FELROS
"Come here," A voice echoed out of Felros' mind.
"Who... who are you?" Felros looked around, then noticed that she was walking towards the forests, and a man stood there, she could not see his face but felt that he was smirking.
"You need not know my name for now, but I request for your soul, and when I do you do not have a choice, like how I snuffed out all the lives of the Pure, who you call it."
"Demphin!" Felros turned back, but they were separated by a veil of darkness, that portrayed his face as that of the man who she did not know, "You evil monster! The good shall come for you soon!"
"Who is evil? And who is good? It is all about how we mortal beings portray each other. I feel you, calling to whom you call the light for help, but to me, no one can be worthy enough to be called the light. I snuff out peoples' lives for survival, just like how I did to you. In every good there shall be evil, and when the urge to serve what you call the light increases, so does the urge to bring pain and destruction to others. This is balance, you cannot evade it--"
The man slid back into the shadows and Felros saw the appalled face of Demphin. When Felros turned back all that was left was the trees leading into the forest and nothing else.
"You were nearly killed by those dark tendrils of pure evil. It is time to leave, this place is damned," Demphin glanced at the forest and to the bones and back to Felros, "About what you saw... we will talk about it later."

"Tell me," Demphin said as they continued flying, "What did you see?"
"A... a man," Felros tried to tell Demphin about the dark figure, "He was laughing, he wants to kill me. He said that in every light lies darkness, and when the light gets more powerful, so does the darkness. Balance, he says."
"I see," Demphin said, and thought for a moment before he continued, "He might be telling us something, that the darkness is rising, that moment of powerlessness you have, might show that the balance can be toppled."
"And the village of the Pure was destroyed by the darkness!" Felros turned back in shock. The darkness is rising, she thought. The first signs of the destruction started from the outskirts, but she knew, soon, that the evil would usurp the realms, and they might just be the last hope for the realms.
The dragon rode on in silence, and many other destroyed villages came to view. Felros did not stop, for what had happened previously was a trauma to her. The darkness that was hidden beneath the beauty of the realms had resurfaced, their time to get to the Edge was limited -- they had to be quick.
