Rikka's POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock beeping. I slowly get up and look to my right to see Raquel still asleep.

"Hey Raquel! Wake up!" I said.

"Mmmff... good morning Rikka ...~Quel" said Raquel with a tired expression.

"Come on! Let's go to the beach!" I said

And just as I said that, Raquel jolted up and flew to my face.

"Did you say beach!!!??" He said to my face.

We were on our way to the beach. When we arrived, I sat under the tree that Ira and I spent together when he had amnesia.

I remember when I found Ira that day... lying in the ocean...
I thought with a grin.

I still wonder why I helped him... could it be that I-

"Hey Rikka.." said Raquel as he interrupted my train of thought.

"Yeah?" I said, looking to my side.

"Is there a reason why you wanted to come to this beach and sit under this specific tree?" He said.

"H-Huh?" I said looking puzzled.

"Like, last time you were confused on what you wanted to do in your future. What is it this time ~Quel?" He asked.

"O-Oh.. I just wanted to be by the ocean, and it's a really nice day and I thought that you wanted to have some fun with me" I said with a smile.

"Oh... alright then" said Raquel.

We continued to relax and watch the ocean. Just then, I heard a faint sound...

Huh?... what's that sound?
I thought

It sounds like..... crying?

I turned to my right to see a boy not so far from me. I was just about to turn to my left when I could've sworn that I saw tears falling from his face.

I jolted up, causing Raquel to roll from my lap.

"Oww.. Rikka! What was that for!? ~Quel" Raquel whined.

"Sorry! It's just that boy looks like he's upset." I told Raquel.

"Should we check if he's oka-" but I already started running towards his direction before Raquel could finish.

"Hey are you alri-" I couldn't finish my sentence because my foot hit a rock, causing me to fall in the direction of the boy.

For a split second the boy looked up, but I couldn't make out how his face looked like.

"HEY WATCH OUT!!" I heard the boy yelling.

Mysterious Boy's POV

I heard a girl calling me. I turned around to see her loosing her balance.

"HEY WATCH OUT!!" I yelled as I got up and ran to her.

I caught a hold of her and we were both on the ground, her face by my chest.

She's breathing heavily..
I thought.

Must be cause she tripped...

"Sorry.. I lost my balance" I heard her say as she looked up at me.

I was shocked to see her face... as she was shocked to see mine.

"R-R-Rikka!!??"

Rikka's POV

I felt someone's arms around me.

It was that boy... he must've caught me...
I thought, blushing a little.

"Sorry.. I lost my balance" I said as I looked up to see his face.

I was shocked and petrified as I caught his gaze... as he looked like when he caught mine.

"R-R-Rikka!!??" He said, as his eyes widened.

"I-I-Ira!!??"
