Tails and sonic gather everyone in tails work shop that night to discuss what to do with their current situation.

"Tails what are we all doing here? " a white bat wearing a black tight jumpsuit with pink heart covering her Breasts and pink hearts on the tips of her boots to mach, said with a unenthusiastically sassy voice.

"Glad you asked rouge. This meeting is called because of a recent mission me sonic and Shadow had went on to save Amy from Mephiles. Well not everything went entirely according to plan me and Shadow had saved a Kitsune. Today I spoke with her and I found some disturbing news." Tails arrested formally too the group

"Ahem! Tails you forgetting someone in saving her? " sonic included himself

"No you didn't save her sonic. Me and Shadow did." Tails Rightfully claimed his credit

"That's not what I told her." Sonic admitted

"You lied to her!? " Shadow raised his tone

"I simply gave myself my credit" sonic defended himself

"YOU LIED! YOU BASTARD!" Shadow yelled loosing his temper and lunging himself to sonic. His fist met sonic's face hard making him grunt. Sonic sent his fist back in return but only to be dodged by shadow. The two Spiraled into a violent fist fight.

"HEY! KNOCK IT OFF!" Tails yelled at the two of them trying to pull them apart

A red Echidna with dreadlocks and a upside down white crescent moon on his chest along with a muscular build and spiked gloves, pushes him want between the two fighters and Shadow Lands a solid to the Echidna's face but he remained unfazed. He put his hands on shadows shoulders and pushed him backwards separating the fighting hedgehogs "That's enough!" He said sternly

"Thanks knuckles" tails thanked the echidna.knuckles just nodded in response

"Oh my gosh! Sonic! Are you alright! " Amy exclaimed

Sonic sat there up against the wall panting heavily. Blood dripped from his broken nose. He wiped the blood carefully away from his busted lip. His blackened eye looks up to Amy.
"I'm fine" sonic sonic said before he coughs

"I'll be back to get a ice pack Amy there's some clean shop towels in the top drawer over there by the screwdrivers. " tails showed Amy before he left

Knuckles stayed between the two just in case one of them wanted a round two. Rouge, the bat from either had set shadow on a create to assess his Injuries which were minor. He busted the stitches in his hand and cut his lip but that was about it.

"All I wanted was a little credit. " sonic continues

"No sonic you don't deserve any credit all you did was blabber on and on and nearly get us all caught! " shadow agued

"But I was still there! " sonic exclaimed "Ow!" Sonic Yelped when any pushed on his nose

"If you want credit that you helped save someone then tell it to someone who you actually saved like Amy!" Shadow snaped back
Sonic didn't reply he just shot shadow a dirty look. "You don't get to be the hero! Not this time." Shadow said angrily but more calmly at the end.
Tails waked in and tossed the cold compress to Amy to use on sonic a long stretch of silence went on between everyone before someone broke the silent stretch

"Hey I just want to say that my money was on shadow in the
fight." A brown and tan Badger with pigtails and animal-hide like clothing said from the corner of the room

"Sticks!"Amy and tails exclaimed together

"why do you even care shadow?! Huh? You just sit around here all day looking depressed and when eggman shows up and we need your help you turn and walk away! So don't tell me how to be a hero when you aren't one yourself! You couldn't even save Maria! You know nothing about being a hero! " sonic said ignoring sticks comment and further provoking shadow

Shadow stood up and trotted his way to sonic making them face to face only inches apart. Knuckles put his hands between them.

"Hey hey come on" knuckles tried to prevent them from tearing each other apart

"Maybe because I know how it feels like to be poked and proded at all for the sake of someone else to become powerful! Maybe because I know what it's like to be nothing more than a experiment! So I'll tell you whatever the hell I want because I don't want to be a hero sonic I just want to help! Also if you want to talk about know knowing what something is like! You try being a prisoner and the only purpose of your life is too make everyone else powerful! Because I know you don't know a damn thing about that! And if I hear her name come out of your lips again I swear I'm going to kill you!" shadow ranted in range at sonic.
The two just look at each other with hatred in their eyes

"Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!" Sticks chanted  while holding cash in her hand

"Sticks if you don't shut the hell up right now I'll fight you! " shadow yelled annoyed by the badger

Knuckles set the two aside an kept them apart so they won't be able to fight

" ok if everyone is ready to stop bickering and fighting with each other. I'll begin. Okay so Mina is the name of the Kitsune we saved the night before last and I think she's in danger. We need to help her."tails continues once everyone is calm

"Why do you think your girlfriend is in trouble hun? " Rouge asked

"S-Shes not m-my girlfriend!" Tails stuttered Embarrassed

"Hahahahaha-OW! " sonic laughed but quickly stopped because of pain and he started to snuggle the ice pack on his face

"But anyways! " shadow growled making tails move on

"Anyways I think she's in danger because one we had to save her in the first place and second of all at lunch I had asked how old she is and she said three months. Of course I was confused but she explained that she doesn't remember much about where she came from but she knows that she was put in an incubator for twelve years until she was released from it three months ago and put into another machine too help her survive outside the incubator. "

"What's your point here tails?" Sticks grew impatient

Tails pulls down and rolled paper from the wall and points to it.
"My point is that those machines she was connected to are not what she thinks they are. They're what is called PEDs. Short for power extraction device. And if I'm right three months ago she was in a PID. Power improvement device. For 12 years! So my question is why would Mephiles enhance her power to extract it?
And why 12 years worth of saved power. She's overwhelmed with her power. A PED acts as an inhibitor ring only more exact on the amount drawled out of someone. Shadow she's gonna need to get some inhibitor rings from you to manage her power level and I hate to say it but since you are the strongest power wise out of all of us I'll need you to help her mange her power." Tails explained
But paused to take a breath

"Mephiles don't go for small petty pieces of power. Why do you think he doesn't bug us about the seven emeralds, because he knows that they are hard to obtain an keep and you only get a large amount of power if you have all seven unlike the master emerald that has twice as much power than all seven chaos emeralds combined. If Mephiles only got three months of power from her then you all best bet he'll be back to get the rest."
Tails finished

"Okay what's the plan? " Amy asked with a determined tone

"Shadow takes care of her power impulses. Rouge and sticks will keep a eye out for Mephiles and any goons he'll send to get Mina. I'll work on some equipment to help shadow with the power training and do some research on Mina to see what else I can find. Knuckles you will be her escort I don't want her going anywhere without you in reach. Sonic and Amy will handle the badnics and eggman .Okay sound like a plan?" Tails Assigned everyone. Tails heard agreement from everyone except sonic.

"What! Oh come on tails! You know how Amy is with me! Don't stick me with egghead! " sonic complained

"I don't want to hear it sonic you went behind my back and lied you get what you get. You're lucky I'm still your friend. I can't stand liars and you know that.I don't want to see you around Mina. Do you understand? " tails said coldly

"I'm the leader of this team!" Sonic exclaimed

"Yeah? Not any more" tails said as he walked out of the room
