I sat down on the couch with Brooklyn with a lot of space between us.

"Why you all the way over there, come closer. I ain't gone bite" she said patting on the couch.

I got up and scooted down closer to her. We were like 3 inch away.

"So your names MacKenzie huh?" she said starting conversation

I looked at her "Yea but call me Kenzy or Kenz, I don't like my full name. And don't ask why Cuz I have a feeling you were gonna ask??"

She smiles at me "Lol OK that's fine so tell me about yourself"

"Well, I'm 18, straight A student. Love to read, write, and learn. My favorite colors are orange black. I love hanging with friends and doing stupid shit. lol. I hate phony and fakeness. Be real with me and I'll be real with you." I said in one breathe

"Dam shawty all that but I feel you on the real part, that's wassup. You seem real cool and you hella cute." she said smile her perfect teeth to me

I melted at that moment. This girl was so fine.

I jumped out my daze, "So now tell me about yourself"

"Well you already know my name is Serena, but I hate that, so call me Brooklyn, or BK. I like to sing, favorite colors are red and black. Graduated with honors. I'm 19, and I work for a Boeing (for those who don't know its an airplane plant). I like to have fun, but I like to be serious when needed. If I'm 300 with you, I expect to be 300 with me." she said and looked at me.

"OK OK, pretty cool. You work for Boeing, really what do you do."

"Oh uhhh well I um work on.... Maintenance, Yea"

"Oh we do you know someone named LaToya"

"Umm no I can't say I do, why?"

"That's my ex's mom, she works over there."

"Ex?, You and ol dude broke up?" she said kind of surprised.

I looked down and remembered why I was mad all over again. "Yep me and that bastard are broken up. He broke up with me." I say getting said

"Man listen, forget that bitch ass nigga. I heard about his ass. He is a no good dog. You deserve better, real talk." she said grabbing my hand

I looked at her hand and at her and smiled lightly.

"So Kenz, umm can I have your number"

"Uhh--"

Then the door opened
