Four.

"Scott?" Anna grinned. She felt Garry's arm wrap around her body.

"Hey Scott, come join us." Kyle beckoned on him.

"I'll pass." Scott didn't tear his eyes off Anna. "Anna, what are you doing here?" He frowned.

"What does it seem like I'm doing? I'm having fun." Anna smiled at him.

"Come on let's go." Scott pulled her out of the arm of Garry.

"Hey, don't do that to her." Garry frowned at Scott.

"Garry stay out this, it's none of your business." Scott shunned him.

"It is, I invited her so she's with me. Leave her alone." Garry faced Scott.

"I'm not having this conversation with you." Scott couldn't care less about Garry.

Anna drew away from Scott. "What's this about?" She asked him.

"I need to talk to you." Scott demanded.

"About what?" Anna raised a brow.

"It's clear she doesn't want to talk to you." Garry told Scott.

"Shut up, no one's talking to you." Scott glared at him.

"You're really asking for it, aren't you." He took a step closer, curling his hand into a fist.

"Dudes chill out." Percy tried to reduce the tension.

"Scott stop-" Anna was taken by surprise as Scott swooped her up, throwing her over his shoulder, locking her legs with his arm. "Scott!" She shrieked.

Scott turned to leave.

"What do you think you're doing?! Let go of her!" Garry glared at Scott. He moved to help her but Anna stopped him.

"It's.... It's okay. I've got this." Anna said to him as Scott carried her away. "Will you put me down!" She began hitting his back furiously.

Garry was about going after them when Kyle stopped him. "Dude, you don't want to get involved."
❄❄❄❄

"Put me down!! Scott if you don't put me down, I'll puke all over your shirt this instant!" Anna tried wiggling herself from Scott's grip.

Scott didn't listen to her pleas and screams until he had gotten her away from the crowd, outside.

"Idiot!" Anna angrily punched him in the chest as soon as her feet touched the ground.

"What do you think you're doing here?! Why the fuck did you come here?" Scott couldn't contain his anger.

"Garry invited me, I wasn't even doing anything wrong. I only had one drink and I'm perfectly sober. You shouldn't have done that." Anna too was angry.

"One drink?" He scoffed sarcastically. "Did you see how Garry had his filthy arm around you or you just didn't care about it? You're going home! This instant."

"You're not my dad." Anna rolled her eyes. "I'm going back in there." Anna tried to go around him but Scott pulled her back. "So you can party and I can't?" She swatted his hand away.

"You're not going back in there, I'm taking you home." Scott said. He had calmed himself.

Anna stared at him... "Scott... Garry is a nice guy. I know you're just trying to be protective, but I'm fine."

"I did not like the way he had his hands wandering around your body. It wasn't right." Scott said to her.

"I hardly get noticed by any guy and now that Garry's showing interest, you're being mean." Anna spoke her mind. Sometimes, she just couldn't get where all his protectiveness were coming from.

"I'm protecting you. I don't want them touching you like that, do you understand? Now, I'm going to take you home." Scott said, gazing at her. "I don't want them to take advantage of you, do you understand?"

"Garry isn't taking advantage of me Scott. I'm not a little girl any more." Anna shook her head.

"I promised your dad that I was going to look after you." Scott said to her, trying to make her understand.

Anna sighed. Scott knew how to tame her using her dad. "You win."

Scott heaved, he was relieved. "Did you bring your car?"

"I came in an uber." She said.

"We'll use mine then, later, I'll come back for Rochelle." Scott said, extending his hand.

Anna placed her hand in his....
...............................................................................

Anna had woken up late on a Monday morning, she had over slept. From her room, she could hear Scott honking loudly from outside.

"I'm coming! I'm coming!" She hurriedly pulled out her books from a drawer, dumping everything into her bag.

Anna rushed out of her room, heading for the entrance door.

"Mom, I'm leaving!!" She yelled out reaching for the door.

"Okay sweetie!!! I love you." Dina's voice echoed from somewhere in the house.

"Love you tooo!" Anna dashed out of the house, running towards Scott's car. "Quit with the honking, you're going to wake the entire neighbors." Anna said getting into his car.

"You're late...." He scanned her half combed her. "And you're a mess." He chuckled.

"I'm late?! I can't believe it!! Come on drive!" She said to him.

"Relax, we'll only be a minute or two late." Scott said staring at her. "Your hair is really messy, it's not even properly combed." He reached for her hair, pulling it behind her ear. Scott looked at her bangs which sat on eyelids. "Have you ever wondered how you'd look without bangs, because I have." Scott swept his hand over her bangs, lifting it up away from her face.

He suddenly became silent...

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Anna smiled at him.

Scott nervously cleared his throat. "I think I prefer you without bangs." He said, turning away and placing his hand on the steering wheel.

"You do? But you loved them before now." Anna chuckled.

Scott shrugged, driving off.

Anna opened her locker, putting some of her books inside.

"Anna." Someone called her name as he stood beside her.

Anna turned. It was Garry. "Hey." Anna managed to smile. Scott would surely make a scene if he saw them talking together.

