Chapter 26 || Maybe, It's Our Fate

Anaisha was at last ready for her date with Kabir. Though it was just a date, she had this feeling something special was gonna happen tonight. Because of that she had spent one long hour in getting ready. Finally it's done! This must be the longest time she took to get ready. Kabir must really appreciate this.

She for the last time brushed her hairs and put on perfume. Once then she checked her phone for time. Kabir had told her that he'll pick her up at 8 pm, 'He must be on his way,' as it was 7:45.

She looked at her reflection in the mirror and blushed a little. She was wearing an off shoulder, white colour, knee length dress. He always complimented her that she looked really gorgeous in his favourite colour with that cute blush on her cheeks!

She checked herself for the last time and headed downstairs where her dad was sitting on the sofa in the living area, reading his file. Arnav looked at his daughter who was flashing him her brightest smile. No matter how much tired his was or how much stress he had about his work, his daughter's one smile had the ability to brighten up his day!

He kept his file aside and complimented his angel, "Well my little girl is looking really gorgeous today. Kabir must gift me something for letting him date the most beautiful girl in this world!"

Anaisha blushed harder when she heard her dad say Kabir's name. She had changed a lot since Kabir became a part of her life. Like she blushed a lot more now than she ever did before.

She sat beside her dad and said cheerfully, "Thanks a lot dad! Well the credit of my good looks goes to you and mom!"

"Well that's true. You got my good looks and brains! Your mom's craziness and talkativeness are the only traits you got from her. I'm glad for it! But your mom, tch won't believe me, she thinks you're like her," saying so Arnav chuckled and was joined by Anaisha.

"Oh really Mr. Gujral? You are the world's most intelligent man except for the fact that you don't know how to knead dough for Rotis or if we have to put water in potatoes or potatoes in water, right?" said a highly irked Khushi. Her husband purposely does this all the time. He never missed a chance to tease her. And then when she retorted back, he would say that she fights a lot with him.

Arnav at first got a bit startled by hearing Khushi's voice but then replied with a smirk on his face, "Yeah right! At least I know what I am doing unlike who half the time have no idea what you're doing."

Khushi got even more angry than before, and replied in a sarcastic tone, "Haan haan, you always know what you're doing that's why when we went for our vacations to Australia you forgot your passport at home and if that wasn't even enough you even forgot your own son in the mall!"
And so it went on. They both got engrossed in bickering with each other, behaving like those college students they were when they fell in love with each other.
Aarav and Advay, who just returned from their works, kept their bags aside and stood beside Annie to watch their parents act all childish. While their parents were bantering, they just chuckled seeing them behave like kids.

After few minutes, they saw Aarush come out of the kitchen with popcorns, followed by Leher who brough cold coffee for them. Aarav and Advay took cold coffee, while Annie and Aarush munched on popcorns along with Leher, thoroughly enjoying the crazy but cute fight of their parents.

Arnav and Khushi kept bickering with each other. They were completely engrossed in their banters and didn't notice their kids, who were enjoying their silly fight with popcorns and cold coffee and occasionally fueling their fights. Gosh, if you get to witness their funny but cute fights then probably you won't need shows like Big Boss etc.

While the fight was still going on, the doorbell rang and Leher went to answer it. She opened the door and saw Kabir standing there. She led him inside the house where the others were.

Kabir, who came there to pick Annie, was surprised to see her parents arguing with each other. He went to stand beside Annie and asked her in an unsure voice, "Are you not gonna stop them?"

Annie smiled at him and said nonchalantly, "Na na! They'll stop in some time. Mom will walk away to her room and Dad will go after her to pacify her. Don't worry this is an usual thing. In fact when they don't fight, that is something to be worried about!" She giggled as she said that and Kabir smiled at her.

And just as Annie said that, Khushi scowled at Arnav and turned to leave for her room when she saw Kabir. She smiled at him and then giving a deadly glare to Arnav left for her room being followed by her husband who gave a sheepish grin to Kabir, as if saying, 'Soon this will be your future but you'll love it anyway'.

Annie looked at Kabir and said smirkingly, "Like I said!"

Kabir just gave out a chuckle. He then looked at her in his favourite colour dress and whispered in her ears, "You look really mesmerising. And I can't be more happy because I know that you're made just for me."

While the others were laughing over the dramatic fight of their parents, Aarush saw Annie and Kabir talking to each other in low voice and he signaled Leher to tease them. Leher winked at him and motioned him to go ahead.

