How long have you been writing for? And how did you begin your writing journey?

"I've been writing for almost 3-4 years, and it has been the most amazing and slightly stressful thing I've ever done. I started writing after young me decided to write a collab fanfiction with my friend.

It was terrible.

We deleted it after 1 year of struggling to even remember the password to the username or even the email that we used.

After that, I wrote two other terrible books, 2 decent ones and finally settled with keeping Second Lead as one of my best works so far.

Which of your books is your favourite so far and why?

"Second lead is definitely my favourite works so far. I've written and deleted quite a few books on my journey, and Second Lead was the first book I decided to keep after re-reading it.

The feedback I got on this book was beyond what I expected, and I loved it. It made me really happy that readers also enjoyed my book as much as me- if not then way more than me."

What is your trick for coming up with a plot line and characters?

"Well, I usually start in my imaginary land with a phenomenal line I come up with either in the shower or while daydreaming.

I build the story from there, projecting parts of myself into each of the characters I write to leave my traces behind. As I write, new ideas start out in my head which seem way better than the ones I started out with. So I keep a fresh ending in mind and write again.

For me, I've always winged at least half of my book. And that's what actually made it much better in my case. What was going to be just a simple book turned out to have a few plot twists that I hoped would make sense to my readers.

Surprisingly, it did.

As for the characters, I start out with a rough idea of the story and add the characters as the story proceeds. I never have a concrete idea over how many people I will include, but at the end of the story I love all of them. They're my own."

If there was one thing that you wish you hadn't done on your writing journey, what would it be?

"Delete my books.

I was insecure about my writing and ended up deleting most of my works which had a pretty good storyline going. I also deleted a book I was writing with my ex friend because I had to cut her off and that book held many memories with her.

Terrible decision, honestly.

I can't help but regret that decision, and if I could go back I would change it. But since I can't, I'll be rewriting them."

What would your #1 advice be for people who are looking to improve their writing?

"Keep writing.

I know it seems like a stupid advice to give, but I swear it works. I started out as a horrible writer with terrible grammar, no-sense storylines and no proof reading qualities.

And now, well...my grammar...uh...

Just kidding. I developed most of my writing skills as I kept writing, and I got to a place where I can proudly say that I'm quite alright. I still have to develop by a lot (I'm no Dan Brown) but I'm getting there as I write. You will too."

Are you a writer by profession? Or is this something that you just love doing on the side?

"Oh God no. I would be a broke writer for sure. However, I am working to be a content writer as a profession. Writing on wattpad is a hobby I deeply enjoy though."

What message would you like to tell your readers right now?

"You exist? Wow.

I'll stop making lame jokes now. Sorry.

Hi there! Thank you so much for reading my work. If you commented, voted or even just silently read the book till the end and enjoyed it, I'm really glad. If you didn't like it, do leave some constructive criticism.

To any of you aspiring writers reading this, I assure you that you will one day be way better than I ever will be. Have mercy on your mistakes, love your works and be patient with yourself. It's alright if you're having a writer's block, you'll eventually get past it."

What is your criteria when publishing a new chapter for your readers to see?

" 1)Reread it.

I write about 1500-2500 words every chapter, so I just know that my clumsy self would have made tons of typos. So re-reading is a must. Also, I check up on the plot to make sure it makes sense. If not, I edit the chapter.

2) That's it.

That's pretty much all I do. Re-reading solves 89 of my 100 problems. I still miss typos, god bless my reading skills, but re-reading is my criteria."

If you were given the opportunity, would you publish your books into the real world? And what would that mean for you?

"I would love to publish it, but I feel like I would have to develop a lot to actually have a hard copy of my own book. If I ever do publish one of my works into the real world, it would mean a lot to me.

Writing makes me happy, publishing it to readers makes me happier and reading their feedback makes me the happiest. So I would miss the comments every chapter, but I'd love publishing it."

If you are in a slump with writing, what do you often choose to do?

"Leave the app for a while and take a break. If that doesn't work, I force myself to write small bits of the story.

It turns out terrible, but I keep writing until I start making sense. Soon after, I come out of the slump and do better than ever.

This really works for me all the time. I hate the process, but I love the results."

Where do you usually get your inspiration from?

"Literally anywhere. The outside, the internet, my house, my dog, a song, my friends- there is no set place really. I start thinking about something after it persists in my head for a little, and it turns into a book."

Are there any writers on this platform that inspire you?

"Absolutely! Unfortunately I've forgotten most of their usernames, but some of them are TheAnonymousDude

and just-taesing. Their writing is so good, honestly I love reading their books. Not just that, they both talk about real serious issues of the world while telling a beautiful tale, and I find it absolutely beautiful."
