Arch was in the training space with Grace. He was having a battle with a Northstar. The virtual titan he had was equipped with X's weapons, but it did not pilot like X did. Since he had customized X, Grace had nothing in her database that matched his output so he got a regular Legion instead. The Northstar was beating him each time he tried to fight back. It was extremely aggravating. Giving up he jumped out of the titan, stuck his middle finger up at Grace and left the training space. He swore he could hear Grace laughing.Seriously? How much emotion did that A.I have? It didn't matter. He woke up in X's cockpit and opened his front hatch, climbing onto the roof he laid on his back and looked up at the sky. It was night time and the inky black sky looked down on him imposingly. Arch had seen this a few times now, planets so far out of sync with the rest of the frontier you could see no stars at all. Not a single- wait what the fuck is that?! Arch leapt to the ground as an orange bullet looking object whizzed past where he had been just seconds before. Arch looked up in surprise as he felt X's hand grab onto him and deposit him in his cockpit.

Sitting in the chair Arch looked around through his visual feed for the attacker. He eventually saw them and almost groaned in agony. It was a bloody Northstar! X pulled the leadwall from its holster and took aim. He pumped out 3 rounds in rapid succession sending 24 arc energy shells at the Northstar. Though to Arch's dismay they fizzled out and faded before they reached the other titan.He heard female laughter from the other titan as it took flight and rained missiles down on X, who in turn began to run... towards them? "X what the hell are you doing?" Arch shouted as the titan ignored the pilot's controls. "Northstar titans are most efficient at long range. My armour can definitely withstand the missiles with minimal damage. If I can get below the titan I can drag them down to the ground. And at that close a range it won't stand a chance." Whilst Arch was listening to the titans explanation he hadn't realized they had gotten right below the Northstar. X jumped up higher than one would think possible and grasped the flying Northstar's leg. With an almighty heave Arch smashed it to the ground. The Northstar got up and desperately tried to take off again but once more X grabbed them and threw them back down. Standing on the titan X thrust his hand through the cockpit hatch and pulled out the pilot, then tossed them aside and drew his sword. Lifting the titan up with his left hand he ran the titan through with the sword in his right. Dropping the body of the dead titan he went over to the pilot and gripped them firmly in his hand.

Arch opened the cockpit and stared at the pilot in X's hand. Patting the titan with a nice comment to him he pulled out his B3 wingman pistol and pointed it in the pilots face. "Tell me what I want to know and you can live." He told them. "Go fuck yourself." Arch sighed. A woman. Great. "Look lady, I just want off this planet. Just tell me where you're based and we'll leave you be." "And why should I help you? You just killed my titan!" "No I made sure the SERE kit stayed intact. Figured it would make you more willing to help our cause." The pilot had no words for this. Though the helmet obscured view of her face Arch was sure she was thinking over her options. "Alright the base is 5 clicks north of here. Keep going and you'll get there."  Arch grinned underneath his helmet, "X verify that please. Is she telling the truth?" The titan shook. "Negative pilot. I have already scanned the SERE kit log. They had traveled 50 miles east from this location. Meaning that they must have re-charged and re-armed at that location." Arch grinned as he heard the pilot swear under her breath. "Thank you very much X. So now what do you recommend is our best course of action is for the pilot?" "Termination." Arch shook his head. "Nah. That's unnecessary. I say we leave her here. Give her the SERE kit and leave her be."

The pilot nodded at this thought. X loosened his grip and let the pilot slip out. She took the SERE kit from Arch and jumped to the ground. Arch watched her run over to her titan and pull out an MGL grenade launcher. She tried to load it as fast as she could but Arch was faster. Using his jump kit he leapt forward at an alarming speed and kicked it to the ground, spinning on his heel he delivered a roundhouse kick to the pilot's stomach sending her into the wreck of her titan. She got up and threw a sluggish punch. Arch stepped aside and cracked his fist against the side of her head. She was unconscious before she hit the ground.