He smiled and said teasingly, "Bhabhi don't you think, these days some people are going on too many dates. Amazing isn't it?"

Leher too joined Aarush and said agreeing with him, "You are right Aarush. I think Aarav should take some lessons from Kabir. He plans such lovely dates for Annie. Even your brother never planned such romantic dates for me! I never thought Kabir will turn out to be so romantic by heart, haina Kabir?"

Kabir blushed lightly, listening to Leher's remarks and said shyly, "It's just your sister-in-law who brings out the romantic person in me. Even if there was anyone else in my place then he too would've planned such dates and surprises for her."

Anaisha quickly replied, "No, no one can be in your place or will ever take that place in my life. And talking about the dates and surprises then also no one is better than you!"

Aarush and Leher chirpied in unison, "Ohho!" Aarav and Advay just shook their heads and smiled. Aarav looked his wife and brother, who were nowhere in the mood to stop teasing Kabir. So he thought to help his friend.

Aarav shook his head, and silencing his wife and brother, said, "You guys should go now or else they'll keep teasing you both!"

Advay agreed with him and added, "Yeah Bhai's right. Have fun guys!"

Kabir nodded and said, "Thank you!" And motioned Annie to go with him.

While Kabir and Anaisha were moving out of the door, they heard Aarush say, "At least get us the dessert!" They smiled and went to his car.

They got settled in his car and Kabir drove through the gates of her house. They just kept stealing glances at each other and smiling, both of them just too nervous and happy to speak anything. After some minutes, Kabir turned on the radio and the song, 'Jeena Jeena' was playing.

Kabir increased the volume and said, "You know I never liked bollywood movies and songs but since I started dating you, I've turned into a romantic song lover. Don't laugh I'm serious. And this song is one of my most favourite songs!"

Annie giggled and teased him, "Really? I must say, someone's being too romantic!"

Kabir grinned and replied, "Yeah, and the credit goes to you for this. By the way you know which is my favourite line from this song?"

Anaisha raised her eyebrows and gave him a questioning look. Kabir looked at her and sang the lines along the song, "Aasmaan mila zameen ko meri, aadhe aadhe pure hai hum! Tere naam pe meri zindagi likh di mere humdum! (My land has got your sky and I'm incompletely complete. I've named my life for you my love)"

Anaisha blushed hard after listening to his favourite lines. Gosh, he was so in love with her and that was evident with all these changes in him.

Kabir looked at with all the love in his eyes and asked her, "Do I really make you blush that much? I'm mean you never were one of those girls who would blush even on a small compliment!"

Anaisha looked at him and said, "You are the only man in my life who can me make blush this hard. Even your name is enough for me to blush. I can't put it in words how much you affect me Kabir. You know right now my favourite song is, 'Love Me Like You Do' by Ellie Goulding and there's this line in this song, 'Only you can set my heart on fire!' I guess this line was able to explain how much affected I am by you."

Kabir looked at her as she spoke and his desires again came back to him. Honestly her presence had became really intoxicating for him. He had been trying really hard to control his desires around her because he didn't want to do something which would hurt her.

He wanted to go ahead with her in their relationship, but at the moment there were many other things which were more important. So he looked at the road ahead to distract himself from his fantasies of her and concentrated on his driving.

Anaisha glanced at him, and understood what happened to him. Because she too wanted him in the same way he wanted her but she doesn't want to go ahead with it now. As, if they went ahead in their relationship, then it might become even more difficult for her to take her decision, and almost impossible to go away from him.

They both remained silent for the rest of the journey. Soon they reached their destination. It was the same hotel, where they had been before for their previous dates. Kabir parked his car, came out. He then helped her out of the car, held her hand and led her inside the hotel. The same hotel where he came in the afternoon to make the arrangements for their date.

When they reached inside, the entire restaurant was empty and only two of them were there. Anaisha looked at Kabir, who was in return looking at her. She asked with confusion written all over her face, "Umm Kabir did we came here on a wrong day? I mean except us no one else is here...so I was thinking maybe the restaurant is closed today!"

Kabir chuckled and replied, "Of course not Annie. It's nothing like that. The reason only we are here, is that, I've booked the entire restaurant for us because I wanted it to be just us and no one else here."

Anaisha looked at him and then nodded her head after understanding his explanation. He led her to their table and pulled out the chair for her. He helped her sit and then got himself seated in the chair opposite to her. Anaisha was about to say something when Kabir shushed her and said, "Tonight I will be the one who'll speak and you'll be the one listening to me!"