"I was hoping we could talk." Garry's eyes pleaded.

"O-okay." She nodded slowly. "Wait.... About Saturday, I am really sorry about about the whole Scott thing."

Garry gave a weak smile. "Don't worry about it. I've been wondering how you've been, you see, I have been trying to reach you through your phone. But I wasn't able to."

"Really?" Anna took out her phone.

"Yeah. I called severally." He told her.

Anna went through her call logs she didn't find one single missed call, she scrolled down to the last time she talked to Garry and when she clicked on it. It was showing she had blocked his number.

Blocked?! What's the....!!! I didn't block his number... Unless... Then it hit her. Scott had gone through her phone when he was with her Saturday night. It's possible Scott blocked Garry's number from contacting her.

Anna sighed... "It must have been network." She said with a fake big smile. She was going to Kill Scott.

"I thought so." Garry ran his hand through his hair. "I'd like us to hang out later, is that okay with you?" He stared at her, anticipating a reply.

Anna batted her lashes, she was surprised. "Hang out? As in just the two of us?"

"Yeah." He nodded.

"Garry I don't know if..." Anna shrugged. "That's a good idea."

"Why not? It's just a friendly hangout." Garry said to her.

"I'll think about it." She didn't want to get his hopes up.

"I really hope you say yes." He smiled at her.

"I... I should probably go, right now. Thanks for inviting me to your party last time. For the short while I was there, I enjoyed it while it lasted." She admitted to him.

Garry grinned, watching her leave.

Anna walked down the staircase, heading to the chemistry lab. And that's when she thought she heard voices coming from under the stairs. It was two people arguing. She recognized the voices immediately. Rochelle and Scott.

"It was nothing Scott, you're just making a big deal out of it." Rochelle's voice was rather faint.

"I'm making a big deal out of it?!" Scott sounded furious. "You were openly flirting with Tyler and you think I'm overreacting."

"Babe, calm your voice down." Rochelle said in a whisper, like she was afraid someone was going to hear them.

"Don't tell me to calm down Rochelle." Scott said to her.

"Scott, Scott, Scott wait!" Rochelle called out to him.

Anna heard footsteps go down the stairs. She waited for a moment then she heard footsteps again, but this time coming up the stairs.

Rochelle paused seeing Anna... "You must be so happy after eavesdropping." Rochelle's voice was back to the usual irritating tune.

Anna didn't utter a single word. She just stood there, looking at Rochelle.

Rochelle walked up the stairs. "Outta my way weirdo." She said, pushing Anna aside.

Anna stumbled, but she held the railings to keep her from falling. Her first thought was... Scott. When she knew Rochelle wasn't anywhere around, she took out her phone to call Scott but he didn't answer. She decided to go to the chemistry lab since they both had the class together.

Walking into the lab, she strolled over to Scott who was staring into space. Anna tugged her backpack from her back, sitting beside him.

"Scott?" Anna called him amidst the noise her classmates were making. "Scott, are you okay?" Her voice was soft and fragile, she knew he wasn't okay. "What happened?"

Scott sighed.. "It's nothing. I don't want to talk about it." He replied.

"Okay." She nodded. "You'll be fine right?" Anna decided not to tell him about what she heard.

"I'll be fine." Scott answered not sparing her a glance.

"Alright! Take your sit..." The teacher finally entered the lab.
❄❄❄❄

Rochelle and her posses entered into the restroom.

"Are you and Scott going to be okay?" Petunia asked Rochelle.

"Scott adores me ladies, he won't stay angry forever." Rochelle scoffed, feeling confident. She knew Scott really liked her but he should have known that she wasn't the one-man girl, she loves attention and who gives it to her is who she will go to.

Just because Scott had seen her sitting on another guy's lap, he was mad? Ha! What about the ones she did in secret? Yeah, she liked Scott but not as much as he liked her.

"He was really furious this time Rochelle, you know he made you promise to stay away from Tyler before." Esta, who was more sensible than the other two said.

Rochelle frowned.. She remembered how infuriated Scott was. Rochelle knew she still needed Scott by her side, if not to annoy Anna but for the material things she acquired from him. He was from a very wealthy family, she knew that. She exploited him.

"You're right. I should really be careful." Rochelle was tired of their break up and make up.

"Who's the idiot that forgot her backpack?" Petunia said pointing at a black fancy backpack on the sink counter.

"Where?" Rochelle asked.

"Over there." Petunia said walking over to it, bringing the backpack to Rochelle.

Rochelle shrugged. "Who knows?" She turned to the mirror to primp herself up.

Esta took the backpack from Petunia. She checked around the backpack. "But it sure looks familiar." She caught hold of a tag, hanging beside the backpack. It was a blue tag, with the name ANNA boldly written. "Oh! Now I remember where I've seen this before. It's for Anna." She said to the two girls.

Petunia turned to Esta but Rochelle's brain hadn't clicked. "Which Anna?"

"Anna? As in Scott's Anna." Esta answered Petunia in a duh tone.

