"Sakai-san, I like you." He says, with such a serious face.

"Wh..what? But we just met, how can you like me?" I reply, startled with his sudden statement.

"Even if we just met, I still love you, so will you go out with me, Sakai-san?"

"S-sure.. it's not like I have any reason not to date you."

"Do you really mean it?" He says, his face lighting up like a star, but again it seems like he wasn't expecting me to answer...

"Yeah."

"Ok then it's official we're boyfriend and girlfriend!" He says with a cute smile.

And that was the first time my heart skipped a beat for someone besides Yamato.

I meet up with him at the gate, and then we hold hands. We walk inside together, and everyone looks surprised. They're probably thinking something along the lines of,

"She got the transfer student already?" (Girls)

"Is he just another pawn?" (Boys)

We walk into class, and then we finally let go. I run over to Mei-chan.

"Mei-chan! I got a boyfriend :D!"

"Really Mana! That's great!" She says with a smile.

"Thanks for your advice! I'll help you get a boyfriend!"

"Haha, no thanks." She says with a smile, but a scary aura is surrounding her.

"Hey Mana." A voice says behind me, but I don't turn around.

"What are you doing here?" Asks Mei-chan to the guy behind me, though he ignores her.

"Mana, meet me at the roof during lunch, see ya. Oh, and if you don't come, I'll call your parents and tell them the news myself."

I hear him walk away. Ugh why couldn't I look at him! I don't plan on cheating on Akio, so I have to have my heart to Akio, not him.

Lunch. I dread to go to the roof, but I have no choice, he'll call my parents.

I open the door, and there he is, standing there.

"What do you want, Yamato?"

"So you came? I thought you wouldn't."

"Of course, I would idiot, you were gonna call my parents. What did you wanna talk to me about anyways?"

"What do you mean I was cheating on you?"

"Huh?"

"I don't know what you're talking about. I was spending our 1-month anniversary together, when we shared our first kiss?"

What? He.. he... I never got a look at the girl, but now I think I know who he's talking about.

"How... how could you?" I whisper, tears streaming down my face now.

"Mana, please don't cry. When I broke up with you I was dazed cause you started to yell, I'm sorry for not comforting you, but you're the one who was cheating on me."

"All I did was call them my boyfriend so what?! You're the one who was cheating on me."

"Mana, I have never cheated on you, and I never did, so please come back to me." And then he comes towards me, and embraces me in a hug, but I don't fight back.

"L-let me go."

"Not until you stop crying. I collapse onto my knees, but he still has his arms around me, and I just let everything out, I cry and cry and cry.

"Y-Yamato... I'm so sorry!" I yell out.

"It's ok Mana, it's ok."

I keep crying, and I can't stop.

Why did I do all of this? I feel awful. I can't believe it, it wasn't his fault, it was hers. I start to calm down a bit after a few minutes.

"Are you ok now?"

I nod, but he doesn't let go.

"Let's walk home together after this, Mana, and you can break up with Sawada-kun."

"O-ok.."
