Confused
Baffled
Puzzled
Perplexed
Mystified
That was what Bilal felt as Fazaan, Faaz and Yara, three of them eyed him as if he killed their cat.
“Why three of you are looking at me like this?” He asked.
“Like what?” Yara asked.
“Like I have killed your cat.” He replied.
“Don't you dare, Bilal. I don't want to become widower at such a young age.” Faaz added his quirky remark which earned him a harsh pinch on his bicep from Yara.
“Ouch!” He winced.
Yara passed him a glare.
“Are you both done?” Fazaan asked, quite irritatedly.
Faaz and Yara quickly sobered up to avoid Fazaan's burst of anger.
Fazaan took a short breath and again focused on Bilal.
At that point, Bilal wished that Yara hit Faaz's head with a heavy vase. Or Faaz cut Yara's hair. Or anything that may save him from this unannounced interrogation.
“Let's get to the main point. Who is she?” Fazaan got straight to the point, because sometimes suspense can be annoying.
“Ish- Who? Who are you talking about?” Bilal got nervous as he almost blurted out her name. But they don't know about her, right? She never met them. But if they don't, why this question?
“The one, with whom you were getting pictures clicked in the amusement park yesterday.” Faaz added in an I-Know-Everything tone.
So they got to know about her.
Bilal sighed,
“She is my cousin. Isha'a Jahangir.”
“Oh, so it's Suno Chanda kind of love.” Yara awed.
“I think it's Ishq Jalebi kind of love. Right, Bilal?” Faaz asked teasingly.
“Suno Chanda.” Yara argued.
“Ishq Jalebi.”Faaz argued back.
“Suno Chanda!” Yara shouted.
“Ishq Jalebi!” Faaz shouted back.
“Shut up, both of you!” Fazaan, fed up with their childish banter, shouted at both of them.
Yara and Faaz got quiet as Fazaan's angry voice made them flinch back.
“Bilal, you speak.” Fazaan motioned Bilal to speak.
“So I was saying that Isha'a is my cousin. And that's it. She is engaged to someone else.” Bilal spoke.
“But she loves you, Bilal Bhai.” Yara pointed out.
“But I don't love her.” Bilal replied.
“Please don't lie. The way you were looking at her, it was pretty clear that you too love her.”
“No, I don't. She is getting married tomorrow. Please don't exaggerate it.” Saying so he left with annoyed mood.
“Let me tell you, he is lying.” Fazaan was confident in his words.
“I have a plan.” Faaz smirked while saying so.

Yara was dressed in a yellow attire with thin embroidery over it. While Faaz sticked to simple shirt and pants.
“What are you both doing here?” Bilal hissed.
It was Isha'a 's wedding.
“We haven't attended a wedding in years. So thought to attend this one.” Faaz smiled. A smile which promised disaster.
“Do I look like a fool?” Bilal asked sarcastically.
“Yes, you do.”
Faaz's smile was irritating him. Bilal very well knew this stupid couple is upto something devious.
Before he could threaten them to leave immediately, his uncle Jahangir approached them.
“Bilal, are they your friends?” Jahangir asked with a big smile on his bigger face.
“Yes, uncle.” Bilal replied half-heartedly.
“Assalam Alaikum, Uncle. I am Faaz, Bilal's friend and she is my wife Yara.” Faaz introduced himself and Yara
Yara mumbled a greeting as well.
“Oh! Nice to know my silent nephew have friends. Please make yourself comfortable. Don't leave without having dinner.”
Jahangir left to welcome other guests.
“I am warning both of you. Don't do any stupid.” Bilal warned them.
Faaz put his hands on Bilal's shoulders and spoke,
“Bilal, my friend, the damage is done.”

One hour passed.
Two hours passed.
Three hours passed.
The bride was waiting.
The Qazi was waiting.
Everyone was waiting.
However, no one came.
Not even a bad news.
Yara was as clueless as Bilal or anyone else present in the wedding hall.
“Faaz, you still haven't told me what exactly you did to the groom?” She asked him.
“Exactly what I did to that Zuhair.”
“Haw! You bribed the groom?” She exclaimed in a whisper.
He gave a nod and a wink.
Yara grew so happy, so happy that... she pulled his both cheeks and kissed him. On cheeks.
Thank God, they were standing in a secluded corner or... Faaz would have died with embarassment.
She KISSED him.
He had no expectations from this alliance. He was literally shocked at her scandalous move. Faaz handled himself and focused on the drama going on in front of his eyes.
The Qazi left.
The foodie guests also left when they understood they will get no Biryani.
However, the gossiping guests remained there. To witness some drama and get a juicy topic to gossip about among their gossip circles.
Isha'a felt somewhat relieved.
And Bilal somewhat understood it's Faaz's doing.
“What now?” Yara asked.
“Now Bilal will marry Isha'a.” He replied.
“How?” The answer didn't make sense to her.
“The groom didn't arrive. Isha'a's honour is at stake. Of course, Bilal will marry her to save her pride and honour.”
Yara was baffled at his level of stupidity.
“Faaz, the last time I checked this is neither an Indian serial nor a Pakistani drama.”
“What do you mean?”
“How are you so sure Bilal will marry Isha'a? This is the real life and not any drama.”
And that's exactly what happened.
Bilal didn't marry Isha'a.
Everyone cursed the groom and his family. Consoled the father of the bride. And left with empty stomachs.

“You are such an idiot, Faaz.” Yara said for the tenth time in the last two hours.
“It's not my fault. I had seen something similar in a drama. So I thought this happens in reality as well.” He explained.
“And I used to think I am a dumbo.” His stupidity gave a boost to her self-confidence.
Faaz pouted and left for his room.
Now you tell me, can anything be more hilarious?
