Russia and North J were sitting on the couch at Russia's house, watching T.V
"When does your dad get home?" North J asked Russia thought for a moment "any minute now" Russia said and as if on cue, the front door opened and Russia stood up "Hey dad, North J popped in for a visit-" he stopped himself when he saw America with his father, Russia froze "what's wrong?" North J asked as he walked over to Russia, when he saw America, he froze too, just like Russia had. USSR noticed the pause and spoke up "he's here to help, Russia, it's alright" Russia blinked, snapping out of his shock, he walked over to his father, his eyes now filled with worry
"what happened?"
Russia asked as he and America helped USSR sit on the couch, North J went to grab the medkit from the bathroom. "I was lead into a trap by Japan Empire, she tricked us into splitting up," USSR said as America stood up "where is the medkit?" America asked "North J went to get it," Russia told America, who growled at his name "I don't trust him, and you shouldn't either!" America said to Russia, he then turned to USSR.

"How can you trust him? after what he did"

"I'm aware of what happened, Merica"

"What?" Russia asked, looking between the two adults "what did he do?" he asked again "it doesn't matter Russ" North J said, carrying the medkit Russia turned to look at him "it's in the past, isn't Meri?" North J said while smirking, America glared at North J as he walked towards the group. America had a dangerous look in his eyes "she isn't here to stop me this time" America said, North J stopped and looked at America. He could see the fire in America's eyes as he swung at him.
"North J!" Russia yelled as North J fell to the floor, Russia turned to his father, with fright and worry clear in his eyes.
"you said!-"
"Let them sort it out. This has nothing to do with us," USSR said calmly. North J threw the medkit at America, giving himself time to stand up. America caught it and tossed it onto the couch beside USSR before walking towards North J, who stood his ground.

"I heard your sister is hanging out with Germany, now I know where to find her," America said calmly, scaring North J. "Leave her out of this, she didn't do anything," North J said to hide his fear "you know that's not true and I know you'll do anything to keep her safe" America smirked, he knew what he was doing, North J glared at him "What do you want" America took a step forward "I want you both on my side, leave your mother and fight with us against her" America said, North J stood in shock "and if I say no?" North J asked, America's smirk fell "then UK will take you. By force" North J swallowed his fear and glared at America again.
"so what will it be?" America asked the small child "a no from me, I will never turn on my family!" North J said as he walked away, America got angry and grabbed North J by the arm.

The door quickly swung open then shut again, leaning against the door was a panting South J with bruises covering her arms, the door was kicked open and South J fell to the floor, now with the UK standing over her "兄!"(brother!) South J yelled, fearful "シスター!"(sister!) North J yelled desperately as he tried to free himself from America "leave her alone!" North J yelled at the UK, who picked South J up. She hissed at the UK and tried scratching at his arms, Russia's eyes widened as stood up and ran over to the UK and took South J from him, quickly looking over her injured arms, North J sighed in slight relief when seeing Russia help his little sister. South J tried pushing Russia away "家に帰りたい"(I want to go home) South J said quietly as she gave up, Russia looked at North J for a translation. "she wants to go home," North J said, "can't she speak English?" America asked with a puzzled look, North J shook his head "not at all, no"

A dog barked loudly and South J's eyes lit up "ドイツ犬!"(the german dog!) everyone looked at North J for translation, North J glanced around the room, his loyalties thinning, he closed his eyes and said "the german dog" America let go of him in shock and looked at USSR, who was now patched up and standing. "what do we do?" America asked the bigger country. North J took this chance to grab his sister from Russia and run out the door towards his mother, everyone following after him.

Outside stood JE, Nazi Germany, Italy, and Germany with a German Shepherd in front of all of them. North J carried South J in his arms, he put her down and told her "母に行きます"(go to mother) South J shook her head and stayed with her big brother. North J turned to see USSR, UK, America, and Russia standing at the door. North J put a protective arm around South J as he stood between the groups. "North, South, come here," JE said calmly, America glared at North J "no, come here!" he said, JE stared at North and South "you shouldn't have to think about this, come here!" she said, slightly annoyed. North J looked at America "I told you I wouldn't join you, South said the same to the UK, take a hint already!" America's face twisted in distaste "what about Russia?" America asked suddenly "what about him?" JE asked back "North, bring South so we can go home," JE said, slightly angry "or... you can join us, we'll be one big happy family," Russia said, USSR put a hand on his son's shoulder "we would accept you, even after everything you've done," USSR said, Nazi Germany scoffed "does your son not know his loyalties?" he asked with his heavy accent and a raised brow, "I thought he did" mumbled JE "I do" snapped North J as he took South J's hand and walked over to his mother.

