Shadow left feeling foolish for having feeling the way he did today and felt it'd be better if he just leave and see her tomorrow sometime

Although now tails only has one person to clean out all the stuff in Mina's new room tails hated to ask for her help but he couldn't do it himself

Tails sighs and picks up some of the papers that flushed the floor and set them neatly in the box they were in.

"Foxy?" Mina said confused by the way shadow addressed her

"I think it's a nickname" tails Clairfield

The papers that spilt. Tails noticed a tattoo of sorts on minas wrist

"Mina what's on your wrist? " tails asked

"Oh I don't really know mephlies said it's some important code for tracking something of mine. " Mina answered grimly

Tails written down the number on her wrist and walked away to the back to his workshop Mina grabbed a box of stuff and followed tails

"What is it tails? " Mina asked by his excitement

"This number is a ID code meaning I can find out a lot about you including your eyes I wanted to talk to you but I don't want to say anything until I'm absolutely positive about it which I will be in.........ah now aha!" Tails said while typing frantically on the keyboard His excitement faded and his face saddened

"Tell me what about my eyes? What are you talking about? " Mina said confused

Tails takes a flash light that changes in color and flashes it in her eyes and then shakes his head in disappointment

"Mina I I'm terribly sorry but you have a mild form of tritan color blindness. You can't see the color blue it will become a grey color.I hoped I was wrong but I wasn't, but it's mild you can still see orange and yellow and red."tails said sympathetic

Minas eyes water at the bad news but she would not let her tears fall she must be strong she closes her eyes and takes a deep breath trying not have her voice crack but she couldn't hide her teary voice

" how..... How long have I...... How could this happen? " mina said not really knowing what to say

"The liquid tube we have pulled you out of had damaged  a few layers of your eyes and making them process light into your eyes differently which is why you can't see color properly"tails explained while he grabbed tissue and handed it to mina

Mina sniffed then blew her nose into the tissue and dubbed her eyes lightly although she never let the tears that were there fall

"guess sonic was right huh?" Mina said trying to lighten her mood

"Oh no he's just being a jerk. " tails comforted

"So is he really blue? " mina asked

"Yes" tails said with a chuckle then the two burst out in laughter together

"Thank you tails..........Can...can we keep this secret?" Mina asked

"Oh you're welcome and Sure not a problem, but I can make you contacts for you so you can see in color it will just take a while." Tails answered

Mina gave a sweet smile and thanked him again

"Hey are you hungry? I'm starving! "
Tails asked as he noticed she hasn't eaten anything

"Yeah I'm a bit hungry too. " Mina agreed

"Hey there's this really good seafood place just a little ways from here. Do you want to go there? " tails suggested

"Oh yeah that sounds great and for desert we  could get some chocolate ice cream! "Mina said excited

*time skip*

Tails and mina had an amazing time at the seafood restaurant and mina ate an entire salmon dish all to her self and they both came home with chocolate ice cream on there faces along with a smile

"haha! Nami I can't believe you ate all that fish and still had room for ice cream! "Tails said in disbelief

Mina gave a confused look at tails and he gave one in return

"Nami?" Mina said curiously

"Yeah it's a nickname" tails said happily

"Why is everyone giving me nicknames for? Do you not like my name? " Mina asked

"Oh no Mina we all think your name is great nicknames just mean that we're friends it's what friends do. " tails explained  "if you don't like the nickname I gave you I won't use it if it makes you feel uncomfortable"

"Oh no it's ok I don't mind I just didn't understand why everyone is giving me nicknames for" Mina Assured

"Oh ok then! Ugh I totally forgot about  all these boxes in the living room! " tails said realizing the big mess

"Oh it's ok tails I can sleep in the living room one more night it won't hurt me none i'll even help pack up what's in the living room into the garage" Mina offered

Tails sighed then agreed and Mina headed into the maze of boxes and tails went into his workshop and turned on the lights and made room for the boxes in the living room

Meanwhile Mina grazed her fingers over box after box until shiny glittering gold caught her eye and she made her way over to the box with the glistening valuable. A pendant necklace with fox tails and a similar shaped face mask was ingrained into the gold she couldn't believe what she found. She grabbed it and hurried to tails as quick as she possibly could stumbling over boxes here and there but made it to the workshop. She bursts through the door panting heavily by the sprint in there

"Mina!? Are you okay why are you so out of breath? " tails exclaimed at her loud entrance

"Where..... *pant*......did you.....*pant*..........get this..... " Mina asked trying to catch her breath and holding up the necklace

"Oh that where did you find this? " tails said as he walked up to Mina and the shiny pendant

"I found it in one of the boxes in there but where did you get it? " mina asked again but more calmly this time

"It's a family heirloom I think." Tails guessed

"You think? So like did your mother give it to you or your father? Where are they I need to talk to them about this pendant." mina questioned his uncertainty

"I'm sorry but I don't know where they are and I'm not sure about it I just had it since I was little." Tails answered

"Well did they tell you about it at all? "
Mina pushed

"No I don't know my parents I'm a orphan ok?! This was just one of the things they left me with! I've been meaning to sell the stupid thing for some extra cash for my parts I need for my plane  " tails burst out but calmed down toward the end

"I'm sorry....... About your parents I mean I didn't mean to pry ......but ..........you can't sell this"
Mina said awkwardly

"Why not? It's of no use to me other than being sold for money. " tails said Gruffly

"Because it's not worthless! watch!" Mina said persistent

Mina grazed her fingers lightly along the circular edges and the metal began to glow and the ingrained tails animated themselves and swayed Mina stopped and behind her was blue figures all kitsune there tails swayed and there face was covered types of warrior masks of different colors they didn't make a sound nor did they even move from where they were

"Ah! What are you! " tails shouted in shock at the ghostly figures

"Tails calm down it's ok they're just ghost's from the past. These are all kitsune warriors just like me and they Intrusted me with their ancient power. I summoned them to show you the importance of this pendant. To show you the importance of the kitsune culture. " Mina said trying to calm down tails

The ghost's vanish in a blue fog and tails calms down

"You couldn't have just told me that thing was important you had to summon ghost's to kill me! " tails exclaimed

"Oh don't be so dramatic your fine they can't even touch you they'll go right through besides they couldn't stay in that form in this world for long " Mina shrugged

"Ok well fine so what is it with that thing is it like hunted or something? "
Tails asked

"What! No! Well ok kinda but not the way you think it's  sacred " Mina explained

The computer beeps and and tails gets  up and checks it and is in total disbelief

"My god! " tails said in shock as he read the screen
