Y/n POV

People, heroes or civilians have came around the stadium to watch the whole thing go down, getting ready to watch their loved ones or future side kicks come in and throw it down in there and show their amazing skills to the whole world. The large screens turned on around the stadium, showing Present Mic's face on the screen.

Present Mic : "What's up everyone! Are you all ready!? Make sure to keep your eyes and camera's on the great view cause nothing but excitement is about to happen this year! Your loved ones and soon future sidekicks will be coming in and showing off their great power! Now I got one question... Are you all ready?!"

The crowd cheered at his words, they all grew excited at what was about to come and they were gonna see it. Soon we began to come out, our class was first, Midoriya had a serious look on his face and well he was of course ready as ever to get this show started. I had a cold serious look on my face, I was ready to prove to everyone that my quirk wasn't a villain, and to prove that someone like me can be hero.

Present Mic : "Welcome to the sports festival everybody! First class to ever come out, who are actually no strangers to being popular! We got Class 1a!"

It was no secret that the crowd wanted to see our class, after all we did attacked by villains and it made everyone want to see us more after we got more popular for our near death experience with the league of villains. The next students to come out were class 1b, I looked at them and saw some of them glaring at us.

Present Mic : "Next bunches of students we got, is the hero course, Class 1b! They aren't, but they have tons of potential to show!"

I looked around the large stadium, seeing the tons of people around, some sweat ran down my head, due to all the eyes staring at me, when something like this happens, I would just be annoyed and leave, but this was of course different, since I was being watched by pro's who were looking for people with good quirks.

Y/n : 'God there's so many people here... curse my social weakness.'

Present Mic : "Next up! Is we got general studies, classes c, d and e! And for classes is f, g and h! And finally for business courses is we got classes I, j and k! Give it all for U.A's first years!"

Y/n : "Jesus I'm not ready for this... I wanna do this, but now I already feel nervous doing this."

Denka : "Y/n relax, it will be okay, just do your best and you'll be fine."

Y/n : "Yeah your right, I need to do this."

Once we all got together, a woman stood on a small stage in front of us, holding up a small whip that looked like people use in some videos online. It was the pro hero Midnight, a teacher at U.A, she wore a ultra thin white fabric around her body and wore some leather leotard over it. Wearing a red mask and high heels, she stood with a proud smile and well it got men around the stadium to blush at the sight of her when she first appeared. It made me feel uncomfortable, so I looked away.

Midnight : "Now for the student speech!" *Raises her whip in the air*

I looked over at some people, some of the guys had a faint blush on their face at the sight of her, Mineta was of course enjoying it a bit too much so, I punched him over the head, he then looked at me with a terrified look, he then ran and hid behind Shoji. I then see two people who were from class 1b, one of them was a girl, she had dark girl hair and her teeth were sharp similar to mine, and the other one was a chinese looking boy, who was showing the girl his quirk which seemed to be the ability to grow greenish scale on him. Now that got me interested.

Midnight : "Quiet! And now for the student pledge! We have Y/n Tatsuma!"

My eyes widened slightly at hearing my name. Some students turned to me slightly when they heard my name. I was pushed forward by some students for me to go forward, I looked back to see Denka, Mina and Toru, were the ones who were pushing me, I rolled my eyes and walked up the steps to get to the microphone.

Iida : "Seems like Y/n is the first years rep."

Momo : "He did get first place in the entrance exam so it does add up, I just hope he says something good that doesn't offend the other classes."

Denka : "Come on guys, faith in him. I'm sure he'll say something nice."

I walked up the steps and got close to the microphone. I was silent for a few seconds since I didn't know what to say, I could see everyone starring at me and waited for me, for what I was going to say. I looked back over to Midnight who gave me an encouraging smile.

Midnight : "Just say something nice sweetie, you can do it." *Smiles*

I turned back to the crowd in front of me, I took a deep breath and tried to say something nice to everyone.

Y/n : "Ever since I was young people have always called me a monster, a natural disaster, a villain, due to what my quirk was and what it can do. But I don't care what they say now, and neither should other people like me as well. Even if you have a villain type quirk, you can always become a hero, if you work hard enough and put your mind to it."

After I finished my speech there was a long silence, then lots of people started cheering and clapping, I then turned to Midnight who was smiling.

