Everything went back to normal as i saw Jinx staring at me while Raven was by my side

Jinx: Do i need to answer another question?

Raven: No...

Me: We're good thank you

Jinx: Very well

She floated back down as the blue smoke surrounded her, she went back inside the lantern and fell into my arms as i stared at it.

I looked to Raven and she shook her head, walking back into the vault i placed the relic back in it's pedistal. Coming back out the vault closed as i sighed and ran my hair through my hair

Raven:... What did she show you?

Me: That Salem was human... Ozma died and Salem tried bringing back

Raven: She became immortal, then they left the earth and Ozma had kids with Salem, they fought and he died and...

Me: My spirit was made to protect the maidens

We stayed in silence as the words of what would happen if the relics were gathered floated in my mind

Me: If Ozpin knew what would happen if the relics were gathered why did he hide it from us?

Raven: I... i don't know

Me: Well let's go back to the others

She nodded and we decended the pillar by turning into birds and flying down. Going through the opening we turned back to normal

Walking through the streets of the Mistral i couldn't help but think about it all and it seems Raven couldn't help but do the same.

All these people are oblivious to what's happening and it's the right thing to do... right? It's better to not know about the problem then to be ignorant about it

I felt something bump into my chest, i saw "Cinder" stumble back as she quickly hid behind me

Me: What's wrong?

Cinder: T-These men... they're trying to kill me

I wasn't sure if she was being serious but she was confirmed when a group of men came running around the corner and stopped infront of me when they saw "Cinder" behind me

Observing them i saw that they were armed, one guy carrying a pair of duel dust daggers, another had a whip with a dust chamber connected to it.

The tallest carried a greatsword with fire dust planted into the handle and the last had a lance and a shield.

Tall guy: Oi, give us the girl

The civilians around us began moving away as if they knew that a fight was going to happen

Me: What did she do?

Duel knives: What does it matter!? We want her dead!

Tall guy: Easy now Dan, I am Davis and that woman stole from us

Me: Well i hardly see how you have to kill her

The guy with the whip seemed to grow impatient and tried to hit me, i raised my arm in defence and my aura took the damage but it wrapped around my arm.

I yanked him closer as he came flying towards me, i grabbed him by the throat as he came close and slammed him into the ground.

Lance guy: Larry!

Davis: Hold it Arin, he made his choice.

I stared at "Larry" as he smirked and activated some lightning dust sending an electrical current running through me.

I shouted out in main as my muscules spasmed from the lightning. I tried choking Larry but couldn't seem to move my body.

Raven dashed off running away?! Cinder went to hide within the crowd and i actiavted my semblance, creating a barrier around my wrist forcing the whip off me

Me: Damnit Raven

I got up and threw Larry at his teammates as his whip came off me and my barrier vanished.

I focused on my negative emotions as they got ready to fight me, my Silver eyed powers activated as the aura glowed around me

They came charging in and Larry went to bind my legs, i jumped over it as Arin lunged at me, i grabbed his lance and propelled myself off it sending a kick his way.

Davis swung at my and i formed a blast in my hand to counter his attack, he got knocked back slightly as Dan came in to stab me from behind.

I flipped behind him and did a handspring kicking him towards his teammate forcing him to slash Arin. I charged up another blast as i stood up.

Aiming at them i smirked and fired small but quick attacks catching them off guard. Arin was able to block most of them while the others weren't so lucky and their auras took a heavy toll.

I felt something pierce my side and i looked down to see that one of the knives had been thrown into me.

My aura flickered as my eyes lost their glow, i fired one last blast towards them creating a huge explosion that eveaporated them.

I fell the the ground and held my side in pain. My vision blurred as i felt arms hook around me before i passed out.

Timeskip

My eyes fluttered open and i let out a groan of pain. I tried to sit up but i felt a twinge of pain and my hand shot to my side to hold it.

Looking around the room it seemed i was in someone's bedroom, it was fell furnished enough but i was snapped out my thoughts when the door opened.

It was "Cinder" but her hood was down, apart from those bandages on her face and her shorter hair she looked exactly the same... like when i killed her

Cinder: You're awake!

Me:... How are you alive?

She sighed and walked over to me, one of her feet left a heavier sound and she was limping with the other one. She sat down and looked at me

Cinder: Honestly i don't know... one moment you killed me and the next i'm laying in a bed with this

She pulled up her robes to show that she had a prosthetic leg where her real one used to be before i destroyed it

Cinder: When i woke up i had no idea who i was, no maiden powers, hell not even an aura

Me: Where did you wake up?

Cinder: Mistral. An old couple found me and took me in, gave me a home and a family... sadly they've passed

Me: I'm sorry about that...

She chuckled confusing me as she hiked her robes back down

Cinder: You should be apologizing for killing me... and i should apologize for saying those things about Neo

Me: Why did you say those things?

Cinder: I wanted you to kill me

I stared at her baffled as i slowly got up and leaned against the headboard

Cinder: Salem took me in when i was scared, lonely and vulnerable. She forced me to become one of her minions, to attack Amber and to invade Beacon... she planted this Grimm bug in my head that made me obey her, i couldn't tell people what she had done otherwise i'd die

Me: I'm... i'm so sorry

Cinder: You didn't do it... Anyway, once i learnt that you could kill me i kept provoking you until you did it but somehow i woke up in Mistral, free of Salem's control. So thank you Y/N... y'know if you weren't married i'd kiss you for what you've done for me

Me: How'd you-

Cinder: Your ring

I paused and looked down to my left hand and realised that i was indeed wearing a ring, i shook my head and chuckled which hurt

Me: I need to get back to them

I tried to get up but with little to no effort Cinder was able to push me back down.

Cinder: In the state you're in i'm suprised you're up, sorry but you'll have to stay with me for awhile

I sighed and glanced over to her wrapped up arm and eye, she must have noticed this and held her arm close to her

Cinder: Our fight still had repercussions on me... and you it seems, and you look like you just had surgery

She gestured to me and i noticed that i had got my top on, i had bandages around my waist but my burn near my heart and scars from when i was young were still present

Me: Well not all of them are from you

Cinder: I would've thought so, your arm it's... like mine

She gestured to the pure black arm left for me by the Other me, i heard rustling and saw she had unwrapped the bandages around one of her fingers.

I couldn't see much but it was obviously heavily burnt. She re wrapped it and smirked.

Cinder: Guess we both have scars...
