Kai's POV
We talked for around an hour until the sky became pitch black. The Stars shone in the darkness. "Wow." Ein spoke in awe. "Kai... This is beautiful." The werewolf said looking to me. "I know." I smiled at him. Ein turned and looked back at the Stars. I rested my head on his shoulder as I looked into the night sky. It was almost like a painting, but better. I remembered when my grandmother first brought me here and showed me the Stars. I came here almost every weekend now. But when I met Ein he felt special. I felt like he deserved to know about the Stars. I felt Ein's tail wrapped around mine as he rested his head on mine. I felt comfortable, I felt safe. It was a nice feeling to be around Ein. "Thank you for bringing me here." Ein spoke up. "It's no problem. I like to come here and just think." I told him. "You don't mind if I come here right?" The werewolf asked. "No of course not!" I replied gazing up into his silver coloured eyes. "Great." He smiled down at me. I was shorter than a lot of people. Not Aphmau short but pretty short. Well I guess it could be because a lot of the guys in our school are giants. We stared off into the Stars in silence for awhile until Ein's phone buzzed. He pulled it out and I read his texts from over his shoulder. It was his mother messaging him.

M: Where are you?!
E: With a friend
M: This late?!
E: Sorry
M: Who is this friend?
E: His name is Kai
M: What are you even doing this late at night??
E: Star gazing
M: You need to come home soon tomorrow is school
E: Fine
Ein looked to me and I pretended that I wasn't reading his texts. "I have to go." He frowned. "Oh okay, let's go then." I responded. We stood and before leaving, took another look at the Stars.
We left through the waterfall and went back the way we came. Once we got back to the park area we started in, Ein spoke. "Thanks Kai. For taking me here." "I would any day." I told him. "And... Nevermind." The werewolf looked away. "What?" I asked. "Not many people think of me as special...Or anything good..." Ein spoke. "What about your family?" He looked like he just had a terrible flash back. I engulfed the werewolf in a tight hug. "I think you're special Ein. I always will." I said. He hugged back. "Thank You Kai." He smiled. This poor werewolf. I thought. He felt unloved, alone. I need to help him. We pulled back from the hug and we walked to our houses. I opened the door to my house.
"Kai's home!" My younger sister, Kylie exclaimed. (I'm making up a bunch of siblings for him so bear with me.) She engulfed me in a big hug. She then looked up at my face. "Where were you?" She asked. "I was stargazing with my friend." I told her. "What's their name?" Kylie asked. She asks so many questions. "Ein." I responded. "Okay!" She smiled letting me go. My father walked up to me. His smile turned into a face of disgust. "Why do you smell like a werewolf?" He scowled. "Um..." I looked away. "Were you with a werewolf? Did it hurt you?!" My father asked looking for bite marks. "No dad!" I told him. "You were with a werewolf weren't you." He glared at me. "I..." I stammered. (The word Stammered just got auto corrected to sta, MEEEE so that's technology for ya.) "Why were you around one of those distasteful things?" Dad growled. Distasteful. I didn't say anything. "Did that evil creature touch you? Stay away from those dirty beasts." He spoke. Evil, creature, dirty, beast. "Leave me alone." I growled in a tone I never heard myself speak in. I pushed him out of my way and stomped up to my room. Distasteful, evil, dirty. Ein was none of those things. I slammed my door behind me. I don't know why I was so upset. My parents had always been against werewolves for some reason they never told me. Ein didn't deserve to be thought of this way. No werewolf did. No mei'fwa did. No human did. Nobody deserved to be thought of badly.
I slowly drifted off to sleep.

"Kai... This is beautiful." Ein smiled at me. "I know." I responded looking up at him. We looked back out into the night sky. The Stars began to form what looked like a heart. My tail wrapped around Ein's as we watched the beauty unfold. "It's wonderful up here." The werewolf spoke up. "Yes. It is." I leaned my head on his shoulder. "Ein." I said. "Yes, love?" He asked looking to me. "You will always be important to me. Don't let anybody think otherwise." I told him. He leaned in close to my face. "Kai, you're very special to me. You will always be my special star." He said before planting a quick kiss on my lips.

"Kai! Kai wake up!" A voice spoke. I felt a small mei'fwa jump on me. My eyes shot open to see Kylie. "What Kylie?" I asked, a bit pissed off at her. Her tail waved behind her. "I can't sleep!" She whined. "Why are you bothering me?" I asked. "Because! Why are you mad? Did I interrupt a dream or something?" A grin spread across her tiny face. "N-No." I replied, lifting the kitten off my body. (Mei'fwas under the age of eleven are called kittens so yey.) "What was it about? Was it that Ein guy?" She rolled around on the bed next to me. "Uh, n-no." I lied. "It was! Tell me what he looks like." The ginger mei'fwa giggled. "He has black and blue hair. And fluffy ears and tail. With silver eyes." I described the werewolf. I accidentally got lost in my mind as I thought about him. "Is he pretty?" Kylie asked. "I-I guess you could say that." I smiled to myself. "Tell me more." She giggled. "He has piercings on his ears, and scratches on his face." I explained. "Was he hurt?" The kitten asked. "I... I don't know. I hope not though." I replied. "How did you meet him?" Kylie asked. "Neither of us were looking where we were going and bumped into each other." I told her. "Do you like him?" The mei'fwa rolled around. "W-What?" I asked. "You said he was pretty. Do you like, like him?" She grinned. "I-I don't know." I replied. "Hehe you do." She giggled. "Just go to sleep." I said as I messed up her hair and ears. "Can I stay with you?" Kylie asked. "Sure." I responded. She smiled and curled up next to me. We both fell asleep. Can you guess who I was thinking about all night? (#FourthWallBroken.)
