Unknown POV:
When I saw my mate fall to the ground I growled angrily at whoever would hurt her.
I howled to let my pack know I have found her. I went to a nearby tree with clothes in the trunk of it and shifted back into myself.  I changed then picked up the red wolf and ran to the pack house and then to the pack house's doctor.
"Please help her Jessica."
"Alpha ,what happened to her? "
I was starting to get upset and then took a deep breath.
"She was running away from something and was injured I don't know much other than that."
"I will do all I can Alpha please wait until I am done I will link you when I am. "
I was about to argue with her but just nodded my head and walked out.

*Hours Later* Kayla's POV
When I started to wake up I heard a Burnett woman say out loud "Your awake let me get the Alpha." she smiled at me and then five minutes later a man not far from my age with black hair and hazel eyes ran in and asked me.
"Are you okay?"
"Y-yeah what h-happened?"
"You fainted in the forest and I brought you here. "
I went wide eyed when I got the scent again and closed my eyes.
"We're mates aren't we?" I asked getting teary eyed.
He just wiped my tears away and climbed on the bed beside me and sent Jessica away.
"Why are you crying Love? "
"The place I was running from tortured me and-and-"
"Shhh~ it's okay your in my pack now, your safe from him. "
I thought to myself "Should I tell him about me being a princess? "
