"Well...Alright." Kirihito replied.

As I walked away from her, I heard Kirihito inhale in a deep breath before letting it out.

Then I watched her walk over to the table Mikage was sitting at, all by himself, and sat down next to him.

The moment at high school (or middle school) when someone you got a big crush on is sitting at a table, during lunch, all by themself?

I gave her a thumbs up, giving her the message that she's doing good so far.

Kirihito looked over at me as she smiled and nodded.

Kirihito's POV 💙

After seeing Yaruichi give me the thumbs up, I took that as a sign that I was doing good so far.

I looked over at Mikage and smiled a bit.

"So..." I began. "...Whatcha doin?"

Mikage snorted and started chuckling in response to my question.

"Eating...What are ya? A 12 year old riolu?" Mikage replied as he started snickering a little.

Okay.

He's got a point.

That's the most dumbest question I've ever asked so far right now.

I blushed a little and started rubbing the back of my head in embarrassment.

"My bad...That came out wrong." I said before twiddling my thumbs a little while I was still blushing.

Mikage chuckled a bit as he smiled.

"It's okay...I know you didn't mean that." Mikage replied.

I chuckled a bit after he said that.

"Thanks." I said.

Then I looked at my paws for a moment.

"Hey, Mikage?" I began.

"Yeah?" He replied.

"What do you like about me?" I asked. "Just out of curiosity..."

Mikage setted the silverware down on his plate and wiped his mouth with the napkin for a second before he looked over at me.

He started to smile as he began thinking about it.

"Hmm...What do I like about you? That's a good question for me..." Mikage murmured.

I blushed a little again as I nodded my head.

"Well...You're cute, which is one of the things I like about you...

You treat everyone here with respect and kindness, including me...

You even help us out with things that are difficult in situations..." Mikage explained as he looked at me.

I nodded.

"...And you really like kids." Mikage finished.

That's true.

All of that from what Mikage said is mostly true.

I like kids because even though they can be annoying and very stressful, they're still cute.

"So...What do you like about me?" Mikage asked, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I wasn't sure what to tell him so I handed him a list of all the things I like about him, that I recently made before it was time for dinner.

It was a pretty long list to make this short.

As Mikage looked over at the list, I saw him smile a chuckle a bit at my responses on the list.

"I had so many things that I liked about you that I wasn't so sure what to say...So, I just made a list of all the things I like about you." I explained to Mikage while he was still looking over at the list.

"That's okay...As long as I know what it is that you like about me, I'm chill with that." Mikage replied.
