Ch-3 Forced Alliance
Yara sighed in contentment while opening her eyes. However, that sigh turned into a gasp as she took in her surrounding. It wasn't her room. Neither was her home.
“Whose house is this?”
She immediately got up from the bed and sprinted towards the door. Luckily it was unlocked, so she peeked outside.
She was awestruck looking at the luxurious apartment. Yara stepped out of the room and tip-toed to the main door.
“Who are you?”She heard a masculine voice, which made her turn around to look at the source of it.
The guy looked dangerous, to say the least.
“Oh, don't answer. You must be his fling last night. Just leave.”
Fling?
Does she look like that kind of a girl to him?
Yara wanted to snap at him for thinking so low of her, however, at that time escaping was more important than snapping. So she resisted the urge to snap and went out of the apartment.

Asking the passing people, Yara somehow got to know the route back to her home.
While walking along the footpath, she was wondering what exactly happened last night. And how did she reach that apartment?
What if she had a fling as that guy assumed? But no, she could not feel any changes in her body.
With these questions on her mind, she reached her home. However, from the look of it, it doesn't appear to be her home.
It was decorated. As if for a wedding.
Asim is marrying!?
She immediately rang the doorbell and didn't stop ringing it until an annoyed Asim opened the main door.
“You, coming from outside?”As much as Asim remembered she was in her room since the last night, with a bottle of alcohol, mourning over her forced engagement.
“I ran away last night,” Yara replied as if she said she went for a stroll.
“Then why did you come back?”Asim was genuinely puzzled. A person runs away to never come back, right?
“It's too cold outside.”She wrapped her arms around her body, making an innocent face. Such a drama queen!
“You shouldn't have returned, Yara.”He was dead serious while saying so.
“Why?”
“Because you are getting married tonight.”
And that was all it took for her to black out.
★★★
Yara woke up with a jerk. Her forehead was sweating and her heart thumped loudly in fear.
“Oh, it was just a dream.”
She sighed in relief realising that it was just a dream where she was going to be forced into a marriage.
It terrified the hell out of her.
“Yara, wake up.”It was no less than a shock to listen to such a sweet tone from Derya's mouth. Which always spitted venom for others.
Derya entered Yara's room with a happy smile plastered on her face.
Yara couldn't believe it was her stepmother. Smile and Derya? Not possible at all.
“C'mon, get up. It's already evening. You have to get ready for tonight.”
“Why?”It wasn't like she was getting married that night.
“Silly girl, it's your wedding tonight.”Derya laughed and turned to leave.
And that was all it took for her to black out again.
Dear Yara,
I know black is your favourite colour, but that doesn't mean you keep blacking out. Next time, just get a heart attack.

Sobbing
Whimpering
Weeping
Wailing
Howling
Yara tried literally every way of crying. She was being forced into an alliance.
And that calls for celebrations!
Of crying.
The neighbours were requesting again and again to Asim that he shut up his weeping pet cat, it's terrifying their kids.
And Asim was replying again and again that there is no cat in his house. Just a girl with a catty voice, who was soon leaving too.
“Yara, stop crying. You sound like a cat!” Asim said from outside her room.
“Your mother is forcefully marrying me off and I can't even cry?”She shouted at him.
The makeup artist who was doing Yara's makeup felt pity and frustration, all at once. Pity, because poor Yara was being forced into marriage. Frustration, because Yara actually sounds like a cat.
“Your father is equally responsible for this.”Asim taunted.
And Yara fell silent.
★★★
Yara was looking ethereal in her red bridal dress. She looked timid in such a heavy dress, but beautiful to say the least.
And Zuhair, her fiance.
He looked evil, greedy and what not. He looked every kind of bad.
Just a look at him and Yara knew marrying him was no less than a death wish.
She was silently praying to God that somehow this wedding stucks. She never believed in miracles, but she very well knew only a miracle could save her from this destruction in the name of marriage.
The Qazi arrived.
The Nikkah started.
She was asked for her answer.
Zuhair was smiling evilly.
Her father and stepmother were seeing dollars in front of their eyes.
Asim was feeling helpless.
And Yara looked around for a possible escape.
But there was no escape.
She shouldn't have returned.
It was a mistake. A foolish mistake.
But Foolish is the middle name of Yara Ansari.
Yara Foolish Ansari.
“Yara, say Qabool Hai.”Derya smiled while threatening Yara with her dangerous black eyes lined with dark Kohl.
Tears rolled down her eyes. Her chest tightened and her throat felt dry.
“Qabool---”
“STOP THIS WEDDING!”
And the miracle happened.
