Rose and Seth didn't talk in the limo. She didn't dare to make fun of him, tease him, or even make stupid jokes. Seth looked troubled and moody. Rose felt guilty. Seth looked like he really did like Jessica. If he didn't, why would he be silent now and be thinking hard. Rose's heart crushed when she knew her own husband was in love with someone else.
They climbed out from the limo when they reached the castle. Seth was still motionless as they walked to their chambers. Rose wanted to ask him if he was all right but she was afraid that he might be angry. She wanted to know whether it was true, was Jessica his ex-girlfriend. He took off his blazer and slammed himself onto the couch.
"Are you okay?" Rose asked full of concern, sitting on the couch opposite to his. Seth shrugged and ignored her. He closed his eyes and leaned his body to the cushioned couch. "Seth?" Rose demanded. She just wanted to know if he was okay and if there was anything that she could do for him.
"I'm fine," Seth answered, still shutting his eyes. He loosened his necktie and threw it on the table. Rose knew he was lying. There was something inside her that encouraged her to know him better. "Can I ask you something?" Rose said eventually.
"If it’s about Jessica, there's nothing to ask. She's just my friend," Seth explained. He opened his eyes and found Rose, sitting in front of him and she had that worried look on her face. "You don't have to worry," he told her.
"You like her?" Rose started, with hope that he would tell her the truth. At least, if she knew the truth, she could do something to make it up to him. But deep down, inside her, she was hurting. Seth shrugged and got up to his feet. "I told you. We're just friends! Plus, I don't have to tell you everything, Rose," he howled and stormed away from there, into his rooms.
Rose sighed. Seth was now mad at her. She should have asked him when he was calmer. She had just made a wrong step. Now, everything was getting worse. She remembered about Jessica. She was a real beauty, no wonder Seth liked her. Not just that, she was also elegant, confident, rich, stylish and had soft palms; she was perfect. Rose wouldn't stand a chance.

"It's very important for you to learn all the Royal Etiquette," Madam Hartford started, circling around her. She was holding three thick books that Rose knew she would have to read. "These books, explain everything," she put down the books in front of her, on the white garden table. "You must finish them all."
Rose sighed. She took one of it and opened it pages. It was full of words and there wasn’t even a single picture in it. The book was dull, old and was written in an old English, Rose barely understood it. "This will take years," she whined. Madam Hartford smiled warmly. "Not if you read it everyday," she said.
They were sitting in the Royal Garden, between the castle compound. The garden was beautifully decorated with lots of flowers and bushes of different kind shapes. There was also a small lake, on the other side of the garden. She was having her princess lesson there, wearing a light pink short dress with a light brown hat on her head. Rose gave in to Madam Hartford as she knew nothing would change her mind.
It was Sunday yet she has to spent her time learning manners and attitude of a princess. Being a princess was no fun at all. She wished that she could turn back the time, back to her own life. She looked at her surroundings and spotted Seth, in the archery field, not too far from the garden. She saw him releasing the arrow and it hit the target. He was good; she could tell.
Since their encounter with Jessica, she and Seth had rarely spoken. He became more quite and spent most of his time in his bedroom. Rose turned her eyes towards her private tutor. "Fine. I'll read it," she said. "But can we stop now? I'm tired," she begged and smiled, showing her front tooth. She has been stuck there all morning.
Madam Hartford hesitated. The Queen would be mad if she knew that they were stopping. She had instructed her to teach Rose until she became a real, well-mannered princess. "Please," Rose pleaded, full of hope. Hartford didn't have the heart to say no to the young princess. "Alright. But you must promise me that you'll read the books," she shrugged.
Rose grabbed her hand and squeezed it. "Thank you, Madam Hartford," she thanked and lifted her hand. "I promise," she vowed. Madam Hartford smiled. Rose then got out from her chair and skated away from there. "Where are you going, my lady?" Madam Hartford called for her.
"I wanna watch Seth," Rose turned to her and then waved a goodbye before rushed towards her husband. She had never tried archery before, so she hoped that Seth would teach her how to. "Hi!" She greeted him cheerfully when she arrived next to him.