Y/n : "So was that good?"

Midnight : "It was great."

I looked over, Denka had her thumbs up at me with a wide smile on her face. Everyone else was cheering and Midnight told me to walk off the stage as the sports festival was about to begin it's first challenge.

Midnight : "Now that's out of the way! Let's get started! This is the part you all start feeling the pain and pushing yourselves to getting on top! The first game of the festival!"

A screen behind her appeared and it began to spin like some kind gambling game, it span quickly until it stopped and showed us the first challenge was going to be a 'Obstacle race'.

Y/n : "An obstacle race? Well this should be easy, I could just use my wings to fly."

Denka : "U.A is really trying to push ourselves here."

Midnight : "All eleven classes will come together and run around the track around the stadium! I hope I don't need to whip anyone, but as long as you stay on track you are allowed to do whatever your hearts desire! Now then, get to your places!"

We all walked up to the large gate in the stadium, we all had to wait for it to open so we can all go through it and run around the track. I then noticed something about the gate it was very narrow, it might be the first obstacle, since many people might get stuck just like in the cafeteria. The lights turned green and the gate opened tons of people ran for the door and tried to get through, but a lot got stuck, so I grew wings from my back and flew over the chaos, some of my classmates saw this and used some of their quirks as well to get over the chaos as well.

I then looked down and felt something cold, I then saw a strange mist appearing before it turned into ice and froze many other people's legs to the ground. I knew where it had come from, it was Todoroki. He had the led due to his ice trapping everyone. I smiled, if it was going to be a competition, might as well, make it one. I flew to the ground at high speed while covering my right arm in scales. I then punched the ice, breaking it, and let many people get free. I then took off again catching up to Todoroki in no time at all.

Y/n : "Gonna take a lot more than a little ice to stop me, Todoroki."

Todoroki : "Then you better not lose."

He then blasted ice at me and I quickly dodged it, because ice... is one of the weakness of a skrill. I looked back and saw everyone else was already getting threw and one of them was Bakugo, and he didn't look too happy.

Bakugo : "YOU BOTH AREN'T GETTING AWAY THAT EASILY!"

He was catching up fast and many others in our class got past the ice as well, they chase after Todoroki, who was still running and kept leaving a road of ice behind him giving everyone a difficult time to move, but not for me since I can fly. Mineta who used his balls to bounce off of them so he wouldn't touch the slippery ground, he jumped off one of them and went in the air.

Mineta : "I out smarted you Todoroki! Eat this! Taste my sticky balls!" *Gets ready to throw another ball*

When he tried to throw one though, he was swiftly hit by a robotic arm out of nowhere and span ground like a wheel. The robotic arm came from one of the robots we fought back in the entrance exam, we all turned what had appeared in front of us and saw many robots in front of us even being plenty of zero pointers that towered over us.

Y/n : "Ouch, that's got to hurt. It's those robots from the entrance exam... is this even safe to send out these things against kids!?"

Present Mic : "WOAH! It looks like robots have showed up out of nowhere and ready to take these kids head on! Get ready everybody for a robo attack! Yeeeah!"

Y/n : "This might be a challenge after all. Might as well show everyone what I've got."

The zero pointers attacked, but Todoroki didn't care one bit as he put his hand on the ground and ice formed around him. He threw the ice he formed at the zero pointer that attempted to attack him, freezing the thing frozen solid. Once it was frozen for just a short amount of time, Todoroki ran past it as fast as he could before the zero pointer broke threw the ice a bit and fell on some people, one of those being a class 1b student by the name of Tetsutetsu.

Present Mic : "Class 1a student, Shoto Todotroki just froze that thing with one attack! Now that's cold! These students are truly something else! Don't worry folks, there will be more amazing moments like this so keep your eyes on these guys, especially your fan favorite's class 1a!"

Robots that weren't frozen by Todoroki's attack were still up and ok, and they were ready to throw themselves at us. Lightning crackled around my hands and I prepared myself to attack the robots. I looked over my shoulder and saw Kirishima burst out of the piece of the robot with his body slightly hardened.

Kirishima : "I'M ALIIIIVE!"

Present Mic : "Kirishima from class 1a has burst out perfectly ok!"

