I held her close to me in a hug. We hugged for a solid minute before we let go, smiling at eachother. We looked ahead of us.

"Well, we should get going." She says. I nod. We made our powers push us forward. I almost tripped over my powers though, I guess I don't have that good of a grip on them. She caught me before I tripped though, lucky me. I honestly don't know what I'd do without her. She's gotten me through the hard times. When a boy broke my heart for the first time...she told me I deserved better and that boys aren't worth the effort. I don't know what I'd do without her.

~~Flashback~~

I sat on my bed and cried my eyes out. I heald the phone to my ear.

"What's the matter Beach? " I hear a familiar voice ask. I continue to sob into my pillow.

"Gabby, it happened!" I managed to say between sobs.

"What?" She asks.

"He broke up with me!"

"Oh, no! Beach, I told you he'd do this!" She scolded me.

"I know but you know the rules I go by!"

She sighed, "I know, everyone deserves a chance."

"And I gave him his!" I screamed.

"Calm down," she tells me. "Your gonna hurt your  voice!"

"Ok, I'm calming down."

"Ok, first of all, boys are gross and they're not worth the effort! Second, your a radical girl, and you deserve better!" She says.

I sit up a little, "Yeah, he can go screw himself! I don't need boys!"

"Yeah that's the spirit! But, I gtg, ttyl!"

"Bai gurl." I say and hang up.

As I've said a million times before, I don' t know what I'd do without her. I recovered from almost falling and pushed foreward. We went on for a little while but suddenly stopped. I placed my hands in front of me and pushed. Nothing. There was an invisible force there, like a forcefield. Oh...my...god! It was a forcefield!

"Oh my god Gabby!!We're never going to get out of here!!!" I started to have a panic attack. "I'm gonna die alone!!!" I couldn't breath and I was becoming light-headed I didn't notice my powers dimming. The ground was moving toward me. No, I was falling! Then, darkness.

"Wake up."

I was being shaken in someone's arms. Then I remembered.

"Gab...by?" I asked drowsily, sitting up and rubbing my head. "What...happened?"

"You bonked your head." She said standing up and offering me her hand. I took it gladly.

She looked sad for once. "What's the matter?" I asked.

"The thing you said before you fainted... the thing about us dying alone..." she explained.

"Yeah... I kinda panicked..." I said.

"So uh... what're we gonna do about this force field?" She asks.

"I don't know." I say.

CRASH!!!!

Supprised, we both looked in that direction.

"What the...!" I shout, confused.

We both gasp as the dust settles.
