"Talk please.. I'm getting bored," Alex whined and nudged her side. Rose had been quite and never stop staring on Jessica and Seth who was sitting with their friends on the beach chair. "Sorry," Rose said as she didn't feel like talking to anyone. Then, Cassidy and Lily approached them and they're holding gifts for Seth. "Rose...." Cassidy started and showed her the box.

        Rose sighed. She knew that they wanted to give Seth the presents but they needed her help to talk to him. "Please...." Cassidy pleaded, blinking her eyes. Rose turned her eyes towards Seth and saw that he was now alone. She wondered where everyone has gone too. "Fine," Rose grumbled and inched towards him. Lily and Cassidy squealed and followed her from behind.

         Suddenly, Rose hesistated as she saw that Seth was closing his eyes and had his headphone on. "He's sleeping," Rose whispered to her friends. Cassidy pushed her shoulder slowly. "Just go wake him up. Please.." she begged. Rose looked sharply at them before taking a deep breath. She approached him slowly and sat on the beach chair next to him. "Seth?" she called for him. 

       Seth took off his shades and saw Rose sitting on the chair next to him. "My friends... they want to give your birthday present," she stuttered. He just glanced at her before putting back his shades on.

            "They've joined your fan club since they were just five," she continued but still no respond. Rose turned towards her friends and made a hand gesture to ask they to come. Lily and Cassidy skated excitedly towards them. 

        "Prince Seth, please accept this gift," Cassidy said, trying to be polite and control her excitedness. She extended her hands that was holding the present towards him. "I've been waiting for this moment for a long time," she added in awe. Still, Seth wasn't responding. Rose cleared he throat and nudged him slowly.

          Seth opened his shades once more. "What are you saying?" he asked and took off his headphones. Cassidy and Lily exchanged looks, puzzled. Rose closed her eyes as she is used to his heartless behavior. Then, Luke, Alan and Jessica came back to them. Luke glared at Rose who was still sitting on the chair. "That is Jessica's seat you're sitting on," Luke said, glaring sharply on her.

        Rose crinkled her nose before she realised that she was sitting on a purse She stood up and held the purse on her hands, trying to clean it. "I'm so sorry," she said apologitecally and kept wiping the purse. Jessica then seized the purse from her and looked at her, slightly annoyed. 

           "I have to go," Rose drawled as everyone was staring at her just like she did something really bad. She ran away from there and refrained herself from crying. "Rose, wait!" Alex shouted for her and gave them a sharp look before he chased her. Seth looked down and closed his eyes. He was slightly dissapointed as he was the one who should chase her, not Alex.

       Rose stopped walking when she realised that Alex was chasing her. "Rose," Alex finally reached her and stood infront of her. "You shouldn't run or they'll think that you're afraid of her," he said firmly. Rose looked down. "I couln't stay," she drawled, refraining herself from crying. 

       Alex sighed. He was burning with anger when he saw that they're bullying her. "Just ignore them. You didn't mean to sit on her purse, did you? You don't have to be sorry," he coaxed her. "I'm so clumsy," Rose sulked. "Why didn't I realise that I was sitting on her chair?"

           "That chair is for public. Anyone could sit on it so it's not hers, Rose," he assured. Rose shook her head. "No, its her place.." her words trailed off. "She's the real princess, not me,". Alex ran his hand through her blond hair, trying to think of something. "Okay, now, why don't we get back to the lodge? I'm sure Seth's going to open his presents soon," he suggested with hope that Rose would agree.

        She nodded slowly and walked back to the lodge. Alex followed her from behind. When they reached the lodge, everyone was already there, waiting for him to open the presents. Seth was sitting on a chair and a waiter was passing him his presents. "This is from Luke Van Woodsen," the waiter said and handed it to him.

      Seth opened it and it was a silver watch. "Thanks, Luke," he looked up and thanked him. Luke nodded and squeezed his shoulder. "No problem," he said. The waiter then passed the next present. "This is from Jessica Harper," she handed the gift. Seth smiled and took it. He opened the blue box and found a new MP3 in it. He took it out and observed it.