Tetsutetsu : "Class 1a really is full of jerks! I'm gonna crush that ice guy when I get to him!"

Present Mic : "Tetsutetsu from class 1b was also stuck under the robot and cam out ok! How similar!"

Y/n : "Those guys are lucky, this school really doesn't hold back from getting kids nearly killed."

I then see a robot about to hit Tetsutetsu from behind, he looks behind him in time for me slam into the robot, he has an confused look on his face, but I just look at him, before walking past him. I then fly into the air and blast lightning at tons of robots taking them down.

Present Mic : "Y/n Tatsuma from class 1a just took down 10 robots single handedly, well what do you expect from the son of the Dragoon hero Ryukyu!"

A lot of the audience did not expect me to be the son of a well known hero. But I ignored that and focused on getting to the finish line. Just then two massive zero pointers appear in front of me, so I created a storm above me. The audience and other students were confused about what was going on, but many of my classmates had worried looks on their face's even Bakugo and Todoroki stop to see what I was doing. While I was in the air scales started to grow on on my arms and legs, and even my tail grew. Lightning crackled around me as I activated my bioluminescent patterns all over my body. I raised both my hands and brought them down and as soon as I did two massive lighting bolts strike the zero pointers and they explode upon impact. The audience goes quiet and everyone has wide eyes at what I just did.

Present Mic : "D-Did you know he could that?"

I then continued to fly over the now destroyed zero pointers. Everyone else then continued running, and after a few minutes of flying, I see people not running, but as I got closer I saw a massive canyon that that very tall platforms that had steel wires connecting them.

Y/n : "Where the heck did this school the time to make all this!?"

A robot was then about to strike me in the back until it shorted out from lighting, it then fell over and I saw Denka behind it with a smile on her face, I smiled back. I then saw Todoroki was trying to get over the hole, with his ice. So I fly after him, while some of the others look at me jealous of how easy it was for me.

Mina : "Oh come on no fair!"

Ochaco : "Hey, why is he glowing?"

As I continued flying, I heard something behind me and when I turned round, I got hit with an explosion. I then crashed into one of the platforms and saw Bakugo in the smiling at me. I then blasted lightning at him and knocked him into one of the platforms as well. I then flew into the air after Todoroki.

Bakugo : "I'm not letting neither of you get ahead of me!"

He then started using his explosions to catch up to us. I flew after Todoroki, getting closer and closer to him, I then flew right next to him. But we both stopped once we cam across a large field. As we stopped I was a little tired from flying a long way, and Todoroki panted a bit at how much he ran and we knew if we stopped now Bakugo and the others will only catch up to us.

Present Mic : "Next obstacle is a mind field! Now this exciting everybody! Bout don't worry everyone, those mines were designed for the games so they won't kill anyone, but they have enough power to scare people into pissing their pants!"

I looked over and saw strange spots on the ground and after hearing what Present Mic said, I now knew this was really a mind field. I had to hurry before anybody else could arrive and quickly, so I decided to fly over it. But after a few moments I heard a few explosions come from behind, knowing that some people had already stepped on some land minds.

Bakugo : "HEY! YOUR DECLARATION OF WAR WAS TO THE WRONG PERSON!"

He the got between me and Todoroki and threw at him which he avoided.

Bakugo : "AND YOU! YOU MADE A WRONG MOVE THINKING YOU COULD BEAT ME!"

He then turned to me as he threw another explosion at me while I dodged his attack. Me, Todoroki, and Bakugo battled it out to get first place. Bakugo kept throwing explosions at each of us, Todoroki grabbed and attempted to freeze us while I simply flew higher into the air. The three of us were ahead of everybody else and the only people that were in our way was us. Everyone else tried to get threw and keep us with us despite some getting exploded from behind and Midoriya, well he was planning something behind that I don't know what he was doing, but I can focus on that right now.

Just then we all heard a loud explosion coming from behind. The three of us stopped and turned around and saw a large explosion appeared far behind us. We all looked up, our eyes widened at the sight of something coming from the smoke and saw... Midoriya, in the air while he was on a piece of a robot that he manage to grab. He was coming right at us and my eyes widened at the sight of Midoriya finally catching up and trying to win this.