Rochelle abruptly turned back to Esta. "What?"

"It's Anna Windsor." Esta repeated.

Rochelle immediately grabbed the backpack from Esta, turning it over. "Oh yeah," realization hit it. "It is Anna's backpack."

"Why did she drop it here?" Esta asked.

"Silly, your question should be what's inside the bag." Rochelle opened up the zip, peeping into the backpack.

"I don't think there will be anything fun to see." Petunia shrugged.

Rochelle pulled out two books from the bag. "Books," she pulled out another. "More books." Rochelle scoffed. "More bo-" Rochelle paused when she had seen a girlish, pinkish book. "Wait." She said, putting other books into Anna's backpack apart from the pinkish book.

"Is that what I think it is?" Petunia gasped looking at the book.

Rochelle mischievously smirked. "I just found her book of secrets." She said waving the book at the girls.

"Well open it, hurry!" Petunia was excited.

"It'll be bunch of lame stuff, nevertheless, open it." Esta said not really enthusiast about reading Anna's 'boring' diary.

Rochelle opened it... "Let's see... AhHa! Dear diary...." Rochelle began to read the book.

Meanwhile......

"Dammit! I can't believe I left my backpack in the restroom. Dammit!" Anna facepalmed herself. "I'm so stupid." She said, walking down the hallway.

She had gone to the restroom and had forgotten her backpack when the principal had called her through the telecom to come to his office immediately. She had raced to his office, forgetting her backpack.

"Anna! Where are you heading?" Scott asked a distance away.

"To the restroom. I forgot my backpack." She yelled out to him, before leaving.

Anna pushed the door open that's when the three girls looked up to see her. They were all smirking at her but she didn't know why until she noticed the book Rochelle was holding.

For a moment, Anna thought her heart stopped beating. Oh no.

"Give it back." Anna tried to snatch it from Rochelle but Rochelle was faster. She moved back before Anna could grab it.

"It's right here." Rochelle teased her.

Anna couldn't believe what was happening, how she have been so careless?! She never brought her diary to school... Unless... Had she mistaken packed along her diary into her backpack when she was rushing to leave her room in the morning? Her diary was in the same drawer with her book... Oh no. Her heart was racing so fast that she panicked for a while that Rochelle might have read every single thing.

"You're a such a bitch Anna. I knew, I knew it. You like Scott." Rochelle knew already, there was no need to ask for confirmation.

"Give it to me Rochelle." Anna managed to speak.

"No." Rochelle glared at her.

"I want it back." Anna glanced that the other girls. She was outnumbered.

"Come and get it." Rochelle chuckled. "I knew you were into Scott because I see the way you look at him, even though he's too blind to see it. You even wrote about me, but guess what, the feeling is mutual. I fucking hate everything about you. You stupid fucking weirdo." She sneered.

"Did you really think Scott's gonna fall for some ugly duckling? I knew you were stupid but never thought you were that stupid." Rochelle insulted without an ounce of pity.

The other two girls giggled like idiots.

"I really pity your mirror, I wonder how it hasn't cracked from looking at a beastie like you." Rochelle sniggered... "Do you know why Scott chose me? Because I'm gorgeous and you're just a gargoyle. Scott can never like someone as unimportant as you are and I'm pretty sure he'd choose me over you, you ask him." Rochelle smirked. She was just so full of herself. "You know what you are to him? His shadow. He only puts up with you because he's yet to grow up. But I'll make sure that the remaining friendship you're holding onto will fade, mark my words Anna. Scott's mine, I'm not going to share him with you."

Anna stared at Rochelle, listening to the hurtful things she said. She wasn't going to cry because some girl was belittling her? Never! Anna wasn't going to show weakness.

"Just wait till I tell Scott about this. I can't wait to see the disgust on his face when he learns that you like him. You know in your heart that he's going to reject you." Rochelle taunted her. "I'm going to tell him."

Anna's eyes widened... "You won't do that." Maybe Rochelle was bluffing. Something about what Rochelle said made Anna scared. Was Rochelle right that Scott would choose Rochelle over her?

"Oh try me, I will." Rochelle laughed. "But you know, I have an idea. I won't tell on you if you help me."

"Help you with what?" Anna asked. It wouldn't hurt to listen to what Rochelle had to say... Right?

"You know Scott listens to you most of the time, no arguing about that. So I need you to convince him that I am the perfect girlfriend for him. Make him believe you've had a change in heart on his relationship with me, so that he won't doubt me anymore." Rochelle said frowning at her.

"Why would I do that? I know the real you and I don't want Scott getting hurt when he gets to find out what you've been doing under his nose." Anna told her.

Rochelle threw the diary at Anna's feet. "You'll tell him Anna or you can kiss your dangling friendship with Scott goodbye. I'm the reason you and Scott aren't the same as before, imagine what I could do if you don't help me. I don't play nice." Rochelle told her.

Anna glanced down at her book and back to Rochelle.

"What's it gonna be?" Rochelle asked, narrowing her eyes at Anna.
