I looked up at Sawada Akio. He was so handsome, and he looked as bright as the stars behind him.

"Who are you?" He asks.

"I'm Sakai Mana." I reply.

"So what are you doing out here Sakai-san?"

"I could ask you the same."

"Well I'm new around the area so I was just looking around, and then I found this big beautiful tree so I climbed up it. I thought I heard something so I jumped down, and then I realized you, so what about you? It's not safe for a girl to be out alone at night."

"I just went for a walk that's all, and so I thought I'd rest here.."

"You live around here right?" He says all of a sudden.

"Um.. yea, why do you ask?"

"Do you mind showing me around town?!" The gleam in his eyes as bright as a star.

"Haha sure." I say with a little laugh.

"Great! What about tomorrow?"

"What?! Tomorrow's school..."

"Oh shoot I forgot! I'm gonna go home now to get some sleep, you better go home too, goodbye!"

"Bye!" I wave and smile as he runs off. Hes really handsome. I bet he'll be really popular. he really does remind me of a shining star.

I walk home, thinking how I'd act around him at school. I think I'll just ignore him, and pretend I've never known him. I'll tell my friends that we broke up. Everyone saw us as the perfect couple. Some were jealous, and some were supportive. After all, there's a lot of boys that I could choose to be my boyfriend, but I can't feel the same way as any other boy as I felt for Yamato.

I walk inside, and the moment I step in everyone's heads turn towards me. They all start whispering and staring. I ignore them all and head to my classroom. There are only a few whispers and stares here thankfully. I scan the classroom and find Mei-chan.

"Meiiii-chaaannn ><!" I yell running towards her.

"Mana! What happened? I heard you broke up with Kibe-kun, is that true?"

I sit down into my seat behind her.

"Y..yea.." I reply, then I suddenly felt more stares, but the feeling quickly disappeared.

Class began and and everyone sat down.

"We're having a new transfer student today." Sensei says.

The boy walks in and immediately every girl start to whisper to their friends. Wait... he's that guy...

"Nice to meet you all. I'm Sawada Akio." He finishes with a smile.

"You can sit down next to Sakai-san." Sensei says to the transfer student.

"Ok!" He replies.

Ugh I'm tired of all these rumors. People are so curious as to why we broke up, but no one wants to ask me, not that I want to tell them. At least Mei-chan didn't ask.

"Sakaiiii-sannn!" I quickly turn around to find Sawada-kun running towards me.

"W-what Sawada-kun?" I ask.

"I heard a lot of rumors about you."

"From Yamato? I saw you hanging out with him earlier..."

"Yea a bit from him, but I heard you guys were dating and then you broke up yesterday."

"So?"

"Is that why you were outside yesterday?"

"It's not like it's any of your business." I say, getting up from the swing I was sitting on. I walk towards my home, leaving him behind speechless.

I open my door and off my shoes. I go to my room and throw my bag on the floor and pick up my cellphone to dial Mei-chan.

"Moshi moshi."

"Hey Mei-chan. I wanted to talk about the new kid."

"The transfer student? What about him?"

"What do you think of him?"

"He seems pretty nice. He's also kinda handsome... and he's popular, why do you ask?"

"I don't really know. He does seem a bit nice, but I think he's kinda nosy."

"What do ya mean?"

"Well he was asking about Yamato."

"Hmm. Maybe he was just curious. Maybe he didn't know he was being insensitive, after all, he is new. Maybe he just wanted to get to know you more or something."

"Hm. Maybe your right Mei-chan! Thanks a lot! Bye!"

And then I hung up. I changed into regular clothes, jeans with a t-shirt. I went outside and ran over to the big tree.

There he was, as if he was waiting for me. He was wearing a sweatshirt with jeans. He's looking up at the tree, which is in full bloom.

"Sawada-kun!" I tell running towards him.

"Sakai-san?" He says as if he wasn't expecting me to actually come.

"I'm sorry I ran away! I'll tell you everything!" I start, but before I can say anything he replies with something I would have never expected.
