As Lydia awoke the next morning, she sluggishly picked up a pillow next to her and dropped it onto her sticky face. She moaned.

Lydia laughed at how revolting she must look at that moment. She hauled herself off the bed and made her way into the bathroom connected with her room, where she found her face smacked onto a wall. She opened her eyes, properly this time, confused. Suddenly it dawned on her. She wasn't in her own house. She was in the building of which they want to achieve the impossible. Which, unfortunately, involves her.

2 months later...
All the training of the last 2 months could not prepare Lydia for the gut wrenching feeling she felt at that moment. All of the fighting, the survival skills, the hunting, and the tests that Lydia had been through, still left her clueless of what she might face. As she stood there in her bedroom, she contemplated. Her room's walls were a light blue, and she had painted it her self after she convinced the scientists to give her the paint, but you could barely see the blue with all of the drawings on the wall. Her bed looked exactly the same as per her arrival. She didn't want to change that. She wanted to remind herself what she did to herself, and how she must fix it.

She was currently packing a small backpack to take with her. A pair of extra clothes, water, emergency supplies, and of course, Oreos.
Oreos were her safe place. They had gotten her through the last 2 months. There melting sensation seemed to melt her problems away.
Mmhhmmm, Oreos.

Lydia exhaled deeply, slung her pack over her thickly clothed shoulder, and went out of the room. This was it. She trudged down the hallway, and came to the elevator.
'Ding'
Thankfully, the elevator that joined the lab was not ultra speed. In fact, it was rather slow. She liked that. She liked that at least something was slow when her life seemed to be whizzing past her in this awful place.
'Ding'
She re-closed the door.  She wasn't ready to leave yet. She got out her lipstick- a rose red shade- and wrote on the elevator wall.
'See you yesterday'
She picked up her things and walked out.

Ok. This chapter is really short, and I'm sorry, but I've been sick and have had so many tests these past few weeks that I had no time to write. Please forgive meeee. 🙃