North J made sure South J was alright before looking at the others, who were concentrated on their enemies. "家に帰りましょう"(let's go home) JE said to North and South, they nodded and turned to leave, the others slowly following after them. America mumbled something to the UK but USSR intercepted their conversation, whatever USSR said made America mad.
"so we let them leave? just like that?!" America said to USSR "if they were in your land, you'd be free to do what you want, but you're not, remember that!" USSR said back. "Besides, Russia and North J are good friends, I doubt they would fight each other, even if they were forced too" USSR noted, America rolled his eyes "we'll see, how long has North J hung out with Russia?" Russia perked up as he spoke, "for nearly two years, why?" America glared at USSR then looked at Russia "what would you guys talk about?" America asked "stuff, how bored North would get, how South was doing, what JE was up to, things like that" Russia paused "then I'd tell him how dad was really busy and how I'd get bored easily so we agreed that we'd meet up and hang out. I didn't know that our families were enemies until North J..." Russia paused, thinking about what he was about to say, America took in the information Russia was providing "until?" America asked, Russia stared at America.

"why do you want to know? what will you do with this information? forget I said anything" Russia snapped at him and walked inside, everyone was taken back by his little outburst.
"What was that about?" UK asked, looking between America and USSR, America turned to USSR "he's hiding things from you" America said, USSR shook his head "no, he's hiding things from you. His life is none of your business anyway" this made America angry. The UK took this as his cue to leave, he put a hand on America's shoulder and patted it "we'll catch up later" UK said and walked off. Now it was just USSR and America standing alone, USSR turned to go inside "you should go America" America sighed "fine," he said as he walked off, USSR walked inside and closed the door.

As USSR walked inside he saw Russia sitting on the couch, just like he had been with North J when he came home. USSR walked over to him and sat down "you did the right thing" USSR said to Russia "did I? I practically told him everything!" Russia exclaimed, USSR shook his head "no, you didn't. You told him how you guys started talking, not word for word what you told him and what he told you. You said I was busy but didn't say what I was busy with. You said what JE was up to, but didn't say what she was doing" USSR said, Russia nodded in realization.

North J and South J walked home with JE "when we get home, pack a night bag. We'll be staying and Nazi Germany's house" JE informed them, North nodded and didn't question his mother, knowing it was unwise to do so, North repeated the message to South, who nodded in response. when they got home North and South slipped quietly to there room and packed a bag to last them a few nights at Nazi Germany's house. In the shadows they didn't notice a camera, spying, listening, learning. while North and South were packing their bags, JE walked in "I'm going to a meeting, Germany is waiting for you at his house, South knows the way. わたしは、あなたを愛しています"(I love you) South ran and hugged JE, North hesitated but ran to hug his mother when she smiled at him. a simple smile after what had happened meant he hadn't brought shame or disrespect to her. JE hugged her children, kissed their foreheads, and left for her meeting.

Once North and South had finished packing their bags, North locked the house up and South lead the way to Germany's house. While walking South stopped, spotting America and UK "兄" (brother) she whispered, North J looked ahead and saw them too "走れ, 走れ!"(run, run!) North J said "どこ?!"(where?!) South J asked, panicked "どこでも!" (anywhere!) North J yelled, South started running as America and UK looked over at them. North followed South and kept looking over his shoulder, only to see America gaining on them "彼は速すぎる!"(he is too fast!) North said, concerned but South kept running until they got to Russia's house "ここで何をしているの" (what are we doing here) North asked as South knocked on the door.

There was a knock at the door, USSR stood up and opened it "help! he'll be here soon and mother is gone" Russia heard North J say "who?" USSR asked "America, he won't leave us alone may we please come in?" North asked desperately, South yelped "what are you doing here?" USSR asked "none of your business" America said "let her go," North said "make me," America said, Russia heard a growl then someone cry out in pain "try anything and she gets hurt," America said dangerously. "what do you want with us?" North asked Russia walked towards his father "what's going on?" Russia asked, eyes widening at what he saw. America had South in a chokehold while North looked ready to kill America. North turned to Russia and growled "he won't leave us alone" he said angrily then turned back to America, who had a cut under his eye from (Russia was guessing) South.
