To tell you guys the truth... I really like what I did with this story.

Sure, Lee's a little bipolar and inconsistent... and the recycling of characters may have been a little useless...

...but Marshall and Fionna act more like a real couple to me. They fight, they're shy, and they have some awkward moments that neither of them know how to deal with. Sure, some of the stuff is a little weird... but it makes sense- if you were staying in a house, overnight or otherwise with a really uncomfortable couch for you to sleep on, you'd want to crash in the bed, and you wouldn't want your (boy/girl)friend to have to sleep on said couch. I think.

Also, I think this backstory is more developed. Instead of the four of them 'being volunteered' (seriously. What kind of parents would do that?) Finn and Fionna were sent to Aaa and Ooo by accident. Instead of Laurence just blaming everyone and everything for Olivia's pretty unexplained disappearance, he says clearly that his affected mind made him blame Olivia, then progress with total annilhilation.

Unfortunately, if events had transpired the way he had explained in KSA, he would have committed suicide. Also, we delve a bit more into Olivia and Laurence's past- they're not just random characters that pop up out of nowhere. Also, I find the problems a little more realistic and less confusing.

*I look over to the left where the characters of KSA are glaring at me menacingly. I glare back.*

Not that the characters of KSA don't have legitimate problems- they're just not really problems, especially compared to this story. But to be fair- they have a shorter title, and it was the first time some of these characters appeared.

And while it did spawn JS, KSA did not spawn a lot of 'what if?' theories, me putting the characters in 'Dracula' (by Bram Stoker) and several one-shots. All in all, TSCoDMaML makes me work more for creativity, and I like it better. Now if you excuse me, I have to run before the fans of KSA hunt me down and kill me, along with the KSA characters themselves, who have a head start.

*I run away screaming while Olivia shoots fire at me and everyone goes after me except Laurence, who says, 'she has a point you know'. And sits down to watch my TV.*
