Who's that girl? Who's that girl walking out with him? No, it can't be! It can't!

I'm Sakai Mana. I've caught my boyfriend cheating on me in junior high, but I'm over that. Even though we're still dating, I'm also cheating on him. At first it was for revenge, but eventually it was just for my boredom. The most I ever did was just hang out with them and called them my boyfriend. Many broke up with me when they find out they're not the only one, but I don't care about them. The only person I care about is Kibe Yamato. The boyfriend who I mentioned earlier, the one who cheated on me. I want him to feel heartbroken, just like I did. We're still dating, but I know he's still cheating on me.

Yama-chan said he'll come over after school, so I make sure to get a head start before he can come back. I get there before him and start cleaning up. I hear the doorbell, and I go open the door.

"Hey Mana." Yama-chan's an average looking boy, to me at least. Girls fawn over him a lot, but to me he's just a regular boy. He has messy black hair with brown eyes.

"Hi Yama-chan!" I reply all cheery. Even though we're both obviously cheating on each other, I still love him and glad that he wanted to come over today.

He takes his shoes off and then comes inside.

I live in an apartment by myself since my parents are always busy with work and traveling, and so are Yama-chan's. I think that's what brought us closer together.

He goes and sits in my room while I make dinner. Once dinner's ready, we sit across from each other and chat a bit.

"So Mana?"

"Hm?"

"I actually wanted to discuss something with you today.."

"Oh why so serious! Sure we can talk about it after I put these dishes away. I put the dishes away, and then we head to my room. We sit down on the white carpet near my bed.

"So?" I say.

"Well actually I know you're cheating on me." He says.

"And I know you're cheating on me too,
Yama-chan."

"Don't call me 'Yama-chan'"

"Why not? I've been calling you that for years."

"Well I know you don't really love me, and I don't really love you, so I think we should become adults now and face reality Mana."

How could he? How could he be this cruel? I dealt with when he cheated on me, but.. but..

"What do you mean?"

"I mean we don't love each other."

"How.." I manage to mutter.

"What?"

"HOW COULD YOU BE THIS CRUEL?!" I yell, not caring if the neighbors heard me.

"YOU.. WHY DO YOU THINK I'VE BEEN CHEATING ON YOU?! I SAW YOU WITH THAT GIRL ON OUR 1-MONTH ANNIVERSARY! I JUST.. I JUST WANTED YOU TO LOVE ME! I JUST WANTED YOUR ATTENTION!" I finish yelling now, out of breath.

"I'm sorry I didn't consider your feelings." And then he just gets up and leaves, looking a bit dazed. I go lock the door when he's gone, and then lock myself inside my room, tears already streaming down my face. I can't take this anymore, I can't! I can't! I go change, wash my face, and then go out for a walk to cool off. I head towards the big tree, where the bridge and the river is. It's really pretty at night, and that's the place where Yama-ch- I mean Yamato and I started dating, when we confessed, but funny, I can't remember which one of us confessed. I sit down, leaning my back against the big tree and close my eyes, listening to the water. I start to doze off, but then I hear rustling above me, and a boy jumps down.

He's pretty handsome, and he looks confident.

"Who are you?" I ask.

He looks at me, just noticing my presence, and says these two words that change my life,

"Sawada Akio."
