 Vigil arrived home after a fight with some dragons that wanted to kill his family.Moonshine had also been injured and tired out,too.Stormchaser and Duskor were at school today.Vigil saw the egg shake and crack,but dark purple lightning was crackling around the egg.Then the egg's shell exploded.Out came a healthy baby NightWing---wait,something was wrong.The baby NightWing's eyes were pure red.And it had dark purple fire spewing from its mouth.The baby attacked Vigil who was still too tired and the baby bit into the jugular vein on Vigil's neck,which made Vigil die from blood loss.The baby scratched up his mother to the point Moonshine had cuts all over her.Duskor arrived and saw his father dead on the ground and his mother being attacked by his newest brother.Duskor thought,'Little bro,Mom,forgive me...' and slammed his tail into his younger sibling.The baby NightWing eeped and dark blue slits appeared in his eyes.The baby NightWing's eyes widened at the blood on his talons.He(The baby NightWing)crawled over to Moonshine and layed his head against her.Moonshine had a sad smile and said,"His name is...Shade..." And then she breathed no more.Shade looked up and said his first word ever,"......Momma?"
