At night, we returned home but this night was a little different. Leonidas jumped at me and tried to strangle me. I couldn't defend myself so I kept screaming. "Help!" I screamed. "Nobody isn't gonna help you because no one likes you", he said. He kept strangling me. I had to make a move or I would be dead. I screamed as loud as I could and my parents came. They growled at Leonidas. He got off of me. My parents kept growling at Leonidas till he was scared. He called his parents and his parents came. 

They fought my parents till they rolled off a cliff which made them dead. We looked at their lifeless body on the ground. I ran away from Leonidas and never came back. I ran far away till I was tired and fell asleep. I was placed on a tree when I woke up. I didn't know who put me up there until I saw Snowy. I ran to hug her. "Where have you been?" I asked. Snowy distracted me and gave me gazelle meat. "Seriously, we've been looking for you", I said. "I ran away so what? I found you taking a nap and decided to show you the beauty of nature", she said.

I smiled at her. "So about the other night. I'm sorry for running away but you can't tell them I'm here", said Snowy. "Why not?" I asked. Snowy looked at me and began to tear up. "I really love you but your parents and my parents are not okay with this so I needed to run away", said Snowy. "Where were you hiding the whole time?" I asked. I looked at her. "I can't tell you", she said. She sniffled as I looked at her. "I'm not gonna lie but I think I will love living this lifestyle", I said as I looked at the sun.

"Me too", she said. She smiled at me. She kissed me and this time I kissed her back. "I love you", she said. "I do too", I said. We were only cubs but oh well. Since we have freedom we can do what we want. I smiled at her. Snowy was happy for once in her life. If she was happy, then I was happy. I gave her a hug. "Can you please tell me where you were at?" I asked. "Fine, I was hiding around the trees the whole time", she said.

I looked at her in anger. "You wasted our time and energy! We were looking for you! Frosty has been crying for you and she still is!" I said. Snowy cried. "I didn't mean to do this", Snowy said. I looked at her and regretted this whole thing. "You know my parents were killed by me, right?" I asked as my voice began to broke. "Really? How?" Snowy asked in shock. I tried to clear my throat. "The prince's parents and my parents got in a fight and died because of me", I said. 

I couldn't hold my tears. I sobbed and Snowy hugged me. She was always there for me no matter what. "You didn't kill them", she said. I looked at her. "Yes I did", I said. Snowy continued to hug me and hold my paw. It was dark and we saw the beautiful stars. The stars were so bright. We saw the stars till we fell asleep. I woke up and saw Snowy cooking bird eggs. "Where did you get those eggs?" I asked. "Oh you're up! Rise and shine, my friend. Just made you breakfast", said Snowy as she gave the fried eggs. 

I ate the eggs and I loved them! This was the best thing I have ever tasted in my life. Snowy sat with me. "I just thought you were hungry and all," Snowy said. "You're fine. I actually loved it", I said. Snowy smiled at me. "I got up during dawn to find the eggs", she said. "You slept like an angel." I smiled at her. "Well thanks", I said. Snowy kissed me. "Why do you keep kissing me?" I asked. "Because I love you as a girlfriend", she said.

"I'm sorry but i only like you as a friend", I said. She looked at me with tears in her eyes. She walked away and I never saw her again. I guess I kind of regretted what I said to her but it needed to be said.
