but I am staying with you... if you want, you can come to my house at... and you can stay the night there... you have two options...here or at my house?

Saumya wanted to see her bhaiya again to talk to him about her problems but she also wanted to see her father, who knows Khushi might come back for her?

Saumya (upset) - Ok, we will sit in the car and wait for them...

Rudra and Saumya sit in the car after picking up her stuff and they calmly wait for her parents, or sister to come back but no one did. That night Saumya cried and cried waiting for someone to come back, waiting to see her father, not having any energy left, she cried herself to sleep on Rudra's shoulder and Rudra who saw this felt really bad for her and therefore called Arnav.

On Call

Arnav (worried) - Where are you dammit?

Rudra (upset) - Bro... I need your help...

Rudra starts explaining what happened with Saumya and her family while Arnav listens to the situation feeling very angry at Saumya's mother and sister.

Arnav (angry) - What the... why can't her sister stand up for her? Is she taking her sister for granted? Can you bring Saumya home this instance? I can't see her like this...

Rudra (upset) - Sorry bro, I can't do that... Saumya is asleep at the moment...and we are in front of her house... waiting for someone from her family to come... and check on her...

Arnav (angry) - It's 3 am Rudra, no one will come now... just bring Saumya to our house this instance and I will figure out where her father is ...

Rudra tries to argue with Arnav but as always he disconnected the phone before Rudra could argue and Rudra starts to go towards home. On his way home, he could hear Saumya murmuring papa and di even in her sleep. Rudra wanted to do something to help her get rid of the pain, but what should he do?