Seth lowered his bow and turned towards the voice. He sighed when he saw it was Rose. He turned back to his target, raising his bow. He stretched the string and released an arrow. It hit the target, almost at the centre. Rose clapped her hands. "You're good," she admired.
"I know," Seth smirked and took another arrow. Rose frowned but didn't say anything as she was getting used to his cockiness. Seth released another arrow and it hit the target again, almost at the centre. Then, he was getting tired so he lowered his bow and passed it to his servant.
He took a bottle from the servant and a towel. "What are you doing here?" He asked and opened the bottle, drinking it. "I thought you had a princess lesson?" He wiped off his sweats using the towel. Rose nodded. "Just finished. Do you know how boring it was? I could barely understood what she was trying to said and she gave me three thick books!" She complained.
He passed the bottle back to his servant and started to pack up his things. "Yeah, but its important for you. So, that you won't be a simpleton and embarrass me," he said, sarcasm hitting all the words. He put his backpack on his shoulder, walking away from there, leaving her behind.
"I'm not that bad," she said, walking a little faster, trying to catch him up. "Besides, I haven’t done ballet for a week now. Too busy," her brown eyes downcast, sad. Seth rolled his eyes. "I offered you to do ballet in front of me that day, and you refused. So, it’s not my fault. Its yours," he said, sounding innocent.
Rose sighed. Then, she remembered that she had sneaked in all her ballet equipment into her bag. She hadn’t taken it out. "Yes!" She got an idea. Now that she was free, she could do some ballet in her bedroom. Her bedroom was huge so it wouldn’t be a problem. Rose floated towards her room, leaving Seth behind.
"Where are you going?" Seth asked her, curiously. It was weird that she had actually left him behind. All this time, she was the one who had never stopped interrupting his life and teasing him. "Er- my bedroom! I gotta go! Bye!" She smiled and dashed into the building excitedly.
"Hey, don't forget we have a ball tonight!" Seth shouted to remind her. "Okay," Rose chirped and showed her thumbs. She opened the door, got into her chamber and shut the door. Seth mustn't know or he'll laugh. Rose stormed to her wardrobe and slid the door open. She took her handbag out from it and ruffled in it.
She found her discs and her ballet outfit. The outfit was now a little wrinkled as it was piled in the bag for almost a week. But she didn't care. All she cared about was that she wanted to dance. She got into her bathroom and changed into the outfit. Luckily, there was a stereo in her bedroom. She installed the disc into it and pushed the 'on' button.
Rose started to dance gracefully in her chamber. Turning around, stretching her legs and arms, did a simple split on the floor. She never stopped smiling, as this was the only thing that could make her happy. She felt like she was in an entire different world when she was dancing. Suddenly, her door was knocked. She was stunned. "Oh shit," Rose cursed.
She ran to the stereo and turned it off. Then, she tried to calm down and drew a deep breath. "Who's that?" She asked, shouting. "Its me. Seth," a man voice replied. What? What is he doing here? Rose started to panicking. He can't see her like this or he'll surely laugh. "Can you at least open the door?" She heard Seth, pleading.
There has to be another away. She motioned towards the door slowly, turning the doorknob. She stuck out her head through the door, without showing her body. "Yes?" She smiled to Seth, who was standing outside the room, wearing a curious look. Seth crossed his arms to his chest. "I heard music," he said.
Rose faked a laugh. "Oh-that one. I was just listening to some ballet music. I told you that I miss ballet," she lied. She was actually doing some. Seth nodded. "Really?" He mused. "Can you let me in?"
Rose gasped. He can't be serious. No matter what happened, he couldn’t see her in her ballet outfit. On their first meet, Seth told her that her body shape was awful. "No!" She startled. Seth was taken aback and raised his brown thin eyebrow. "Why?" He demanded to know.
"Because..." Rose tried to find an excuse. "Because I hate it if people disturb me when I'm listening to my music. It disturbs my concentration," she said. Seth lost his patience. "Okay, that's enough, Rose. Just open this door," he tried to push the door.
But Rose tried to fight back. "I can't. Just go away," she pleaded and now using both her hands to prevent him from intruding her room. But Seth was too strong and so Rose lost. She lost her balance and fell onto the floor. Seth pushed his way in and was shocked to find Rose in her ballet outfit. "Busted," he smirked.
