I got up and ran off to the rail road where the circus was. I saw many familiar faces and they saw me. They all smiled and waved at me. I then snuck up behind Mr. Haley. I poked his back.

"Hello how can I help......Dick?" He said.

"Yep. Can you do me a favor uncle Haley can I stay here?" I asked.

"Well my boy I don't know. I thought they took you away to the orphanage. Did you run away?" He said.

"Yes. The mean lady beat me and made my life horrible." I said.

"Ok. I will let you stay. Can you still do your old act?" He said.

"Yes. I have practiced every chance I got. I practiced in trees and monkey bars." I said.

"Ok. But if anyone ask you about robberies or anything. Say you don't know anything." He said. This struck me as weird.

"I don't know anything about that." I said.

"That's true because you don't and neither do I." He said. I was still a little curious but I decided to let it go for now.

"Where do I sleep? And when is my act?" I asked.

"You can sleep in my room. And you can start now. I have your cousin's old uniform from before he went to a better place." He said. He handed it to me. I went to the bathroom to change.

I came back out in my new uniform. It was red and white. I felt like I was home again wearing it.

"You look good in it Dick. Now go show me what you got." He said. I nodded. He went to introduce me.

"Good luck kid." A man said. He patted my back.

"Thanks." I said.

"Ladies and gentle men. I would like you to welcome my friend Dick Grayson. He will be the first person in four years to ride the trapeze. His parents are founders of the flying Grayson's." He said the light turned on the curtain signaling my to come out.

I ran out doing cart wheels and flips. I also checked to make sure the rolled net was up. I also made sure I had my daggers to cut the ropes. I climbed up to the stand an started swinging. I pushed my feet I front of me cutting the air.

I let go and flew forward. I flipped and then grabbed the next bar and swung again. I hated that I didn't have a partner to catch me. I then landed at the next landing. I turned around and swung again. I let go and flipped five times. That's when I started to feel sick. But I held it down.

I then pretended to miss the bar. And I started to fall gracefully. As the crowed gasped and I heard a lady scream. I smiled at this. I then threw the daggers and the net untangled. I surfed the net all the way down. I twisted my ankle along the way. I played it off. I then walked to Haley.

"Good job. But never scare me like that again." He said. He hugged me.

I went to his room on the train and went to sleep.
