Lee

We almost made it to Ooo without the weird rain thing. Almost. Marshall disappeared suddenly, and I went screaming towards the ground... or a tree. He floated down sheepishly, even though it wasn't his fault, and after giving a speechless Gumball Olivia's blood, we continued. We were just over the border when the blood rain started. Strangely enough, not a single drop crossed the border.

It didn't need to. Marshall still became frenzied, leading to me struggling out of his grip and rolling down the grassy hillside. Frenzied Marshall was just watching me. "Your lip is bleeding." He told me.

"You seem a lot calmer." I told him, wiping it on my arm and hoping the bleeding had stopped and that he wasn't going to kill me. Of course, it's probably my lip keepin him in control.

"You know Fionna, I am calm. I'm in control. Do you know how rare that is? Especially with your little... trick." Frenzied Marshall narrowed his eyes at me.

"What do you want?!" I asked him angrily.

"First of all, I want control of this body. All the time. You see Fionna, whenever he gets frenzied, I come out. I am him, just more... conniving. A different person, if you will. I've been sitting around for a thousand years, only brought out at rare moments, so I've had time to come up with a plan. To have my own personality. To figure out how to mess up his life. Most of the things that have gone wrong in his life, like that annoying Candy Prince bugging him all the time are because of me."

"Wh-what do you want with me?" I cursed inwardly. No fear.

"Well, if Marshall thought he killed you, it would psychologically scar him for life. I'd have to take over all the time. But I'm not going to kill you."

"You're not?"

"No. Marshall -your Marshall- is going to kill you." He grinned that crazy grin at me again, then brushed my lock of hair out my my eyes.

"You're very pretty, you know." He said matter-of-factly. Even though I knew this wasn't really Marshall, I blushed.

"You're not Marshall. At least not the Marshall I know and lo- the Marshall I know. So, what do I call you?" I asked, changing the subject.

"You know what would be ironic? Marshall and Lee. Two sides of the same coin, two different people. Plus... I can't really think of anything. He's the creative one."

"Alright then. Lee, give me back Marshall." I said firmly.

"I can't do that Fi." He laughed. I stared at him. Was it...? No. No no no. It was still Lee.

"Don't call me that!" I growled.

"Why? You let Marshall... oh. That's why you don't want me to call you Fi." He grinned at me like the cat who'd caught the canary.

"Shove off, Lee." I said, puncuating the statement with a glare and pushing him roughly away.

"I would... if you weren't Marshall's Fi. If you were just some kid, I'd gladly leave you alone." He said.

"Only Marshall can call me Fi!" I said hotly.

"Aw. It's like if I took something of yours and dangled it in front of you, knowing you couldn't possibly get it back without a little help from me." Lee laughed.

I glared at him again.

"Stop it, Lee. Give me back Marshall, and leave us alone."

"Make me."

"Knowing how malicious you are, you'd become Marshall again just as I punched you. And it would hurt him, not you."

"Hey, you're catching on to me."

"Yeah. Now shove off- I'm not scared of you anymore, and Marshall would never hurt me." Lee growled, and pulled me close, like we were dancing.

"Two things, Fi. First, I'm not Marshall. I'm someone completely different, and you'd do well to remember that. Second, if he doesn't kill you, I will." He whispered dangerously.

I blushed, and he smirked at me. I struggled out of his grip, and he said, "Fine. I'll give him control again. He's been struggling since I took over, I'm tired, and your lip stopped bleeding. So just remember Fi, out of the two of us, one will eventually kill you."

A second later, Marshall was watching me closely. "What just happened?"

I blushed and wouldn't look at him.

Well Marshall, would you like to hear how you threatened me, or how you made me blush more than Gumball when he's won one of those huge science prizes? By the way, you have a psychopathic second personality that appears whenever you smell blood. I call him Lee, because he told me to, but he also said he'd get you to kill me to psychologically damage you.

"Fi? You okay?" Marshall asked me a little worriedly.

"I'm fine." I said, giving him a look like, why are you asking?

"Because you keep mumbling something, and I'm sorry about whatever happened when I was... yeah."

"No, Marshall, no! No, I'm just worried about you."

"Worried about me? Fi, I was going to drink your blood!"

"Not this time. Frenzied Marshall... he's kind of ot this whole plan to psychologically mess you up and take over your body forever." Yay. I sound crazy.

"Yeah..." He said like he was humoring me.

"I'm serious! Why do you think I'm still alive?! Last time, he -you- he was all set to kill me! Now.... he just..."

"He what?" Marshall asked, looking concerned. "What did he to you, Fi?!"

It all came out. Everything. Except one little thing which really wasn't Lee, it was me almost saying I lo- liked Marshall a lot. Yeah. By the end of it, I wasn't looking Marshall in the eye and he seemed pretty grim.

"I am so, so sorry Fi."

I hugged him. "It's not your fault. Don't ever say that. Just don't let him take control. Please. You'll be gone forever if he takes control."

He hugged me back. "Fi, I can't promise anything. I don't know anything about him. Fi... I'm worried for you."

"For me? Marshall, he doesn't care about me! He cares about getting rid of you! Just be careful, okay? Don't let him win."

Remember the summary?

And how I said saying it's Fiolee would be awkward in this story?

What- do you want me to put Fionna with the guy who is a) trying to get her killed, and b) trying to mess Marshall up inside? If you do, yes, it occured to me to put Fionna with Lee. I am messed up like that. But only because of that weird scene I just gave them. Yeah...

Look, this is a Fiolee story. Fionna and Marshall Lee. She's not going to end up with the bad guy. It's like Dr. Frankenstein's girlfriend running off with the monster instead of the monster killing her. ... (O-O) I had that idea first, by the way.
