KAYLA'S POV                                                                                                                                         school was finally over and I was just putting my stuff in the locker when suddenly i bumped into someone and heard a voice well a girl voice to be exact.Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I totally wasn't watching where I was going  again i'm so sorry''.No problem I wasn't going where I was going to.She smiled at me and asked me if I wanted to hang out' I said yeah sure'.I foung out that her name was Vanessa me and her got along really well and became friends quickly and she was really nice it was really fun .My phone ringed and when I looked at it I saw that my brother had texted me.                        
Calum:kayla where are you plz answer ur phone ur making me go crazy right here answer please x( 

Man calum is such a worry wart I bet he's going crazy right now he seriously need to let it go I'm in high school for crying out loud I'm old enough to take care of myself just to make him feel better I'm going to text him

Me:calum calm down I'm just hanging out with my new friend where at the park down by the school.

Calum:wait did u say a new friend? is this friend of yours a girl or a boy if its a boy I wanna meet him:/

Me:first no its a girl second just stop being so overprotective ur my brother not motherand last we ar just hanging out that's it and I'll walk home u dont need to come get me okay?

Calum:ar u mad at me:(

Me:No I just wanna walk home and I'm gonna ask vanessa to come hangout with me at home .okay?

Calum;what no.

Me:why not

Calum:its dangerous kayla do u even know anything about her.

Me:yes and pleasssssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeee?if u let me hang out with her I promise to let u walk me to class everyday so u can "protect me from people".

Calum;fine but remember u just text promise me.

Me:yeah yeah.see u at home

Calum;kk be careful

Me:yeah yeah.:)

Oh man I didn't notice I was talking to my brother for that long cause when I looked at vanessa she had that puzzled  but amused look on her face.'sorry I was just texting my brother cause he was worried but he's okay now and u can come over if you  want to '.really I can thanks.she said. Its no problem my mom is making dinner so do you  want to stay over'.she just lighted up and said really I can,'?yeah sure and you  can meet the rest of the family.So we headed back to my house.,I'm home',!

Then I heard my little sister call out 'yay kayla's home kayla's home'. She can be embarrassing sometimes but she is my little sister my thought got interrupted by my little sister.kayla who is that?'oh this is myg friend vanessa and vanessa this is my little sister  maya'.hi I'm maya and your pretty.maya looked at me and smiled "wow your sister is so adorable and polite I wish mines was like that she's such a spoiled brat to me'.I was about to say something when my brother came through the door and called out my name.'I'm here'.he came in and just jumped at me and gave me a  crushing hug he really need to stop doing that he's going to squeeze me to death one day.'calum stop your embarrassing me'.   'How am I embarrassing you where at home'.   Yeah but I have somebody over remember'.  Oh yeah so where's this girl you where talking about '.  First don't be rude and second her names vanessa and third don't embarrass me '.  'Awwwwhh kayla's all grown up ".  He said making that stupid duck face. 'Shut up'. Kayla are you there I heard vanessa say and I was happy cause I was gonna introduce her to my brother.when she came in the front livingroom she was frozen standing there.'oh vanessa this is my brother calum and calum this is vanessa'.  H-h-hi i-i-im vanessa'. And I looked at calum and he just gave what looked like a flirty smile and he just said 'hey'.she just gave him a shy and nervous smile'. Then calum said something unexpected he himself looked surprise 'you have a nice smile'. . T-thanks.ummm vanessa do you want to go yo my room'.sure she said not breaking eye contact with calum.I grabbed her hand and took her upstairs and she was like red and a blushing mess.vanessa do you have a crush on my brother'.I said smiling sheepishly at her .she turned more red when I said that I liked messing with her it's funny.w-what of course not '.I gave her the "do you think I'm stupid look".Well maybe a little bit.I raised my eyebrows.okay fine I like him  just don't look at me like that'.aww thats cute  but watch out for that witch girlfriend of his shes like so face and mean to people but one he's here she's so nice.I made a witch laugh and we both laughed and fell on the bed.I git up a little to see a shadow under my door but I left quickly.huh I guess It was just my amagination and kayla you get to meet the rest of the girls tomorrow ok.'theres more okay I can't wait.wow this year might be a good year after all.

    CALUM'S POV

           When I got home I hugged kayla and and we where having an argument about how I embarrass her I mean I don't think so .Now thinking of it do I? Oh well.anyways I asked her who her friend was and she said vanessa and these rules of what to do whe I see her then I heard someone in the kitchen call kayla and she came out.'vanessa this is calum and calum this is vanessa . Wow vanessa was really pretty I ain't gonna lie to you she was just wow but I bet she already had a boyfriend.I felt this tingly sensation in my belly and I was thinking I can't like her  right I mean I have a girlfriend .my thought was interrupted by an angelic voice saying H-h-hi i-i-i'm vanessa .I mean she's cute flirting with her wouldn't hurt so I gave her my flirty smile and said hey she was so cute when she blushed  and I know she was nervos and shy around me cause girls are sometimes like that around me .she smiled and I was thinking wow she has such a nice smile and then like an idiot I blurted it out .'you have a nice smile'. 'T-t-hanks.I didn't think she could get anymore adorable .I forgot kayla was there until she said vanessa let's go to my room .they went to her room and I heard them talking and I wasn't being nosy or  anything I  just wanted to see if vanessa was by any chance talking about me.lucky guess they were talking about me. Vanessa do you like my brother? I heard silence then vanessa said of course not. well that hurt a little.then there was silence then a maybe a little from vanessa I was smirking to myself then she said 'okay I like him Just stop looking at me like that'.I smiled fully proud to myself for some reason then kayla said something else but I couldn't hear properly just something about witch and mean and her doing a witch laugh then they were laughing .I was done for now so I went downstairs but I  kept on thinking who was kayla talking about .I guess I'll just ask her later right now I need to go take a shower and call mom.
