Rasins
Magolor looked ahead at the desert ruins, then back at Kirby.
"Why is it dry?"
Kirby looked at him like he was insane, "It's a desert?"
"I don't like dry."
"Too bad."
Magolor and Kirby trekked through the sand, keeping an eye out for any of those magic spheres.
"They're not magic, it's science!"
"Boooorrriiinng! Come on, let's go!"
This was going to be a long while.
He regretted leaving the other three back on the Lor to look over her and see if they can do any repairs. He didn't want to be here, it's too dry, and hot, it was like Halcandra, but without the comfort of a small cold cave. At least there was a larger variety of creatures here.
...
Okay fine, this was much better than Halcandra, but he still hated it. Mostly the sand. Yeah, it was the sand. Too much, and it got everywhere, and- oh! A cave!
"You seem excited."
"Of course! It's cooler in here, and just nicer overall."
The cooler temperature made it easier for him to focus on documenting things. If he was going to be here, he might as well make the most of it- ENERGY SPHERE SPOTTED LET'S GOOOOOO!!!!
The tails of the Whippies hurt, he had learned, and now he was trying to cover a lash on his hide.
"Come on, let me see!"
"NO! I'm fine! It's just a scratch!"
"Stars DAMNIT Magolor! This is not fine! Look!" Kirby points to the wound. Blood is leaking through.
"I said I'm fine!" He snapped, before turning away. He wasn't too skilled in healing magic, but he did know enough to make potions. He took out one of his own, and drank it. The wound closed up fast.
"Seriously Kirby, don't worry about me. Like I've said, I'm fine."
Kirby knew he wasn't fine.
