'Did you see the new statue Stoney carved?' Louis asked me as we walked home.

'Yeah. I was surprised how perfect he built that horse. It looked exactly real.' I answered.

I, David Parker and my best friend, Louis Steve admire Stoney's statues. He carved stone into birds, horses and other animals. For some reason, he never built the statues of people. We didn't know why.

We passed a few streets and then finally reached my home. I waved Louis goodbye and rang the doorbell. A few seconds later, my younger brother, Jacob opened the door. As soon as I walked in, he sticked out his foot to trip me. He has been doing this for years. I might have fallen the first couple of times, but now I always look down while walking if he's near me.

I climbed up the stairs and ambled towards my room. I opened my closet door and saw an ugly green monster staring right at me.
