Another song-based oneshot

The fact that I'm taking a nostalgia trip is altering what I'm writing so I'm literally writing through the years of Grian

Also know this is slightly accurate but not fully accurate. Grian is still friends with these people nobody has been abandoned of unfriended irl.

"So you found the place where everything's better. Away from us and our 'stupidity'" Sam said, angered at the fact that Grian was finally leaving their floating home.

"I hope you're proud of your big decision. I hope you and Taurtis have fun without me. Now you're free from the agonizing life you both were living with me." Sam said glaring at his two old best friends.

"I'm sorry you had it rough, and I'm sorry I'm not enough. Thank god they rescued you." Sam says slamming the door behind him as all of his oldest friends leave him.

And that is where Taurtis and Grian separated from their life with Sam. New adventures awaited with their old friends J, Dom, Danny, and Gareth in Arkus.

Arkus didn't go far when Grian left, but that didn't slow his friendships. Until Grian became busy with Evo and leaves his old friends J, Dom, Danny, and Gareth.

"Does it cross your mind to be slightly sorry, maggot?" Danny said, the american quieter than he usually was.

"Do you even care that you might be wrong?" J said, and turned away from his used to be friend.

"Was it fun?" Gareth spoke loudly, which was was not like him.

"Well I hope you had a blast while you dragged us along in your little games." Dom said turning away from his fellow brit.

Grian wanted to cry. He just lost 4 of his longest friends. He had known them ever since he went to Japan (even if he only saw Gareth's ghost).

Grian felt a hand on his shoulder, and looked back to see Taurtis. Taurtis had been there for him from the very beginning.

Grian really didn't want to let Taurtis go.

"You say what you need to say, and you play who you need to play! If somebody's in your empire's way you crush them and leave them behind." Taurtis yelled at Grian.

Grian had decided to leave Evo to try and join Taurtis, but it had backlashed as Taurtis had taken it wrong, and Grian's Evo friends thought the same.

They all thought that he just wanted Taurtis to join the Grian empire so they could take over another server.

"I'll shut my mouth, and I'll let you go. Squidy would be safer that way." Ze said solemnly.

"I'll just sit back while you run the show, since you just love to ruin my streams with your antics." Netty spat at him, angered after all the on stream pranks he's pulled.

As Grian built alone in his big lonely base in hermitcraft he couldn't help but feel lonely. Words of past friends bounced through his mind as he tried to work on his build.

Sam's words rung in his head. His old friend who always teased Grian about his nationality. The american really hated to see most of his friends abandon him.

The words of his high school friends appeared in his head. His many judges and fellow builder friends. None of his friends really judged their builds right. Though his friends actually wanted to participate, not sit back and judge.

Words of Taurtis shattered his soul. His bestest buddy since high school, his nemesis in most building games. Grian regrets pushing Taurtis to join the Grian Empire so much. If only he hadn't pushed so hard then maybe people would have believed that he wasn't leaving for his own gain for the empire.

The evolutionists' words cut through him like a sword. His old prank buddies. They all hated him for the pranks he's pulled on them.

Grian was scared. He was scared he'd have to go through all of that with the hermits.

All he needed was some time to think. He wanted to know how to change the story. 

He tried to stay away, avoid getting pulled into their daily lives. He avoided people so if he ever got close to anyone he couldn't leave them in the background. He didn't push people into anything. Lastly he didn't want to prank anyone too hard.

He wouldn't have a repeat of the past...

He couldn't... right?
