The wind screamed!!! The extremely darkened sky leaped awake with intense flashes of lightning...

Even though it was pitch black, through the strobes of lightning, the trees appeared to move as if they were running!!! !!! !!!

The lights went out with the first sharp snap of lightning...

Everything lit up brightly. Then, as the thunder's rumblings and the window's rattling quieted we were thrust into darkness!!!

A darkness that surrounded us and swallowed up all of the light on earth!!!

Of course with the exception of the lightning and lights from the emergency vehicles that have flashed by. With their reds and blues countering the lightning...

There is a beat being tapped out by the wind driven rain that lends a mysterious peace to this storm!!! !!! !!!

In the light of the next day, debris tells a story...

Like a diary, disclosing the secrets of last nights storm!!!

Of how it started and grew!!! !!! !!!

Then with no fanfare, it died...

A blip on the record of time that has destroyed what took untold time to grow...

So much material and effort to build...

Lives with so much to offer!!!