            "Wow, that's the newest model," Luke said, praising her gift. Rose looked down to the floor and had to admit that her gift was cool. Jessica knew that Seth loved to hear music. "Thanks," Seth thanked her. Jessica gave him a bright smile. The waiter then passed him a medium-sized green box to Seth. "No name on this, Sire," she said. Seth took it from her hand and opened the box. Inside it, he found a white teddy bear that was wearing his official prince suit.

           Rose recognised the teddy bear so she raised her hand. "Oh, that's my present," she said smiling and waving her hands. She bought him a teddy bear as she thought that maybe his teddy bear need a friend. Plus, Seth looked like he loved teddy bears. Everyone laughed.  Luke held Alan's shoulder as he was laughing. "Why'd you bought him a teddy bear? He's a guy," he said sarcastically.

           Rose sulked and looked down when she saw that even Jessica let out a small laugh. Well, she did buy the best gift for him. A teddy bear was nothing compared to the newest MP3 player. But, suprisingly, Seth was smiling as he beamed on the bear. He never thought that someone would actually give him a bear and it was wearing his suit. He glanced at Rose who was looking down. "Thanks," he whispered slowly so that no one heard him.

        Seth was looking at Rose from far as she was playing by the swimming pool with Alex and her friends. They were running around and splashing water to each other face; it looked fun. He crossed his arms to his chest and couldn't deniy that he was jealous to see Rose with Alex. If only he could be as cool as Alex, probably, he's the one who would be playing with her now. 

         Seth couldn't lie to himself that he was getting more attracted to her each day. He was always longing to see her laugh and smile but no matter how hard he tried, Rose would ended up crying because of him. He realised that only Alex could make her happy and he brought nothing but misery into her life. 

        Suddenly, someone tapped his shoulder so he turned himself. Jessica was standing behind him with his new MP3 in her hand. "Hey," she smiled. Seth just gave her a weak smile. She showed him the MP3. "Have you tried listen to it? I've downloaded your favourite songs into it," she said. Seth shook his head slowly. Jessica smiled and turned on the MP3. She chose a song and tried to put the headphone on for him. "Jess," Seth said, stopping her.

     Jessica ignored him and stuffed the headphone into his ear. She put the other one into her ear and played the song. "You still remember this song?" she asked hopefully as she listened to the song. It was the song that Seth played on the piano for her during their first date. The best moment in her life. A tear dropped from her eye as she looked up at Seth. His face was emotionless.

          "I miss that moment," she drawled and took a deep breath. "When you're still mine," another tear trailed on her cheeks. Seth looked to her and saw that she was crying. No matter how hard he tried to explain to her, she just wouldn't listen to it. Jessica moved closer to him and wrapped her arms around him. "I need you," she whispered and immersed her face onto his chest.

        Seth walked into his hotel room after he enjoyed himself in the spa. He found Rose, already on the bed and kept rolling over. She was freaking nervous and startled when Seth came into their bedroom. He motioned towards his lugage and took out his sleeping attire before turning to his wife. "Close your eyes, I wanna get changed," he instructed. Rose covered her eyes using her hands and her cheeks blushed.

         Seth unbutton his shirt and threw it into a basket. Rose peeped him through the gap of her hands as she couldn't control herself. Plus, its not the first time she had ever seen his perfect upper body. Then, Rose realised that he was going to take his pants off so she grabbed a pillow and used it to cover her eyes.

          He shrugged and let out a small laugh as he saw what Rose did. He changed his pants and put on a light blue V-neck shirt before saying, "I'm done," he inched towards the bed as Rose lowered the pillow. She winced on the bed and raised her hands to stop Seth from climbing onto the bed. "Stop!" she shouted. "You can't sleep on the bed!"

        "Why not?" Seth threw his hands up in the air and narrowed his eyes. "Look, go sleep on the floor if you didn't want to sleep with me," he suggested. Rose frowned. "You're the one who have to sleep on the floor. I was here first," she said firmly. Seth shrugged before pulling her up from the bed. "What are you doing! Let go of me!" Rose said as she struggled to stay on the bed but Seth managed to pull her away from the bed.

