The bright sun shined through the window of tails house and gently woke him up. Tails sat up and stretched out his arms and yawned. He then removed the blankets off of him, put on his shoes, and walked downstairs to see if the girl from last night was still there and ok.

Tails reached the end of the stairs and looked into his living room to see the kitsune still sound asleep on his small sofa. Satisfied that she was ok, tails went to the kitchen and started to make breakfast. He mixed the batter, fried the Bacon, and scrambled the eggs. He set the table with two glasses of orange juice and the food all on separate plates just in case she didn't like eggs and bacon with her pancakes. After breakfast was made and the table set he went to go wake her. Although the kitsune was already awake as she smelled the pancakes. She sits up and rubs the sleep from her eyes and reaches her arms up high and lets out a yawn.

"Good morning sleeping beauty" tails teased "I made breakfast if you're hungry. It's on the table follow me." Tails said as he walked out of the living room with a smile

The kitsune stood up and realized her lack of clothing, granted that her t-shirt reached her upper thigh and didn't show any of her private areas it would if she moved too briskly. She resorted to wrapping the throw blanket around her waist and followed tails to the table.

"Sorry I don't have any clothes that would fit you but I have my friend Amy coming over today who has some old clothes of hers that she thinks would fit. So what's your name?" Tails asked before sitting down. A long moment of silence lasted between the two before tails spoke again "can you talk ?" tails asked not knowing  how rude it sounded until he said it

"I'm sorry that was rude of me you must be scared. here how about this I'll go first ok? I'm tails now your turn." Tails said a bit more politely

"M-mina," she says quietly

"Oh well, Mina is a very pretty name, " tails says as he finished his breakfast. Tails got up to answer the door
"Be sure to eat something mina please." Tails spoke loudly as he left

Once the kitsune was alone she removed her mask and quickly scarfed down her pancakes and returned her mask to her face. Curious about who was at the door mina peers around the corner to get a view of a black and red hedgehog that was absolutely stunning. Mina could feel the heat burning in her cheeks and her heart beat faster and faster the longer she gazed at his attractive features, but a strange resemblance of the hedgehog struck fear into mina as she placed who it was he looked so much like.

"Oh good morning shadow I wasn't expecting you this early" tails greats

"I'm sorry is now not a good time I wanted to check on the girl from last night.is she awake?" Shadow asked as he couldn't get her off his mind all night.

"Oh no, you're fine come on in. She woke up about half an hour ago she's in the kitchen eating breakfast. I found out her name is mina but other than that she hasn't said anything." tails explained as he shut the door and lead shadow to the kitchen. They both reached the kitchen to find mina missing.

" huh she was just here a minute ago"
Tails said confused

"Don't move" mina said behind shadow who has a kitchen knife pressed against his neck. In one quick movement shadow grabbed the knife threw it into the wall and pushed mina on the floor. never once breaking his cold composure.

"Nice try but I don't go down that easy. Explain yourself now. " shadow demands with a grumpy tone

" nice costume but do You really have to have someone explain why they want you dead, mephiles "
Mina spat back as she got up

"Huh!? excuse me what did you call me?! I am not Miphiles!" Shadow began to shout offended

Tails began to laugh at the mix-up of the two hedgehogs." hahaha oh mina it's ok really, he's shadow he's no threat just don't get on his bad side. Surprising he gets mixed up with a lot of hedgehogs. hehe"tails says happily

*beep beep*

A high pitched car horn sounds outside

"Oh, Amy's here! Please don't kill each other while I'm gone." Tails says before taking off to the door

Mina turns and goes to the living room to cry privately because she made a fool out of herself. Shadow followed her and saw how she was upset, feeling guilty of making her cry he sat down next to her.

"I'm sorry I made you cry I just don't much like to have a blade held to my throat." Shadow tried to comfort her and failed miserably

"No, I'm sorry please just leave," she said with a sniffle

The hedgehog stood up and walked to the door to excuse himself. Mina grabbed the pillow from last night and shoved her face in it and sighed. She gained her composure and wiped her tears.

"Oh! Hi shadow can you help me with these boxes? " Amy said cheerfully

"No do it yourself. " shadow coldly replied pushing past Amy and Leaving tails house. Tails walks up to Amy holding two boxes of clothing

"What's his problem? " Amy asked

"Oh well, I think you would be a bit bitter if you had a knife to your neck this early in the morning to" tails explained what happened earlier while setting down the boxes

"What! Omg! " Amy exclaimed in shock

"Yeah mina thought he was Mephiles and attacked him. I guess she  doesn't have great terms with Mephiles. " tails explained further

"Who's mina?" Amy asked

"She's the girl from last night" tails explained again

"Oh! Ok! " Amy said with her mood back to being happy and cherry

The two go back to the car and was each pulled out two more boxes and put them in the living room with the others

"Amy why did you bring so many clothes? " tails asked

"Because I had a lot of old clothes plus I asked some of my other girl friends if they had any old clothes because I didn't know what she would like. " Amy simplified

They started opening up the boxes and showing them to mina

"She doesn't talk much does she? " Amy asked tails

"No I think she's just shy huh mina" tails said

Mina shot up and looked at the two before looking through the clothes again.

"Hey, mina I have this really cute dress what do you think" Amy said holding up a blue dress with straps on the shoulder like this

Mina looks up at the dress and shakes her head

"Not thank you I don't wear dresses not my style and I don't really like grey it's to plain. " Mina politely declined while getting the color wrong

"Um Mina are you feeling ok? " tails asked concerned

"Yes I feel fine. Why do you ask? " Mina replied

"Uuh Mina that dress is blue not grey" tails told her

"Huh no it's not it's grey." Mina denied

"Mina can we speak later about something I'm a little concerned. " tails tone stayed worried

"Ok sure." Mina said still looking for something to wear

"Alright, I need to go I have some parts I need to pick up for the tornado and I also have a few other arends to run today I'll be back by noon. Amy can you stay here with Mina? " tails asked

"Um yeah I have a meeting with a volunteer committee so please don't take too long ok." Amy agreed

Tails grabs his book bag and his brown leather jacket that matches the bag and headed out the door

Mina pulled out a pair of black jeans with holes in the knees and thighs along with a purple T-shirt and Some underwear that Amy bought for her.

"Um A-amy right? " Mina asked nervously as she didn't know her well

"Yep that's me." Amy said with a smile

"Where's the restroom I'll like to take a shower. " Mina said with a little more courage

"Oh I think it's upstairs down the hallway to your right" Amy instructed

Mina nods and heads up stairs. She walks in the restroom and shuts the door then takes off her mask and set's it on the counter with the new set of clothing she picked out. She undressed her self and grabbed a washrag and got in the shower. The warm water was soothing as it rushed down her body and she just started to relax and calm her nerves whenshe heard the door click open

"Hello?! "Mina asked in  concern
When no one answered she peaked her head out to see her mask missing.
