I wake up in a dark place. It seems like something. I just haven't identified the smell yet. I looked around the others were on the slope fainted. I got worried this most likely wasn't batman. I finally realized it. It's bananas. Ok so what villain like bananas. Gorilla Joe.

I moves slowly and quietly to make sure nothing was broken or injured. I wasn't fine I wasn't sure about the others. I had a broken arm. I got up slowly and lit a fire on my hand. I scanned my surroundings. I see that i am in a cage an the others are scattered around me. I wonder how this could have happened.

I tried to melt through the bars. But the wouldn't even heat up. I got frustrated and threw a fire ball at it. I then heard clapping.

"Nice try young one. But that isn't going to work." Gorilla joe said.

"Well I didn't go to m full temp yet. And why did you capture us?" I asked.

"Well I needed you of course an your friends fought to protect you. Did you enjoy your nap on the sand?" He said laughing.

This kinda pissed me off. This was my new family and people still try to hurt them. Well at least I can defend them this time. No one is taking my new family ever. I turns into the Phoenix and squeezed through the bars and took to the air.

"Oh no you don't." He said. He took a blaster out and shot at me. It was freeze ray. He caught my wing but I blazed and melted it.

"Did your mom teach you not to play with fire." I said I turned back and my body to my human form. I was lit on fire and he seemed to be fighting a urge. That's when I realized. All creatures are afraid of fire. They all have a natural instinct to flee and that what he's fighting.
