1. The florescent lights make me want to poke my eyes out with a stick.
2. The noise makes my eardrums feel like they're going to explode.
3. It's far too crowded for anyone to sit anywhere comfortably.

Bonus: Why I despise the food-serving room:
1. The lights are almost as bad as those of the cafeteria.
2. The humming of the machinery adds a whole other level of pain to the noise from the cafeteria.
3. Still crowded.
4. I have to interact with the ladies serving the food.
5. There's a weird smell that I can't place that just makes my stomach churn.
