Puttin' on the Ritz (Stark Family)
Don't even ask how I came up with this totally random idea. Because I don't know. Sorry it's short, but hey. Yeah. It's short. Yeah. I have no excuse. But there's Pepperony fluff at the end, so, that's good?
also sorry this writing is total crap because im loopy and tired. yeah. literally put in about -45% effort.

There was nothing better than returning home after a long day of work, after hearing people whining and complaining like toddlers and having to deal with stubborn CEO's who refused to make anything easy for anyone else. To sum it up, Pepper - accompanied by a screaming headache, sore feet, and heavy eyes - was glad to be pulling into the driveway of the Stark household.
Exhausted and ready for a comfy night in front of the television, the wife swept through the front door, instantly kicking off her heels and hanging up her gray pea coat. However, as she stepped further into her home, the low sound of upbeat, quickly-paced music drifted from the hall to her left, the hall that led to the family room. Her interests peaked, she stalked quietly down the hallway, careful not to declare her presence with any sudden noises.
As she crept alongside the wall, stopping just a few inches away from the archway that opened up into the living area, she peaked over her shoulder and into the room. She was now able to recognize the beat as the classic oldie, "Puttin' on the Ritz."
Pepper smiled to herself; oh Tony, what kind of trouble are you and Morgan up to now?
What her eyes were met with, however, caused her to giggle to herself; her obnoxiously adorable husband was dancing around with their three-year-old daughter, both equipped with black fedoras, in which Morgan's was twice the size of her head. Tony was sporting one of his many black suit jackets with one of his older ACDC shirts underneath; sweatpants hung loosely around his legs, his hair a tousled mess, his orange-tinted glasses low on his nose as he danced around the room. While Morgan on the other hand, was dressed in one of Stark's white button-ups, the shirt acting more like a dress than anything - the sleeves hid her tiny hands while the bottom of the shirt nearly reached the ground. A bow tie had been sloppily tossed around her neck, the accessory looking as if it was about to fall off. She giggled as she clumsily attempted to dance around her dad, continuously needing to push up the fedora that kept falling down her face.
Dressed up like a million dollar trooper,
Tryin' hard to look like Gary Cooper
Tony bounced around on one foot, twirling in circles as the chorus came on, Morgan attempting to keep pace with her dad, although it was hard for her to gain her footing while laughing so heavily.
"Come let's mix where Rockefellers walk with sticks, or umbrellas in their mitts, sing it Morguna!" he sung as he pointed down to his daughter, who happily perked up with a hop and screamed,
"PUTTING ON THE WITZ!"
Pepper struggled to stifle her oncoming laughter; the little girl, at only three years old, still struggled to pronounce letters like 'r' and 'l.' As the song continued, Tony grabbed Morgan's hand - that was more or less entirely covered by the sleeve - and began twirling her around in circles, laughing as she giggled. The two continued to twirl and dance around the living room as the song carried on, both people completely off beat, and completely not caring.
When Tony pretended to sing into a microphone and mirror his daughter (who was now jumping up and down, causing the pictures on the walls to shake), Pepper lost it. She erupted into laughs as she rounded the corner, hardly able to keep upright. Instantly, Morgan darted up to her mother with pleased shock written on her face, losing her fedora in the process as she tackled her legs. "MOMMY!"
Pepper continued to laugh as she patted Morgan's head, attempting to comb through Morgan's knotted hair, that was without a doubt due to Tony refusing to brush out Morgan's terrifying bedhead. "I see you two were having fun," Pepper giggled as she locked eyes with Tony, who flashed his classic smirk before winking at his wife.
"That we did."
"Daddy taught me how to do the maca . . . the macawaynuh."
"Macarena," Stark corrected as he tossed his own fedora to the couch and shrugged off his suit jacket. "FRIDAY, cut music," he exhaled, sounding out of breath from dancing as he plopped on the sofa. Pepper smiled without realizing it, her heart content and happy; she had needed something like this after a stressful day of work.
"Watch me Mommy, watch me!" Morgan suddenly chanted as she started the Macarena dance in all her baggy-shirt and knotted-hair glory, not caring that the music wasn't playing, which did nothing but make her more adorable.
"That's very good, honey!" Pepper was laughing again, this time hearing Stark add in his own deep chuckle.
As the little girl was spinning around throwing her arms in the air, Tony managed to lift himself from the couch with a tired groan, running a hand through his hair when he directed his attention towards his daughter. "Alright, little goon, time for bed, I told you you could stay up till Mom got home. Go up and brush your teeth and get in your PJ's before storytime."
Morgan's giggling smile fell as soon as she heard "time for bed," her shoulders slumping forwards, which in turn caused the enormous sleeves of Tony's shirt to brush the ground. "I don't want to go to bed!" she pouted. "I'm not tired!"
"Morgan, cooperate, or we'll have to skip storytime again." With a 'hmph' and a roll of her eyes, the brunette stormed down the hall.
Pepper was quick to call after her, though. "Morgan! Watch the eye roll!"
There was no answer however, only the sound of little feet stomping heavily up the stairs. Tony stepped up to his spouse, managing to steal a kiss as he tilted her head to meet his own. Pepper sighed. "She gets that from you."
"I know. Missed you today. How was work?"
Another sigh. "Stressful. People never want to cooperate. All they do is make everything more difficult."
"Mhm."
There was a slight pause before Pepper spoke again. "Looks like you handled today fairly well," she remarked, placing a tender kiss on Stark's lips. He smirked.
"Don't hold your breath. It took me two hours to convince her that it was a bad idea to put the hair dryer in the bathtub."
Pepper jerked away from Tony, worry pulsing through her as she stared at him, horrified. "What?!"
Stark was quick to cut her off before she went on rambling about how dangerous that was. "Relax, I handled it. I wouldn't have let her do it."
"Oh my God Tony, you honestly scare the crap out of me."
At that, Tony let out a hearty chuckle. "Hey, I got this dad thing in the bag. I even let her dress herself today, ya know, teaching the independence."
Pepper's face fell in both confusion and amusement. Then she put two and two together, and the revelation caused her to snort in laughter. "Wait . . . you mean, she put on your shirt and bow tie? Like, that wasn't you?"
Tony shrugged. "Well, I volunteered the bow tie, but she grabbed the shirt herself."
Pepper opened her mouth to speak again when the sound of music blasting down the stairs was enough to surprise both parents. When the initial shock fell, Pepper was able to recognize the song, and when she did, her jaw nearly hit the floor.
Before she got in a word, the music was blasting through the speakers.
"I'M SEXY AND I KNOW IT!"
All Pepper had to do was glare at her husband before he, along with Morgan who had somehow reappeared behind the couch, darted out of the room laughing. "Run Morgan, run!" he yelled as he scooped the laughing girl up in his arms, dashing down the hall and up the stairs before Pepper got in a scolding word.
"TONY! YOU ALLOWED OUR DAUGHTER TO LISTEN TO THAT?!" she screamed up the stairs, her voice hardly heard over the music. She knew it was of no use, and no matter how badly she wanted to be mad at Stark for allowing their daughter to listen to such a song, she couldn't help but admit that it was hilarious.
Her hands on her hips, she allowed the music to continue playing as she paced into the kitchen for a nighttime cup of coffee.
Oh well, she'd punish Tony later.
