-   Interview   -

How long have you been writing for? And how did you begin your writing journey?

"Only since 2020. Secrets In The Sunset is my first ever story. Other than that, I used to write poetry for fun when I was younger."

Which of your books is your favourite so far and why?

"It used to be Secrets In The Sunset but now I think it's For Everything I Am. The overall storyline captured my heart as well as the fact my writing had improved by the time I was working on that story."

What is your trick for coming up with a plot line and characters?

"Honestly? I just start writing and let the plot and characters decide themselves. I start off with a general idea but never know where it's going to take me."

If there was one thing that you wish you hadn't done on your writing journey, what would it be?

"Worry too much about if others will like what I'm writing or trying to please everyone. Some will like or even love my work, others will dislike or possibly hate it/find it boring. But at the end of the day, it's my imagination written down into words. I pour my heart into my writing and not only is it a creative outlet but it's therapeutic since I tend to insert my own experiences and personality as well. I appreciate those that show me love and support. Those who don't, I hope they can find a story that captivates them."

What would your #1 advice be for people who are looking to improve their writing?

"1) Always write with passion! If you're not passionate, don't waste your time or step away until the passion resumes. Readers can tell when you're not passionate. 2) Do research and more research. The more realistic, the better. 3) Read books outside of Wattpad. Pay attention to the layout of the story and how things such as dialogue is written. 4) I use Grammarly. It's not perfect but even as a native English speaker, I mess up. It's helped me improve my writing a ton and remind me of things I had forgotten over the years."

Are you a writer by profession? Or is this something that you just love doing on the side?

"I am not a writer by profession. It's just something I decided to try one day and have loved ever since!"

What message would you like to tell your readers right now?

"THANK YOU! Seriously. I have so many readers that jump to the opportunity to read my updates and have read most or all of my stories and it warms my heart with all of their love and support. Even the ones that just so happen to give one of my stories a shot, I appreciate them taking the time out of their day to spend it with one of my creations. The love keeps me going!"

What is your criteria when publishing a new chapter for your readers to see?

"Read over it at least twice; once silently and the second time out loud. Silently, I check for typos or things I just don't like. Out loud, I make sure it's not repetitive or confusing. Reading it aloud helps me catch things I didn't when I read silently. Other than that, I just add my photos and/or gifs I searched diligently for or made and hit publish!"

If you were given the opportunity, would you publish your books into the real world? And what would that mean for you?

"I would! I've thought about it quite a bit recently and may just take the time out to edit and publish it outside of Wattpad or submit to publishing companies. It would mean everything to me if I was given that chance!"

If you are in a slump with writing, what do you often choose to do?

"Read other stories, re-read my own story to reignite my imagination, watch movies in the same genre or general plot (if possible), or I listen to music that makes me think of the storyline. Sometimes stepping away altogether is best, too. I also clean my house because the clutter sometimes halts my creativity."

Where do you usually get your inspiration from?

"Random things. Usually my own imagination haha! On Secrets In The Sunset, it was just a thought of "what if Taehyung wasn't famous"... side note: the story is totally different from what I originally had in mind. Bad At Love was just a side story I wrote to help me out of writer's block. I had no idea for that one, I just started writing and went with it. On For Everything I Am, I got inspired by seeing videos of Tae with kids. And with Dirty Deeds, I was inspired by a Tik Tok about imagining Taehyung as a rockstar."

Are there any writers on this platform that inspire you?

"Oh TONS! But some of them are  GucciTaeKook_ , BreBangtan , MagicalMochii , and LovelyandBubbly "