Anaisha again tried to say something but he again made her silent. Just then her phone buzzed. She checked her phone and saw a message from his mother. The message said,

Thank you so much dear! Because of you my family is one once again. I don't know how to tell you how grateful I am for this to you. I'm indebted to you for all my life. Now I just want one thing, you as my daughter-in-law! Thanks a lot sweetheart!
And by the way, Kabir knows everything, right from that day three months to other continuous meets. He's aware that you helped me and Karan in sorting out our issues. Yesterday, me and Karan had told him everything and asked for his forgiveness which he granted us. I know you're wondering why I haven't told you this earlier, but it's because of Kabir. He made me and Karan promise that we won't inform you about all that happened yesterday. This is why I haven't told you anything before. Acha now I should end this message or else I'll spoil the surprise.
Enjoy your date! :)
Love
Shilpa!

After reading the message, Anaisha looked at Kabir with fear in her eyes. Did he was angry with her for this? Why hadn't he told her this in the morning only? Why did he restrain his parents from telling her that everything's fine in his family? Was he not happy with this?

Her head felt like it would explode with all these question. Gosh she'll faint if she kept thinking. Already she worked up for her PG. and now this was scaring her badly.

While she was thinking and calculating the situation, Kabir held her hand and looked her in the eye. He didn't look upset or angry so maybe he wasn't!

He realized that she was contemplating the situation and squeezed her hand to get her attention. Holding her left hand in both of his hands, he said, "I guess that must be my mother's message informing you about our family's current state, right?"

She nodded at him in surprise, still not able to digest the fact that finally her mission was accomplished, atleast.

He continued, "I told her not to tell you this because I wanted to tell you this on my own but then I thought that maybe you should get an idea about this date. So I told her to message you. What? Don't be shocked okay?"

Anaisha tried to say something but Kabir didn't let her, instead he said, "How did you manage to do all this without even me knowing about this? You were in touch with my parents all this time and I had no idea about this, why? Why did you hid this from me? Do you know what bothers me the most is, why did you did this for me? I mean c'mon, we've been dating for just six months, and it's hard for me to believe that you've done something, which I was unable to do all my life. And on the top of that not once you let me know that you're doing something like this for me."

Anaisha looked at him with tears in her eyes and said softly, "I did this because I love you. I truly love you Kabir. I want you to get all the happiness you deserve and without your parents by your side, your happiness won't be complete. So that's why I did this. I know you always said that you were over your past but the truth is Kabir, you were still mourning over your sister's death even after all this years. And the only way to make you completely get over your past to make amends with it, which could never be possible without parents.

"And also because I knew how much your parents loved you and how much guilty they both felt for what they did. At least by doing this for you, their guilts have reduced and they feel better. Your parents love you a lot Kabir. Though this won't bring Samyra back but at least wherever she might be, she'll be happy to see that her family is living happily. And then, I don't want your future to be tainted by your past Kabir, because you know well our past has the capacity to either make us or break us, and in your case, your memories were breaking you. I want your present and future to be filled with only happiness and love, not even a single drop of pain in your life. And I know you will soon learn to let go of your pain, with your parents."

Kabir looked at her with moist eyes. How could someone love him so much? He, who wasn't even a bit like her dream man. How could she understand him so well when he didn't understand his own self so much? And he knew she was right, if he wanted to make a life with her then he had to let go of his past, and he will do that!

He finally spoke again after a few minutes of silence, "I really can't thank you enough for all the things you have done to me. I never imagined that I'll find someone who'll go to this extent to bring happiness in my life. You really are a blessing of God to me. I must've done some really good deeds in my life that I got you. No matter how hard I try I can never pay this debt. So I want to give you something. Will you accept it?"

Anaisha gave him a questioning look and mumbled lovingly, "What else you want to give me Kabir? Your love is enough for me."

Kabir gave her a disapproving look and said disagreeingly, "No I don't think so Anaisha. I haven't really done even a bit of what you have done for me. You made my life worth living, and I love for that. And my gift, I don't want a no from you, so please!"

Anaisha smiled at him and said defiantly, "Acha okay, I'll won't say no for the gift, I'll accept it. Will you please show it now? I can't take the suspense anymore!"