"Shut up!" Rose ranted and stood up, rubbing her back that hurt because of the fall. "You're so mean!" She slapped his shoulder. Seth was silent. He was gazing at her, upside down. "Damn," he whispered to himself, mesmerized by her beauty. Rose was undeniable sexy in her outfit. Her legs looked longer and the outfit fitted her body perfectly. He couldn't control himself from staring on her gorgeous figure.
"What are you looking at?" Rose waved her hand in front of his face when she realised that he was staring at her. Seth shook his head, waking up from his perverted mind. "Nothing," he said, rubbing his eyes. He then turned his blue eyes and looked at her through those long eyelashes. "Why are you wearing that outfit?" He asked, suspiciously.
Rose gulped. If she told him that she was doing ballet in her bedroom, what would he think of her? He'll laugh at her, for sure. "I'm just trying it on. I told you that I missed ballet!" She ranted and hit his stomach. "Why are you intruding my bedroom?!"
"Ouch," Seth moaned and rubbed his stomach. "Now you know how it feels when someone meddles with your personal life," he said, his hands on his waist. "That's how I felt when you came to my room and forced me to watch that stupid movie."
"That was totally utterly different from this, Seth," she protested. "At least, I didn't push you until you fell onto the floor," she rubbed her back that was still hurting. Seth shrugged and then circled around her room. "This is quite big. Only, its so boring in here," he said, observing her room. He motioned towards her table and opened the thick book. "So, this is the book?" He asked, flicking it pages.
"Okay, mister," she crossed her arms. "What do you actually want?" She said firmly. Seth wouldn’t come this far if he just wanted to see her room. There must have been something else. Seth’s eyes were still on the book and he kept flicking its pages. Even he couldn't understand what it said in the book, no wonder Rose always whined. "I'm just teaching you a lesson, that's all," he lied.
Seth was actually bored. He didn't know what to do. He tried to read the newspaper, books, TV and Ipod but nothing worked. Plus, he was curious and wanted to know why Rose was excited all of a sudden. So, he decided to give her a surprise. He never thought that he would have found Rose in her ballerina outfit, which made her looked amazingly sexy.
"Yeah, right," Rose snorted and slammed herself onto her bed.

"Done!" Alexa chirped when she was done doing Rose's hair. Rose looked at herself in the mirror and had to admit that she did looked good. Her hair had been braided and she was wearing an elegant V-neck white Stella McCartney short dress. She had been wearing a lot of dresses since she became Princess Rose. "Thanks," she turned herself to Alexa.
Alexa smiled and bowed down. She has deep brown eyes, tanned skin and had freckles on her cheeks with shoulder-length blond hair. "Your welcome, my lady," she said kindly. Rose got up to her feet. "Lets go out," she said and Alexa nodded. She followed her future queen from behind.
Rose went out from the room and found three women in bodyguard's outfit standing in the living room with Mr Jameson. He rushed towards her and bowed down. "Forgive me, Princess Rose. Prince Seth is already waiting for you in the car. But I'm not here for that," he started and smiled. "The prince told me that you didn't like your men bodyguards, isn't it?" He asked.
"Er- not that I didn't liked them. Its just..." she stuttered. It was just that she felt awkward when her bodyguards followed her around the school and actually heard her gossip session with Lily and Cassidy. Even her friends complained. So, she wanted a woman as her bodyguard. She had told Seth about it. At least, she wouldn’t have to feel that awkward with a woman as her bodyguard.
"Yes. I'm aware of that. So, I've set new bodyguards for you, Princess," he said and pointed at the three women. They bowed at her. "Greetings, my lady," they said simultaneously. Rose smiled and raised a hand, awkwardly. "They'll be guarding you 24 hours. So, nothing to worry about. They're a master in martial arts," Mr Jameson continued.
Rose nodded and gazed on them. They did look like they learned martial arts. Slightly scary but it was good. This meant that those cheerleaders wouldn’t be messing with her any longer. "Shall we get going, Princess?" Mr Jameson showed her the way out. "Oh-okay," Rose grinned and walked to her limo.