Present Mic : "Izuku Midoriya from class 1a is coming straight for first place!" 

He zoomed right past us, I smiled at the smart move, he used his brains other than his quirk and used the mine field to his advantage. We all tried to keep up with him, Todoroki froze the ground to get there quicker while Bakugo used his explosions to fly there, I kept flying after them while slowing passing them as well. I looked up and saw Midoriya was already loosing speed and was about to fall back down while all three of us were catching up.  Midoriya was going to fall on the ground, but I was wrong when he quickly flipped over and slammed the piece of a robot on the ground causing a mine to go off, sending him flying, while Bakugo and Todoroki were sent flying away, but I simply flew through it, trying to keep up with him. Todoroki and Bakugo then try to catch up as well.

Present Mic : "Midoriya got frist place with that swift mine! And Tatsuma is not far behind! Aizawa, your Students are amazing!"

We ran inside, we were all almost back inside the large stadium. Midoriya was almost there while I was almost right behind him, he was almost close to winning this game.

Present Mic : "And first place is..."

I was getting closer to Midoriya, I was so close to him, so close to winning, and soon at the last second, I finally passed him, and got first place while he got second place.

Present Mic : "Y/N TATSUMA FROM CLASS 1A!!"

The crowd cheered, watching me get first place, while Midoriya  got second place. Midoriya panted heavily from all the running he did while I simply retract my wings breathing a little. I looked around in the crowd, seeing how many people were cheering for me and Midoriya. It felt nice and some of my classmates and many class 1b mange to get threw one by one. Midoriya fell to the ground from exhaustion, but I helped him up.

Y/n : "You did great Midoriya."

Midoriya : "Thanks Tatsuma--"

Y/n : "Call me Y/n."

Midoriya : "Thank you, Y/n."

We looked around the crowd. I then looked at Midoriya and he then started to cry, but he quickly wiped away his tears. I then looked up and saw my mom smiling at me from the stands, she then gave me a thumbs up. In a world of heroes, you gotta get high to be popular and that's what  we did right now, everyone was looking at us all, we all did amazing this during the obstacle race, it was a good start.

Denka : "Y/n!"

I saw Denka running towards me with a wide smile, she finally got here on time as I walked away from others and walked up to her.

Denka : "Y/n, that was amazing! You managed to get first place! It was so awesome the way you blew up those two zero pointers!"

Y/n : "Thanks Denka, you did a great job taking down those robots as well. And thanks for the save back at the canyon."

Denka : "This is why we're great friends, we always got each others back!"

Eventually everyone managed to get back to the stadium, it was now just class 1a and 1b in here. There was now less people participating in the sports festival and it was get more intense with what we had to do next. We all gathered up and walked up Midnight as we now waited for what she had to say to us.

Midnight : "The first game is finally over! I'd say it was amazing with what I'd say, but now then, let's all look at the status shall we?"

Midnight : "Don't be upset if some of you didn't make it, we have other opportunities for you to show, now the real fun is about to start, this is the one where you will really give it your best and if not then you might get taken out, let's see what we got! I wonder what could it be, prepare yourselfs..." 

Midnight raised her whip once again, the screen behind her began to spin for a bit till it finally stopped, showing it was going to be a cavalry battle.

Midnight : "For this!"

Y/n : "Cavalry battle?"

Denka : "Not those! Man I suck at those!"

Midnight : "Allow me to explain, you all will be split into two to four teams, the minimum is one, as you choose. One of you will be carried by your teammates while you wear a headband around your head that has been assigned a point value depending on the spot you got during the obstacle course."

Y/n : "So we will be getting a point based value and with us coming together to form a team, it will be even higher then what we have now."

Mina : "Pretty much."

Midnight : "Silence!"

Midnight hit the ground with her ship in anger, not liking how she was interrupted as she stood back up, the screen behind her changed showing the points we got.

Midnight : "Starting from the bottom you get zero points and it gets higher depending on how high up you are with points of five! And for first place is worth... ten million!!"

Everyone went silent at hearing this. Everyone turned towards me with murderous intent at hearing that I was worth so much. It was intense, I felt a strange shiver run down my body at how intense it was as I looked around and saw everyone looking at me, I gulped.

Y/n : "Dear god... have mercy on my soul."
