This is about to be a really long rant, but I don't apologize for once. This is nothing marvel related.

I'm really pissed off at the world. Mainly, because of racism. Because of discrimination, and judging people off of what they look like or what they believe in.

Who CARES if I'm African American?
Who CARES if I'm Filipino?
Who CARES if I'm a white girl?
Who CARES if I'm Mexican?
Who CARES if I'm Muslim?
Who CARES if I like guys? Who CARES if I like girls? Who CARES if I like both?
Who CARES if I believe in God or if I don't?

At the end of the day, we're all human. Ridicule me, judge me, hate me, disrespect me, but it won't bother me. It won't affect me or change my opinion.

Why? Because unlike you, unlike too many people in this world, I don't see in color. I see in spirit. I try my best not judge people by their appearance, because know that deep down they're probably more amazing of a person than I am. And I openly admit, I've made some mistakes in the past when it comes to racism and stuff like that. Nothing drastic of course, but things like being suspicious of a colored person when they walk by or, silently judging someone for the way they dress. And yeah, I kind of hate myself for it; I can't believe that that's the way that I automatically think, but that was the way I was raised in society, that was the way that most people are raised nowadays. And it's horrifying.

I don't understand what's wrong with the world, how we have created so many stereotypes and the "perfect way of living." No one ever said that you have to like boys or girls, or that your skin had to be a specific color. We can't control who we are. Period.

And everyone who says that we should all be equal? That black people are the same as white, that are the same as Mexicans, and that gay people are the same as straight people? Really, when you think about, none of it should be a question. We shouldn't look at someone and think, oh they're black or oh, they're Mexican or oh, they're white. Or oh, she's dating a girl, or oh, he's dating a guy.

And it shouldn't be considered racist if there's a TV show with all African Americans, or all white people. I don't know why people can't  see beyond the color of skin, or understand that love is a general term.

And all this hatred? It always ends in violence. Every. Single. Time.

I mean, you have shootings at mosques, or synagogues, or just in general public where people are aiming to kill a certain race just because of the fact that they don't like the way they look or what they believe in. People die, because of who they are. Tell me, on what planet, in what lifetime, is that morally correct?!

It's stupid! It's insane! OPEN YOUR EYES. open them, and look beyond color, look beyond gender. Who gives two damns if someone is gay, straight, pan, lesbian, and everything in between? Who gives two damns if I'm Jewish, or Catholic, or Muslim?!?!?!

You don't have to agree with it, but that doesn't mean you have to hate people because of it. It makes me so angry.

And I'll tell you right now... currently, i identify as a straight girl, but I'll also have you know, that I wouldn't be disgusted with myself or with any of my friends if they turned out lesbian, or gay, or anything like that. Love is love, no matter who it's shared with or who expressed it.

I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND.

Love one another, respect one another. Then everything else will fall into place.