Kabir smiled blushingly and took out a small square dark blue velvet box. He opened it and took out the beautiful diamond studded platinum ring which was embedded in it. It was the same ring he was carrying with himself for last few weeks, his grandmother's ring, but never got the chance to give it to her but yesterday he finally got the perfect opportunity.

Anaisha looked at him with a mix of astonishment and awe in her eyes as he opened the box and took out the ring. He took her hand and put the ring in her ring finger. He then kissed her hand and said in a love filled voice, "It's a promise ring, not an engagement ring. This ring signifies my promise to you that I'll love you till my last breathe. You'll be the only girl in my life and I'll always be by your side in every situation.

"I promise to always keep you happy and will try my best to never hurt you or upset you. I'm truly, madly and deeply in love with you. Thank you for filling my life with so much happiness. I hope you appreciate this ring and my promises and know that all the promises I made to you, I will fulfill them, whatever happens. And I want to add one more promise to you, that soon I'll completely let go of my past, just for you and the efforts that you have put I bridging the gap between me and my parents. Our present and future will never be eclipsed by my painful memories, I'll see that."

Anaisha was left spellbounded by his gestures! At first she thought he was proposing her but instead he was promising her a lifetime of happiness and love. It wasn't a marriage proposal, it was a promise of love, trust and togetherness, which in every sense was bigger than a marriage proposal. 'Awww! That's so sweet of him!'

Anaisha got up from her seat and went towards Kabir. Kabir got up from his seat as well. She went upto him and hugged him tight. She was still hugging him, when she whispered in his ear, "Thank you so much Kabir. I genuinely loved your gestures. I promise you too that I'll always be with you and will keep all the pain away from you."

A few minutes later they broke the hug and got seated on their chairs again. Anaisha looked at her ring and said, "It's just like you Kabir, simple and sweet. It's beautiful!"

Kabir smiled shyly and muttered to himself, "But not as beautiful as my angel!" Anaisha heard him and blushed.

Soon after the dinner was served, and they talked about the reconciliation of Thapar as they were having dinner. While talking Kabir said teasingly, "You know my parents said that my girlfriend is quite intimidating and dominating. Well I can't deny that you know after all you are your father, Arnav Gujral's daughter, who's well known for his temper and attitude."

Anaisha frowned and replied with fake anger, "Haww Kabir, how can you even say that? I know your parents must've never said that, you're just making it up. That's very mean of you!" She picked up a hand cloth and threw it at him, who dodged it and grinned at her. Seeing him grin she too giggled and they continued with their dinner.

As they both were done, Kabir paid the bill and left the hotel with her to their favourite place, the old public garden near his home. It was a ritual for them to go to that garden and have ice cream while talking. They have been following this ritual right from their second date and enjoyed it too.

Anaisha went and sat on the swing while Kabir went to buy ice cream from the old seller who by now well recognised these two. While sitting alone, Anaisha looked at her ring, and suddenly felt guilty.

She still hadn't told Kabir anything about her scholarship. And she knew it was wrong. After what happened today, it was unfair to hide such big thing from Kabir. She closed her eyes. She really needed to tell Kabir the truth now. She couldn't't hide this from him anymore. He had the right to know everything about her scholarship. And she knew he would want her to take the offer and go ahead with her dream, even though it'll upset him. But first she should tell him everything and then worry about his reaction. Yes she will tell him everything. She opened her eyes with determination and practiced what she'll tell Kabir.

She was thinking, when Kabir snapped his fingers in front of her. He came to towards her after buy ice creams and found her lost in her thoughts. Having no choice, he snapped his fingers to get her attention. He knew well what she was thinking and decided to talk it out with her.
As she came out of her thoughts and looked at him, Kabir spoke while passing her ice cream, "What happened Annie? Where are you lost?"

Anaisha fiddled with her ice cream cone and said, "Kabir I want to tell you something....actually.."

Before she was continue, Kabir interrupted her and said, "You want to tell me about your PG scholarship, right?"

Anaisha was shocked hearing what Kabir said. How did he know about her Scholarship? To the best of her knowledge, except the interns, Dr. Rai and Dr. Mehra, no one else was aware of this. Then how did Kabir come to know about this?

With puzzlement evident on her face, she asked him, "How did you get to know about this?"

Kabir replied with utmost seriousness, "Does this matters right now? I think no! What's important at this moment is that, I wasn't aware about it but Nikhil was!"

"Not all of my friends know about this, not even my family! I was going to tell you this," explained Anaisha with hesitation.

