Enterprise: Admiral Kenneth is coming with you?

Evan: Yes

Illustrious: at least Evan sama safe now as Admiral Kenneth is coming along as well

Evan: I guess that's true

That night, I was at the canteen discussing about what happened during the naval exercise with some of my shipgirls

Glorious: so what are you going to do now Evan?

Evan: I'll set up a volunteer list for shipgirls who want to accompany me to Askr. I'll select only six shipgirls so if there's more than six candidates, I'll select randomly

Enterprise: I see

Evan: For now let's rest up for tomorrow

Enterprise: Roger/Ryokai

Evan: Also, how's the babies you three?

I turned my attention to Glorious, Lexington and Valiant

Glorious: They're doing alright

Valiant: just a few more months before we go into labour

Evan: alright

Valiant: Let's finish our tea before it gets cold

Evan: Right

We then spend the rest of the night chatting about the naval exercise until it was time for bed

The next morning, I woke up and continued my routine of getting ready before going into my office. Once I'm in my office, I instructed a manjuu to deliver the list I have made for volunteers who wanted to accompany me to the kingdom of Askr to investigate what is going on over there. The manjuu nodded before leaving with the list. After the manjuu left, I made my way to the canteen to have breakfast. Once I have reached the canteen, I grabbed my food and sat alone until Glorious, Valiant, Lexington, Nepgear and my two secretary ships, Enterprise and Illustrious, sat around me. Noire went back to Lastation as there's an emergency happening over there and she needs to go back

Glorious: Good morning Evan

Glorious greeted me as she set her food down on the table

Lexington: Did you have a good sleep last night?

Lexington asked me with a lustful smile for some reason

Evan: Good I guess

Enterprise: What's happening today evan?

Enterprise asked me as we dug into our food

Evan: I've set up the volunteer list for those who wanted to accompany me to Askr. If you're interested write your name down on the list

Illustrious: I see Evan sama

Evan: it's at the news board around the anchor fountain

Enterprise: Right

Evan: however, if you both write your names down on the list, only one of you will go. The other will have to stay behind and lead the others in my absence since you both are my secretary and vice secretary ships

I said, looking at Enterprise and Illustrious

Enterprise: Understood

Illustrious: mou

Illustrious pouted a little before going back to her smile

Valiant: How many days will you give us?

Valiant asked me and I pondered for a moment

Evan: three days perhaps. Until then, I'll decide on what mode of transportation to take to Askr

Valiant: alright

Evan: Gear, how is the Nimitz?

Nepgear: the Nimitz is still undergoing repairs Evan

Evan: I see. Continue working on it.

Nepgear: Hai!

Evan: if you can't finish it in time then I'll have to consider other means of transportation to go to Askr

Three days later, I grabbed the volunteer list and saw that it was full of names

Evan: doesn't surprise me at this point

I said before going back to my office to start shortlisting people. as I was skimming across the list of names, I contacted Nepgear through my Azurphone

Evan: Gear. Is the Nimitz ready yet?

Nepgear: it's still not ready yet Evan. Sorry

Evan: At this rate, I might have to use Big 1 or one of my other ships, like the Charles De Gaulle. Gear, continue repairing the Nimitz while I'm gone. I'll use other means of transport to go to Askr

Nepgear: Hai

Nepgear acknowledged and I ended the call before going back to shortlisting people from my list

Evan: And there it is, Big 1 might be used to go to Askr. Don't worry, Admiral Kenneth knows about the existence of Big 1 so he won't be surprised to see it. With that said, see you next time! Big 1 hasshin!

*Big 1 control room - Evan's Azur Lane Base

*Evan POV

That night, I went inside the control room of Big 1 and sat down on one of the seats. After sitting down, I looked at two random empty seats and saw two girls, one with pink hair, the other with light blue hair staring at the controls before looking up at me smiling before they faded away, leaving only a telescope and a rod respectively

Evan: Big 1, I might need to use you to go to Askr soon

I said before drifting off to sleep

???: Princess Elincia. Can you tell me more about the summoner

someone walked into my quarters and asked while I was grooming myself

Elincia: Lord Evan is a naval commander back in his world. as a result, he can't stay in Askr for long since his word needs him too

???: I see
