Amestris's POV
I was sat at the bus stop waiting for my bus, when I saw a guy across the road. He was stereotypically 'emo' with a long, black fringe, piercings and eyeliner. He was wearing a green day shirt, along with black jeans and a leather jacket. He had earphones in and he looked extremely wrapped up in his music. His name was Gabriel, he went to my school.

Then, the school bullies showed up. They walked down the path and spotted Gabriel. Sam, the spearhead of the bullies, ran up to Gabriel and shoved him off the seat he was sat on. Gabriel fell over backwards, slamming his head into a wall. I jumped up and sprinted across the road but it was too late. Sam and the others were already screaming insults at Gabriel.

"Fag!" One cried.

"Why don't you go and cut yourself!" Shouted another.

"Nobody wants you!"

"You're so gay"

That last comment had me. Anyone using the term 'gay' derogatorily can go fuck themselves.

I grabbed the offenders collar and socked him, breaking his nose. I threw him into the floor, knocking him unconscious. I took on one of the slutty girls who walked round like an orange clone of all of the other bleach-blonde bimbos that wore far too little.

I slapped her, then kicked her to her friend, who was now stirring. Most of the others had run off by now, all except Sam, who had Gabriel by the collar and was yelling at him. I kicked Sam between the legs from behind, making him drop Gabriel. Then, I side-kicked Sam, knocking him out. I ran over to a now unconscious Gabriel and picked him up, holding him to my chest. I walked to the bus stop again, noticing that my bus had just pulled in. I jumped on, Gabriel in my arms. The bus took me home and I ran inside as fast as I could.

I placed Gabriel on the sofa and found some bandages, dressing his wounds. He started to stir, groaning at his sprained ankle.

He sat up and looked around, then burst into tears.

"Hey, Gabriel. It's ok, they're gone" I said, pulling Gabriel into a hug.

He sobbed into my shoulder got a couple of hours, me being silent and letting him cry. Then, Gabriel fell asleep on me, me quickly following him to the land of unconsciousness.