"Yeah right! When were you going to share this with me, when you already had denied this scholarship or when everyone else was aware of it?" Kabir grumbled in a loud voice. He turned his face away from her direction and stared at the dark road.

He wasn't supposed to sound so rude and angry but he couldn't help it as the images of the day flashed infront of him when he saw her with Nikhil talking about her PG about which Kabir had no idea.

Anaisha flinched at his loud voice. She knew she had hurt him but his anger was scaring her. She gulped a lump in her throat and choked her words, "No, I d-didn't s-share it w-with y-you earlier b-because I k-knew what would you say. I was supposed to tell you this now but you got to know it before I could tell you. I didn't m-mean to hurt you Kabir, it's just t-that I wasn't s-strong enough and didn't have the h-heart to tell you about it." Tears started rolling down her eyes.

Aarush was right, she should've told him everything. She sensed from his voice that he was hell angry on her and the way he turned his face away from her, confirmed her doubt. "Kabir, I'm sorry! Please forgive me! I didn't mean to hurt you! I am sorry!" cried Anaisha.

Kabir heard her cracking voice and instantly looked at her. Oh no! This wasn't what he wanted to do. He didn't mean to make her cry. Damn it! He wanted to help her make a right choice but in his jealousy he ended up making her cry. Great! Didn't I just promise her some time back that he won't hurt her, then what the hell did he do just now?

He quickly moved closer to her and cupped her face, soothingly speaking to her, "Don't cry sweetheart. Please! I'm the one who's supposed to apologise. Please stop crying baby. In my jealousy I just lost my mind and got angry. I really didn't mean to be mad at you. I'm sorry!"

He wiped her tears with his thumb and kissed her cheeks. He made her drink water and sat beside her on the garden bench.

He wrapped his arms around her and said encouragingly, "Baby I know you're confused about this but you got to take a decision because this is about your entire life. This scholarship is once in a lifetime thing. You're lucky that you have been selected for this. You should accept this scholarship."

Anaisha looked at him and said unsurely, "I know that well but I'm just confused. I know this scholarship will take me a step closer to my dream but it will also take me away from you. Will you be able to live without me for three years? Will I able to go, knowing well how torturous these three years would be for you and me?"

Kabir cupped her face and said firmly, "C'mon Anaisha we are not kids okay. It's not like we won't be able to meet each other in those three years. And you're a strong girl. You have stayed without your family for five years then why are you so confounded now?"

Anaisha, who was looking at Kabir till then averted her gaze to the floor and said dully, "Because that time you weren't a part of my life. I mean we are still in the initial phase of our relationship. Will we be able to survive a distance relationship? Tell me, will we be able to control our emotions and concentrate on our lives?"

Kabir kept silent for few minutes. He knew it would be very hard for him to live without her. He was always worried about her and panics even if she sneezes. Her presence brought peace to him. She was his calming effect, the reason why he felt blessed. How would he manage himself when she won't be around him? But he could not be selfish now. She had done a lot of things for him and it was his turn to do the same for her.

After a gap of few minutes, he said softly, "Look baby, I know it's getting harder for you because of our relationship but honestly, your dreams and career matters more than anything. This scholarship is really an awesome chance to enhance your career. Your dreams are much more important than this relationship of ours, atleast at this phase of your life. And then coming back to your question, your brother and sister-in-law too were in a distance relationship and they survived it and are now happily married.

"Even Aarush and Zaina too were in a distance relationship and I don't think anything wrong happened to their relationship. I love you Anaisha, and even if I have to wait for thousand years for you, I would. Three years are nothing Annie. Initial phase or not, my love for you is strong enough to wait for you and I really believe the same goes for you. I know it will be hard to get used to not having you around all the time but that's nothing in comparison to your happiness when your dreams will come true. And hence I have faith in our relationship and love that we will survive this Anaisha." Kabir kissed her forehead and looked at her for her response.

More tears came into her eyes after hearing Kabir's answer. She knew he's right. She so wanted to take this scholarship up but the thought of going away from him made her have second thoughts. But Kabir was right, she should go ahead with the scholarship. Their love's strong enough to withstand these three years.

She looked at him and prompted, "Maybe you are right Kabir. Maybe I should take this scholarship up! But are you sure we'll be able to survive this long distance? Why don't you relocate to London with me?"