           "Have fun sleeping on the floor," Seth smiled and crawled onto the bed. Rose watched him as he pulled the sheets to his chin. She didn't want to sleep on the floor and she didn't want to loose to him. "If you insist! Fine, I'll sleep on the bed," she said and slammed herself onto the bed. Seth looked at her. "Suit yourself and don't forget to turn off the light," he said and rolled over to the other side.

         Rose lay on the bed quietly and pulled the sheet from him but Seth pulled it back. She closed her eyes and knew that she won't be sleeping tonight. Why? The first one was the fact that she was cold as Seth pulled the whole sheets for himself. Second, her heart was pounding fast and she must try her best to control herself. Rose rolled over and faced Seth's back. If only she could hug him and sleep in his embrace. She wanted that more than anything. 

       But she knew that it wouldn't come true. Seth liked Jessica and he would always liked her no matter how hard Rose tried to impress him. She sighed and closed her eyes, trying to get some peaceful sleep.

       Seth rolled over and slowly he opened his eyes. Rose was sleeping peacefully infront of him and he beamed on her. He smiled and admitted that she looked beautiful when she sleeps. He brushed a hair out of her face and kept gazing on her. Seth realised that she was cold as her hands    is brought together and her legs was bending. He got up and covered her body using the sheets. He felt slightly guilty that he took the sheets all for himself. 

       Seth lay back onto the bed and was facing her. He was too mesmerized by the sight of Rose sleeping. He started to stroke her hair and his heart was beating fast. He never felt this way to anyone before this, even not to Jessica. He leaned closer to her face and now his lips was only inches away from hers.

          Seth gulped and he knew that he won't be able to control himself. There's something so attractive about her that no one could ever resist. Not even the Crown Prince himself. He leaned more closer to her lips and about to kiss her. Suddenly, Rose shrugged as she felt something was approaching her. Slowly, she opened her eyes and Seth's eyes widened, shock.

          Rose screamed as she realise that Seth was only inches from her face. "Get away from me!!" she shouted and pushed Seth, causing him to fell off from the bed. Seth fell down from the bed and his shoulder hit the floor. "Ouch!" he moaned and rubbed his shoulder. Rose who was freaked out pulled the sheets to her chin. 

         Seth stood up to his knees and looked at Rose who was looking sharply at him. "What did you tried to do?" Rose shouted, demanding to know what happened. Seth raised his hands like a innocent person. "I didn't do anything. You were the one who came closer to me!" he lied. Rose mouth fell open and was suprise that he didn't admit it. "I saw what you're trying to do!" she ranted. 

       "What?" Seth asked, still pretending like he's innocent. He got up to his knees and sat on the bed. Rose winced away from him, afraid that he might lost control again. "You..." Rose stuttered, not willing to finished off her words. Seth shrugged. "I what? Stop it, Rose. It's your fault by the way. I've asked you to sleep on the floor but you didn't want to," he said.

        "Why I'm the one who have to sleep on the floor?" Rose said angrily. Seth lay back on the bed and ignored her. He closed his eyes. Rose realised that he was ignoring her so she rocked his body. "Wake up, jerk!" she called for him but Seth refused to open his eyes. He even covered his ears using his pillow. "I said wake up! You need to explain and admit that you tried to kiss me!" she said and kept rocking his body.

        Seth tried his best to ignore her and knew what she said is true. He did try to kiss her and he didn't know why. There's something about her that Seth couldn't resist no matter how hard he tried to hated her. She's too adorable to be hated. Rose stopped rocking his body as she realise that it was useless. He wouldn't admit his crime. 

          Rose climbed off from the bed and put her hands on her waist. "Fine! I'll sleep on the floor," she said as she was afraid that Seth might try to kiss her again even though deep inside her, she was craving for that. She motioned towards the wardrobe and took out an extra sheets. She spreaded it onto the floor and grabbed her pillow. Rose lay down on the floor and shut her eyes.

         Seth rolled over and looked down at Rose who was sleeping on the floor. He laughed as she was acting funny. Slightly, he felt pity for her but probably it was the right thing to do. He might lost control and tried to kiss her again.
