"You lost the bet, Gwondworth," Felros smirked at Gwondworth, "Now send us off, now. I know that for the presence of darkness is gone. Now send us back at once."

"You thought the darkness is gone?" Gwondworth peered up at the skies, where the Seven Stars illuminated it, "It would never be gone. But yet the light is not extinguished, so what about' we call it a truce?"

"And what should we do about it?" Ar-Qosh spoke from behind.

"You shall be trapped here for eternity, but I shall grant you immortality, and your blood shall not be used for my sacrifice," Gwondworth grinned, "That is really simple, trust me."

"Either you let us go, or we shall kill you. There is no way we can accept that truce," Ar-Qosh stood, "I hope we do not result to that."

"You killing me? You should know, that I wield eternal power over the Outskirts and since you are now stepping on the ground of the Outskirts, I can snuff out your lifeforce at any moment. Fighting with me here is useless."

Ar-Qosh was about to yell at Gwondworth when Felros nudged him, and she shook her head. "Gwondworth, before I accept it, but why do we still need to be here?"

"That is just part of the bet. Accept it, or you shall perish. If not, you could even attain immortality."

"I accept it," Felros spoke. In fact, she was filled with uncertainty. Immortality comes with a price, and that, in their case was their own freedom. However, that was the only path beside death that they could choose.

"Great," Gwondworth said, "You shall stay at the Edge till the last sunset, and I shall feed on your loneliness and the regret for the years to come."

After Gwondworth left, Ar-Qosh turned back to Felros.

"Felros, are you sure about this? We could still fight him and have a chance to have our freedom--"

"There is no chance. Unless you want to die, we can be here, forever. Without the fear of all mortal men; death," Felros silenced Ar-Qosh, "The loneliness we have to bear, but maybe one day our magic might be so strong we could defeat Gwondworth and get back to the realms. Maybe one day..."