Kabir squeezed her hand and said disapprovingly, "Anaisha don't talk like kids now. You know it's said easy than done. I have patients to take care of, some of them are in critial state and will take a long time to recover. But I'll come to meet you once in a while and you'll also come on vacations, right? And surviving this long distance relationship, then of course we will. Nothing is impossible Annie when you have a strong will to make it work."

Annie smiled at him while wiping her tears. Kabir stood up from his place with his hands folded against his chest.

"I've heard that distance makes heart grow fonder, so maybe after these three years, I might get even more love and kisses from someone who's busy crying now, not even thinking about her boyfriend who so upse......," Kabir said with a pout. The environment was quite emotional and serious and he thought to make it light.

As soon as he said that, he felt her lips against his. She knew he was telling it stop from crying but how could she resist him when he looked so cute?

Kabir kept his hands on her waist pulled her closer to himself while Annie's hand found their way around Kabir's neck. This kiss was different, it was like as if they both were promising each other that they'll stick to their relationship even if it meant facing a temporary separation.

They broke apart for air and again resumed kissing each other. Kabir knew he had to stop or else he might just go with the flow of his emotions, yet he was unable to think anymore as the kiss occupied his otherwise sorted mind.

But he snapped out of it. He gazed at Anaisha who was blushing the darkest shade of red. He kissed her forehead and hugged her. He wanted to fill his mind with her memories only so that he could survive those three years which were awaiting them.

They finished their ice cream and Anaisha narrated about the day she got to know about the scholarship. Soon they left the park as it was late and got settled in his car. Kabir started his engine and looked at Anaisha who was still blushing hard.

He glanced at her and then said with a teasing smile, "Well Annie honestly if you're gonna blush like this then after our marriage I'm pretty sure you'll have permanent blush on your cheeks!"

Annie blushed harder with his words. He's making it hard for her to control herself. But how could she let him tease her?

So she replied drily, "Marriage? But Kabir when did I said that I'll marry you?"

"Well you promised me that a while a back," Kabir said smirkingly.

"What? I don't think so," Anaisha replied and crossed her arms against her chest.

'She really doesn't remember?' Kabir pointed at her ring and exclaimed, "Well that ring is a promise ring! So that means we both have promised to be together always. And so you promised to marry me!"

Anaisha smiled at him and said mockingly, "But it's not an engagement ring. And what if I don't wanna marry you?"

Kabir smirked again at her and said, "Then I'm going to use my gun!"

"To kill yourself?" Anaisha exclaimed.

"Nope, the one who'll try to come between you and me. If you'll get married, then your groom will be me only. And then, you'll become my kids' mother, and that too that chubby cute mother," Kabir said with his possessiveness filled voice and winked at her. He would never let anything take her away from him! Anything!

They reached her home. She gave him a quick peck on his cheeks and moved out of the car. While she was moving out of the car, she heard Kabir say, "Anaisha when you inside, go and tell your family about your scholarship and your decision to accept it. They'll be very happy and proud of you!"

"Are you sure? Are you happy and proud of me?" Anaisha asked with curiousity. She still was slightly unsure about her decision. Though Kabir made her understand that they'll be fine and will survive this long distance relationship but still..

Kabir smiled at her and said assuringly, "Why won't I be happy and feel pride in you? I'm very happy for you Anaisha and feel proud of you! My girlfriend is getting such a big opportunity that only a few fortunate people get. I always have been proud of you."

Anaisha gave him a big ear-to-ear grin and said gleefully, "Thank you so much! I promise I'll make you even more proud of me! Good night!"

"Good night!" Kabir wished while starting his car engine. He was about to drive when he felt a knock on his side's window. He looked at the window and saw her standing there. He rolled his window down and asked with worry, "What happened Anaisha? Why haven't you moved inside?"

"Wo Kabir I wanted to tell you something," Anaisha said, fidgeting with her fingers.

"Anything serious?" Kabir asked with concern.

Anaisha smiled looking down and said, "Wo...actually Kabir...wo...I love you!" She giggled and ran inside.

Kabir chuckled at her childish antic and replied back, "I love you too!" He drove out of her gates after she went inside her house.

They both knew that it won't be easy surviving a long distance relationship but they will try their best to make it work. Kabir knew well how much the scholarship meant for Anaisha. And he would never get in between her and her dreams. Her dreams are always more important than their relationship and him. So he made her accept this. He can wait for his entire life for her.

Kabir's confidence in their relationship made her go ahead with her dream. Seeing his faith in their love, she knew they will survive this. They will surely survive it!
