Catarina is my name and I have a lot to tell you. It focuses on my life. My life which involved me as an princess. My parents are the king and queen of the jungle. They wanted to be referred to their names, Paula and Bruce. I had a bodyguard named Kato. Everyday we would go to the waterhole. I was best friends with the white tiger twins, Snowy and Frosty. They would always get picked on but I defend them. Today, my dad had a surprise for me. I woke up early and woke him up. "Wake up Bruce!" I said.

My dad didn't answer. I leaped on him and jumped on him till he woke up. "Settle down, Catarina", he chuckled. My mom woke up and giggled. "She looks excited today", said my mom. "I am Paula because Bruce has a surprise for me!" I said. My mom smiled. "Bruce, are we going to tell her?" My mom asked silently. My dad nodded. "Follow me, Catarina", said my dad. I followed him and walked to the grassland. "We're having visitors and I want you to be on your best behavior", said my dad. I nodded. We saw a whole pack of lions walking.

"Who are they?" I asked. "Those are lions", said my dad. I saw a little lion cub who was walking with an adult male lion and adult lioness. I smiled at him and he smiled at me back. The adult male lion walked up to my dad. "Sorry to disturb you but our place had a wildfire and needed to find a place", said the adult male lion. "You're fine just take our jungle and we'll go to the other jungle", said dad. I was shocked to hear my dad to say that. "Wait, so we're leaving our jungle?" I asked. 

"I'm afraid so, said dad. All of the tiger pack including us left. We discovered a small jungle that's close to the former jungle we owned. I saw Snowy and Frosty. "Hi", I said. They both said hey to me. "Wanna play tag?" I asked. They both nodded. Snowy touched me. "You're it", said Snowy. I chased Snowy and Frosty till my mom was looking at me. "Kato needs to be with you", she said. "But Paula", I said. Kato walked and laughed. "You really thought I was chopped liver", he said. "No, we just don't want you here", said Snowy. 

"Well I have to watch sweet old Catarina", he said. Kato showed us a few of his tricks. "You guys should be respecting me", said Kato. "But we don't want to", said Frosty. Kato laughed. "Catarina is respecting me", he said. "No she's not", said Snowy. I looked down at the ground. I always knew Kato was deeply in love with me. The look in his eyes could tell that he was in mad love with me. When he was talking, he would look into my green eyes as if they were beautiful.

"Do you want to go to the waterhole?" Asked Kato. "Why would she want to go with you?" Asked Frosty. I looked at the ground nervously. "I actually wanted to go", I said. Frosty and Snowy gasped. Snowy grabbed my paw behind the tree. "Boys have cooties", said Snowy. "No, Bruce said it wasn't true", I said. Snowy laughed. "Bruce is a male, us females are smart when it comes to cooties", said Snowy. "I'll ask Paula then", I said. Snowy acts different when she's not around with her twin. Snowy seemed a little nice like she was protecting me from boys. 

Boys were that topic we hardly talked about. Frosty interrupted us. "Wanna welcome the prince of our old place?" Asked Frosty. We both nodded. We walked to our old area. We saw a bunch of lions sleeping. Kato caught up. "Hey! What did I say about running off?" Asked Kato. "We're going to talk to the new animals", I said. We all walked down there and saw the lion cub playing. "I don't know if Paula and Bruce will be okay with this", I said. "They'll be fine as long as Kato is here", said Frosty. Kato smiled. 

"And that's why you need me", said Kato. "If Catarina's parents weren't so dumb to choose you then you wouldn't even be here", said Snowy. I was so angry. "They're not dumb!" I yelled. "Exactly!" Said Kato. I walked off in anger. Kato tried to follow me. "I have to watch you", he said. I ignored him. "Come on!" Said Kato. I ignored him again. I wasn't gonna let them bring me down. I walked to my den and never came back
