E10 • S1 - Chapter Ten
As Shivani turned around to see who was behind her, her eyes widened as she saw the same guy who appeared in her dream, "You?!"
The guy, nodded slightly with a small smile on his face. Shivani rubbed her eyes, she couldn't believe the guy of her dreams, was standing right infront of her.
"You... you're the one from my dreams!" Shivani said pointing at him, the man steadies himself, looking at Shivani with an unreadable expression. He looks just as he did in her dream-calm, yet intense.
"That's right. I'm Priyanshu. It seems we're finally meeting in person." Priyanshu said, smiling as he took his hand out for a handshake, which Shivani did.
As she looked at him, she saw someone else standing behind him - trying to hide themselves. Shivani walked further to see the person, and saw a girl with familiar face.
"Hey," Shivani spoke with a smile. The girl, came forward and waved at her.
"Hello.." She said as she smiled, getting comfortable with the humans present in the small cave like tunnel. "Thankyou, for the bottle that day."
"Ah, don't mention it!" Shivani waved her hands as she dismissed the spoken sentence. "Everyone should help out each other. Myself Shivani,"
"I'm Drithi," Said the girl and shook hands with Shivani. The guy stood back, watching the interaction between the girls.
Shivani looked at Piyanshu and then at Drithi, "Do you know him, Drithi?"
Drithi nodded, "Yes, he's appeared in my dreams, urging me to come here."
Priyanshu, gesturing towards the archway, said, "Then it's good you're here. We have more to discuss, but we should find a safer place."
A bright light emerged from somewhere behind him, blinding Shivani once again. He looked at the girls before speaking, "Let's go. We've another guest coming."
Drithi and Shivani, both visibly weary but driven by a shared sense of purpose, walk along a winding path leading through the ancient fortress.
Shivani looked around, her curiosity piqued. "This place feels... strange, like it's waiting for us."
They move through the archway and follow Priyanshu to a hidden chamber, its entrance concealed by vines and overgrowth. Inside, the room is dim but protected from the outside world. As they settle in, the sound of footsteps approaches.
A shadow, slightly disoriented enters the chamber as the girls hold each other's hand tightly, slightly scared.
Shivani saw the face of the person that entered, "Rudra? I didn't expect to see you."
Rudra looked at the Priyanshu, shocked to see him, "I took a rickshaw here, you know with you and then ended up at this... ancient fortress. I think we're all here for a reason."
Priyanshu nodded. "Yes, Rudra. You, too, have been guided here. All of you have a connection to this place and to each other."
Drithi frowned, "Connection? What do you mean?"
Priyanshu spoke sitting down, his tone serious, "Each of you possesses unique abilities linked to the ancient energies of this Qilla. You've been having dreams because it was time for you to come here and unlock your potential."
Shivani crossed her arms, "Unlock our potential? This sounds like something out of a fantasy novel. What exactly are we supposed to do?"
Priyanshu smiled slightly, "It's not fantasy. It's reality. Your powers are dormant, but they're tied to this place. The Qilla holds the key to awakening them. I appeared in your dreams to guide you here, as each of you has a role in maintaining the balance of these energies."
"Powers? What kind of powers are we talking about?" Rudra asked, confused.
Priyanshu gestured to a large, ancient map on the wall, "Powers tied to elemental forces, ancient magic, and the very essence of the earth. They're meant to be discovered and honed. The Qilla is a place of convergence, where your paths cross and your abilities will begin to surface."
"So, what now? How do we begin to understand these powers?"
Priyanshu stood up, "The first step is to trust each other and to explore what you can do. The Qilla itself will help guide you. Each of you will start to sense your abilities in different ways. It's important to work together and support one another."
Shivani nodded, with a sense of resolve, "Alright. If this place and our dreams brought us here, then we need to see this through."
Priyanshu smiled at her words, "Exactly. We'll start with some basic exercises to help you connect with the energies of the Qilla. You'll need to be patient and open to the process."
