I look out over the void. I remember Antagonist, my best friend, who I killed in cold blood. Sometimes, I have nightmares where I kill him over and over and over. Not because I want to, but because the readers tell me to.

I finally figured out how to get over the void. We can't fly, but we can glide. Villain and Hero carry up a hang glider that Villain made.

Remember how I mentioned Villain is a mechanic? Also, how he's the child of two gods? Well, he's a god too. God of invention and travel, and he loves to tinker. He has a good amount of control and sin, about sixty in both. As does Hero.

Hero, on the other hand, is the goddess of tradition and the home. She can still hold her own in a fight like any of the gods.

There's also Luke, god of light and electricity; Shawn, god of darkness and change, Tim, god of time, and Tim's wife, Rose, goddess of space.

Tim and Rose are the second most powerful gods. Behind only G.3.K., their son. G.3.K. wasn't the first god, but he's the strongest. That's why he's God of this world.

Most of the gods are some where in this palace, preparing for the Barron. We have to protect the journal at any cost. If the Barron gets it, and his creator is still here, well... there won't be a story left to tell.

Now, I try to cross the void. If I can end the void war, then the Barron's creator will be powerless to erase this story, for it will be over with a happy ending.

The Barron does honestly have a fighting chance. Expessialy with Tim and Rose gone. They've been missing for who knows how long.

Anyways, what matters now is crossing the void. Even if the Barron's creator is still present, if I cross the barrier, maybe the beings there can help me save some of the souls and rebuild. The beings in the True World are much, much stronger than us. There's a good chance they can help.

If the Barron's creator isn't present, then everything will be fine, but we can't risk it. For now, it's best to have a plan B.

I get a running start with the glider and jump. Hero uses wind magic to boost me up. I look at the barrier. I'm gonna make it! I'm really gonna make it! As the barrier gets ever closer, I can fell an aura. A crushing, powerful arua. I am filled with a sense of dread. I keep going forward. Until suddenly, I fell a magical power pulling me down.

I plummet down, mere feet from the barrier. Guese that was to close to flight after all. I fall through and return to the balcony.

"What went wrong?" Hero asks.

"We were to close to flight," I reply, "that's the only thing I can think of."

"Cmon guys," Antagonist explains, "dinner's ready." We begin to head upstairs until I realize it was Antagonist. I blink, and it's just Villain. I decide to ignore the incident. We head upstairs. After this, we must prepare for combat. We must prepare to confront the sins of the readers.
