And They're Gone!

Dear God, the readers are gone. I'm not kidding, they're gone. They've abandoned us. Now it's only him and the vessel. Oh well, guese we should look on the bright side, we can focus on the plot.

Well, get ready, cause this story is gonna get a lot sadder. You guys ready? Here we go!

"Guys?" The vessel asks, "hello?" A deathly silence fills the air. The streets are filled with broken bones and blood stained. The air is filled with the screams of the dying and the smell of smoke. There is nothing but chaos. "Hey Nathan, where are they?"

They're gone. Do you want me to call you by your real name or your title?

"I'm tired of being called 'vessel' and 'Protagonist'," Peter replies, "call me my real name, Peter. Hold up, did you say gone?"

Yeah, they abandoned you. Like they did Antagonist. You're gonna die. "So what do I do?" Peter asks.

First, stop talking to me, you'll confuse the readers. Also, if you are confused, just comment and the author can explain. Anyways, I have something to tell you Peter, you can't save him. Maybe with the readers, if the circumstances were right and you had the journal, you could have defied lore, (that's the laws of this world for you readers) and got a happy ending, but you've already failed. Go home Peter, there's nothing left for you here.

"My friends wouldn't abandon me!" He yells, "they're coming back! Just you wait!" Dammit Peter! You're going to die! Everyone is! Save as many as you can, we don't want a "Black-fire Ascension".

Peter Falls silent, he knows I'm right. Two consecutive "Black-fire Asensions" would make the next world hell. What's Ascension? Well, basically, the readers are judges for their actions, and the world is consumed in fire, making a new world. Anyone with a soul, important character or not, is revived. If the readers act, the next world is always a little better. If the readers make the right choices, there's a good shot at a happy ending to this story. Even if they do everything wrong, the next world is better. However, they're gone. This is the worst possible situation. Thankfully, the readers did read long enough to give us a chance at a better world. The fire works on a spectrum, from black, to grey, to white. If the fire is an Ungodly black, we're in for a bad time.

TrunBONE intensifies.

Shut up.

The readers are gone, I don't give a fuck.

Fine, whatever. Anyways, the last fire was such a color, this is a "Black-fire Ascension," and it makes the next world so much worse. Point is this, Peter is beginning to go home, so now we have to focus on someone else. Someone who still has a vessel, someone who has a sad back story, someone we call, him.
